    This FAKE, LYING "digital deal" does not exist. I have their iPhone app. I am registered. The deal is not in there.

    Lies lies lies! This store straight-up LIES on pricing. There's no way to claim the fake "Digital Deals" they label items with. I have the iPhone app. I did all the supposed steps. The deal literally does not exist. See photo. The check-out staff don't even know how to fix the problem. This has been the case for years. Nobody cares.

That's why my recent experience at this Walgreens stood out, but also why I feel this review needs to be balanced. We actually transferred our prescriptions here from Safeway a couple of months ago, hoping that a larger pharmacy would be more reliable when it comes to keeping medications in stock. At Safeway, we often found ourselves scrambling to locate another pharmacy because they simply didn't have our medications in stock. Unfortunately, even though we've only been at Walgreens a short time, it has still been a stressful experience. It's very difficult to get through by phone, and there have been multiple times where I've been on hold for 20 minutes only to have the call disconnected. Prescriptions are not always ready when expected, which adds to the stress. We've had moments where we're close to running out of a medication and it's still "in progress," leaving us rushing to the store at the last minute. There also seems to be some kind of disconnect between their fulfillment system and the pharmacy itself. To be fair, this doesn't seem unique to this location. Many pharmacies these days appear to be short staffed and dealing with medication shortages, and it's clear the people working there are doing their best under difficult circumstances. I truly don't believe these issues are the fault of the staff, but rather a reflection of how these companies are being run. That said, the reason I'm giving three stars instead of a lower rating is because of Grant, the pharmacist. He truly went above and beyond to help us with several prescriptions. He was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and genuinely sympathetic. Instead of rushing through things, he took the time to really understand what we needed and jumped right in to help. It was such a refreshing experience and made a stressful situation so much easier. Grant is absolutely the shining light at this location and honestly the reason we're willing to stick around and hope things improve. His level of care and willingness to help is something you don't come across every day, and we're very grateful for him.

I said Ok, then 1:00? well no, they would be at lunch then! So then 2:00? aAt 3:30 there was still no text saying that they were ready so I just went down there. Guess what? They weren't ready!! My doctor wanted me to get these meds in my system ASAP - as it was important. So I'm here WAITING for them to be filled - mAubry 20 minutes. Good grief!!! This is on a Sunday too. No excuse for poorly run pharmacies and bad systems and processes. Makes you wonder why they felt compelled to put up this sign.

First of all, it's impossible to get a hold of this pharmacy. They never answer the phone and it always goes to voicemail. You have to leave your number on the voicemail and wait for a call back. No other way to contact them. So yeah if you're in a pinch and need your meds or you need to talk to a pharmacist...good luck. Wait times I came on a Friday right before the lunch rush around 11am and there were 2 people in front of me. I thought the line would move quickly but they only had 1 kiosk open out of 3 and the guy at the kiosk was someone in training. After about half an hour, I finally got to the kiosk. I had 4 prescriptions to pick up and the pharmacy counter looked like a zoo. He couldn't find the meds and was looking one by one in different baskets... it was like a kid on an Easter hunt. He even had the audacity to say "wow these things are hard to find." Idk why cvs would put all my 4 meds in different baskets... why can't it go under the patients name? I was literally there for another 20 mins waiting on him to find my meds. Meanwhile I turn my head around and the line is now 12 people in line...... It was so ridiculous. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to.

    I used this pharmacy for five years, with nothing but problems every month. My insurance wouldn't…read moreallow me to use any other pharmacy except mail order, being much worse than this pharmacy. Every month I would order refills for my medications and I would be told I filled them somewhere else, my physician had not authorized the refill(s), or they couldn't refill medications when I was completely out because they were too soon to refill. I worked in the Pharmacy industry for many years, so I do know what I am talking about. I shouldn't have to call my physician's nurse to find out the refill request was sent days earlier, even multiple times to make sure I received my medications. I would contact the pharmacy, they would say my meds were filled somewhere else and accuse me of wrongdoing. I finally told my physician I was calling the police to find out who refilled my meds, then calling the pharmacy to notify them I would contact the police as well. Miraculously, they (the pharmacy) would find my prescriptions, apologize, and let me know I would have them ready within the hour. In the middle of all this I was battling a crippling seizure disorder which made me unable to work and I was on "Obamacare." Some of their pharmacy plans limit you to certain pharmacies, which was extremely frustrating on my part. Now that I have Medicare and Medicaid due to not being able to work anymore, I have a choice of pharmacies to use. Not this one, ever again.

When we reached the produce section, there was very little produce available (no bananas at all, very sparse selection) and what was there did not look well maintained. There were spills on the floor that had not been cleaned up, which made the area feel messy and neglected. I understand that inventory issues can happen, so that part alone would not have bothered me too much. Checkout was where things really fell apart. We waited a very long time in line (all the lines were back into the aisles), and when we were finally helped, the cashier, a very sweet older gentleman who clearly seemed to be having a rough day, rang up our groceries only for the payment keypad to freeze and stop working. He became flustered, and we were moved to another register. It was uncomfortable to watch him try to get help from a manager who appeared annoyed rather than supportive. Overall, the store felt unorganized and dirty, and the whole experience was stressful. I genuinely feel bad for the employees, as it did not seem like they were being set up for success. If you have the option, I would recommend choosing a different Fred Meyer location.

    - horrible service and high vaccine price -…read more We went to bartell drugs for our tdap vaccines. While it is covered 100% by my insurance, they charged us $30 and $40 copay, respectively. I called my insurance and bartell back and forth, and they kept saying it's not their responsibility. It's super annoying, so I had my insurance call bartell and they created a ticket to look into it. A couple days later, I called bartell and they told me it's just how much my insurance charges me for copay. It makes absolutely no sense because my insurance is telling me I don't have to pay anything. My insurance also told me they are double charging if the insurance is paying for the vaccine and I need to pay for copay. I'm extremely uncomfortable because bartell doesn't even update and asks me to follow up with them. I have to pay them a visit tomorrow again. This is insane, why would a drug store scam me from vaccines when insurance is paying for it 100%.... I have never paid anything for vaccines in the United States because preventives should be covered 100%. Don't come here for your vaccines.. go to Walgreens or Walmart instead. [Update 04/15/25] The pharmacy manager called and told me that the vaccine costs $105, so they have to charge me or else they lose money. Guess what? The retail price of the vaccine is $84.99 and with Good Rx it's only $54.18. I'm not sure why they get the vaccine at a higher price or maybe they are actually trying to make money on vaccines, but I'm never gonna get any vaccines from this place again. It's also weird that they told my insurance company the copay is an administrative fee but told me otherwise. The pharmacy manager, duke, told me it's gonna be the same everywhere else. Guess what? My insurance told me that has never happened in the past. Unless my insurance is lying, I highly doubt Duke knows what she's talking about and she probably never checked other drug stores beforehand. Therefore I'm bumping up my rating of this store from three stars to four stars. When I told him the place is starting to look like stores in Soviet Russia, he informed me that their holding company, Rite Aid, is going out of business. Therefore this location is not receiving any more merchandise deliveries until August 25. On that day, CVS will be moving in to set up shop at their Crossroads location. So if CVS Incorporated is reading this, give Nolan a raise!
