I came in after 3pm and I was the only one there. I ordered the Tteokbokki and made a Sesame Ramen at the ramen bar. The ahjumma said it would take about 7 minutes for the Tteokbokki to come out and brought it to my table. The Tteokbokki was a little spicier than a Shin ramen (I think). I stayed about an hour, I ordered a Bulgogi kimbap to-go and asking if I could get parking validation. Unfortunately don't validate parking, so I think next time I visit I'll take the Link to the Spring district station and walk over. Tip: make sure you read the entire page of information for the ramen bar. Especially for the timing, I assumed 4 meant 4 minutes but from the instructions 4 meant 6 minutes

I walked into Southport Kitchen & Market and was blown away by all the items this place sells. You can order salads, charcuterie, coffee, dessert, sandwiches made fresh and buy wine, beer, greeting cards, snacks, and so much more. There's also a few tables inside and outside. I ordered the Viet Classic bánh mì ($10.00). The bánh mì had viet ham + jambon + head cheese + pate + egg butter + pickles + cilantro + cumber. The bread and the ingredients were very fresh. While waiting for my order to be prepared, I walked around the market and bought a A Jar of Pickles notebook ($6.50). I will definitely be back to try other bánh mì's while I am here. The staff member was very friendly.

It's like a Vietnamese deli that sells international items. The market is clean. I got the Jambon Banh Mi (equivalent to ham), and the bread itself was good and crunchy. I also noticed the store carried some authentic Italian noodles, so I had to purchase some for my dinner tonight. We were the only ones inside the deli at 10 am on Thursday, so dude was fast with our sandwiches.

Possibly. I get all my pantry staples and Asian snacks here. The frozen foods are always good too. Not always the best selection on fresh produce or meats but I mostly get those at Trader Joe's anyways. S-Mart has the best prices on all my kids' favorite snacks and now they make fresh banh mi's, so it's the only grocery store my kids actually willingly go to. The employees are always helpful and friendly, especially to my little ones. Yes it can smell funky in there and isn't as well lit but as long as they continue to stock all my pantry and snack needs at the best prices around, I'll continue coming back!

You pay for the banh mi at the grocery checkout and then bring the receipt to the banh mi counter - which is just to the left inside S Marts South entrance. This is a small spot and they get busy, so perhaps check out the wait time and order before you shop. I waited 30 minutes mid day today. (S Mart has a great selection of both Asian and some non-asian foods) The staff were very nice and helpful and our order was spot on, even with our special requests of one non-toasted and without jalapenos. We'll definitely go again.

From my childhood experience, my parents loved going to dried seafood shops but quite a few times complaining about the high pressure sales techniques on the way home. It ends up the sales clerks are very friendly and they are helpful to recommend the right kinds of sea cucumber, bird nest, fish maw, etc. The product is super dried with great shape. There are so many resources online about preparing/cooking dried seafood. The techniques are very simple mostly about hydrating them overnight and the dried seafood definitely will bring your Chinese dishes to next level. For example, if you are tried of boring fried rice, just added a few pieces of steamed dried scallop. It will taste so much better... Not to mention bird nest, this is a great secret of anti-aging and Chinese beauty tip.
