The good is the lady in the deli spoke perfect English and was very nice and didnt act like talking to me was an imposition. Later I was lost again and there was a nice older lady and even though she couldn't speak English she understood me and got me where I needed to go. Now that's awesome. Both her and the deli lady both said have a nice day as well. Those ladies are doing it right!

In general, gas prices tend to be lower in South King County. This station has plenty of gas pumps and there is a sizable convenience store as well here. There are a couple of entrances into the gas station. One on 43rd Street and one on E Valley Hwy. It can be tricky getting out of this station if you are exiting onto 43rd. There is a lot of incoming traffic headed to the entrance onto Highway 167 up the road so be careful. If you happen to be shopping at IKEA or Great Wall Mall, it is worth filling up here since the gas prices are lower than what you will find in Seattle or on the Eastside unless you are filling up at Costco.

And I walked off and heard his friend say "whoa, there he goes...." I don't want to be a nag but I carefully considered mentioning it to the cashier at checkout. Not trying to be a Karen or police QFC. It's just bad for business. As I approached the checkout area, all the self checkout monitors and cashiers were clustered in a group laughing and talking with complete disregard of the 70-80 customers in the store. Everyone was funneling to self checkout and no one was even there monitoring, helping, checking IDs etc. I laughed to myself because I have to fire someone Monday and what he did wasn't this bad. There's always great customer service at this location! They also always have a great selection of wines, flowers, and fresh herb plants at great prices. This Shell has a Jacksons convenience store and a car wash. There is a discount given on gas if you get a car wash at the same time. Gas prices are moderately priced for the area. I like the easy street access to enter and exit this gas station. This makes it easier to head where you want to go without having to turn around.
