    I took advantage of the new client drop-in offer of $17.50 and booked my first Glutecamp class with Shakira-- she was absolutely amazing. From the moment the class started, she was super detailed with her instructions-perfect for someone new like me. She made sure everyone knew exactly how to use the equipment and maintain proper form, which I really appreciated. The class structure was challenging but manageable, and I loved the mix of cardio and strength. And can we talk about the music? The playlist was on point, high energy, motivating, and made the workout fly by. The vibe in the studio was welcoming, the lighting was cool and energizing, and the whole experience felt really intentional and well thought-out. I left feeling stronger, sweatier, and seriously motivated to come back. Definitely recommend trying a class here, especially with Shakira if you want a clear, motivating instructor who really knows her stuff! There are cubbies for personal belongings in the training room. Be sure to bring a towel + water bottle, you will need it. Street parking is plenty and free before 11am on surrounding streets like Fair Oaks, De Lacey, and Green Street!

    I can't say enough great things about Bunda Pasadena. I became a founding member and took a leap of faith, since I had never tried Bunda before. When they finally opened, I knew I'd made the right decision. The teachers are always so kind, supportive, and full of energy. It makes every class feel motivating. And their playlists are the best! I always want to pull out my phone and Shazam the songs. I also love that I walk out knowing I've had an effective workout, and I also feel so accomplished. Within just one month, I started seeing results, though I'll admit I've been consistent with Bunda and mindful with my diet as well. I also enjoy the extra challenges. I joined the One Month Bunda Challenge determined to win the beach towel, and I did! It was adorable, and it made the victory even sweeter. On top of all that, the staff makes me feel truly welcome. They greet me by my first name, which adds such a personal touch. I'm so glad I found this gym.

    I'm so happy I found BÜNDA! I just started my third week and I can already see and feel the difference in my body. My core feels stronger, my calves are more defined, and my booty is definitely lifting and firming up! What really makes BÜNDA special are the people. The coaches are amazing at correcting my form and posture when I need it (which I definitely appreciate), and the front desk girlies are always super helpful; whether I'm adjusting a booking or bringing a friend along for a class. Now, a little heads-up for the newbies: BÜNDA can feel like a lot at first. The music is loud, the energy is high, and there's a ton happening all at once. As someone with A.D.D., I was definitely overstimulated my first class, but don't worry, you'll adjust, and it's so worth it. Here are a few tips that helped me: * On the StairMaster: Try closing your eyes and tuning out the music during a "push." It helps to just focus on the coach's voice. * Noise sensitivity? Ask for earplugs at the front desk, they've got you! * Bring a buddy: BÜNDA gives you guest passes, and I love bringing friends and family to experience the class with me. Booty gains for everyone If you're thinking about trying it, go for it! It's challenging, it's fun, and it works.

    I highly recommend coming here! I was hooked after my first trial class! It's been about 2 months now for me and I go about 5-6 days/week. I definitely feel a difference in my strength and body! It's suitable for any fitness level, it's fun - the 55 minutes is over before you know it, informative - the instructors make sure your form is correct, booking classes is easy, the entire staff is super friendly and very helpful!

    Amazing work out! You just have to go and the instructors help guide you through everything! All the girls are very encouraging!

We set up an appointment to do a consultation, and it was very helpful. I even asked not to see my weight at the time (LOL), and Amber was kind enough to take that silly request into consideration. I proceeded to train with her. During the few weeks I trained with her, the process was very smooth. I also appreciated having someone "correct" and fix what I was doing to ensure I was doing the workout correct. Amber really emphasized on form over "finishing" the workout. Also, I appreciated that she also took the time to focus on how I "felt" during the training process and made adjustments to my workouts, as needed. For example, I have difficulty doing a lot of workouts with squats, due to my knees, and Amber taught me how to "warm up" my knees. She also taught me a stretch I can do to help my upper back & shoulder pain. Scheduling-wise, I also liked having her personal number to schedule trainings with her. She also checked in every week to ensure our schedule was still on track or, if changes to the schedule needed to be made, it was easy to make such adjustments. I also appreciated the candid conversations we had regarding certain nutrition and other "fad diet" trends. I learned a lot from her! She has so much knowledge and is very caring and supportive. The class was with 6 individuals with very different stages of fitness journey and needs. (Some have bad shoulders, injured body parts etc.) Tracey gave everybody with very customized, individual cues and progression/regression, and I am amazed how she helped everyone to push just right amount so that everyone can get good workout while not injuring themselves. The whole class flow was amazingly choreographed with proper techniques and hands-on adjustments. I am at the phase to undo my bad habits and correct my alignments deviations. Without me communicating verbally, Tracey understood my intentions and guided me through the whole class. She gave me so many aha moments and I finally found some of my muscle groups firing which I haven't felt for years. She has such a sweet, nurturing personality, and it was such a pleasant and fun experience to move in her class! So they let me signed up and I had Chris Mallett worked with me. He firstly told me that if I don't have doctors note he can't really do much, then I said I am very close by, I can go home and grab it for him. He immediately told me that he is leaving soon. The front desk told me it's about one hour session, but Chris seems to be in a rush, he didn't have patience with me. He said even though if I leave the office now, they are going to charge me. I was very upset, I did not get informed that I should bring the doctors note, also he didn't do anything with me yet. When I got home, I did some research about his name and the history of this place, it seems like Chris and his wife are both the owners and they live in South Pasadena. But how rude he treated me today, I was speechless! I told the front desk that I did not get treated by the therapist and I am not going to pay for this visit. She seems to be understanding. I hope I haven't been charged for this unpleasant visit. As I live very close by, I also signed up all the paperwork and my credit card information, so I think I will come again to see another therapist in April anyways, at least I can have a better judgment of this place after I get my next appointment.

My whole life I have really struggled with being happy in my own skin. In about 8 weeks, Ben took me from being uncomfortable taking my shirt off to me lounging around completely confident in myself. He gave me a full meal plan, taught me about the food I was eating, walked me through the nutrition and exercise program, and checked in with me regularly to not only make sure I was on track--but that I was happy. When my gym was operational, I was lifting MAYBE 3 times a week, then it closed and we switched to doing at home workouts with hardly any equipment. Even with the switch, the body fat was sliding off. I became comfortable and excited that people wanted to touch my stomach--or should I say my abs! I am beyond grateful to this man and have referred him to everyone I know that: struggles with their weight, confidence, and strength. Many coaches narrow down on a specialty--strength, weight loss, physical therapy--Ben's specialty is the human body in general. He will make sure you have the mobility to get the movement down and if you tell him something didn't feel right he'll adjust the workout on the spot. It's pretty impressive. 2. He's up to date on his biochemistry when it comes to diet advice. I'm a former scientist and in the beginning would challenge him on his knowledge...but he really knows what he's talking about. No bro science. 3. When I did get injured (unrelated accident) he already knew all the exercises my PT taught me and made it really easy to heal. I wouldn't have made the recovery progress I did without him. 4. He's humble, funny, and positive. I always feel comfortable around him. He listens to feedback and won't push you at the wrong times. I've had bad trainers that think this is bootcamp and they're the drill sergeants. It goes without saying that you'll make a lot of progress working with Ben but the real edge he has over everyone is his expansive body of knowledge. I really can't recommend him enough.
