QFC has seriously gone downhill over the years. I don't understand why all of these stores now have check stands so small that they don't even have room to bag your groceries anymore. I showed up today with a cart full of groceries (50-items). 0 check-stands open. I swear, the woman working self-check looked at me like she expected me to come to self-check to scan and bag my own groceries. Um...no. Took a few minutes before she gave up calling someone else to do it and came over to help me. I showed her the codes on my phone, and in a foul attitude she said, "oh, Door Dash." Well, close enough...but do you really have to take that attitude? It's someone doing their grocery shopping one way or another. While she's scanning my groceries, I try and help her out by double-bagging a bunch of paper bags to help prep for bagging my groceries - but she looks at me like I should be doing that. She finally pauses mid-order and calls over someone to help. Her body language said everything - grumpily shoving the groceries aside, fighting back getting in an argument with a coworker who was merely trying to help. When we were done, I said "thanks for your help." Got nothing back. Rude. And what is with Kroger designing their stores so that their customers feel peer-pressured into doing the work?? I don't understand it. Horrible experience. Not the first QFC that treated me like dirt. read more

Giving 5 stars mainly for the Pharmacy here. I took my mom to get her vaccine and she was anxious, hesitant, and difficult about it all. Pharmacist Amitris(?) was amazing, patient, compassionate and informative. She even lent my mom her own jacket when my mom was cold. I'm so glad I brought her here for the shot. As for the store itself, it's never been my favorite location because when they had cashiers, folks had to line up in a spot that blocked the main walkway and then the way they had it laid out was awkward in that you had to put your stuff down in one spot and then walk around some barrier to line up. Now they seem to only have the self-check out line open and that's not great either. Some folks aren't comfortable with that even with someone standing there to monitor. Overall, I've been able to find what I need there but it is definitely a smaller QFC. read more

To be quite honest...I have never met an employee there that has NOT been SO HELPFUL!...SO POLITE!...SO EFFICIENT!... I don't shop there THAT often ...but enough to tell you that the QFC at Northtowne has got to be my favorite QFC!...WHERE do I begin!?? The store is always clean...they always have to items in stock that are on sale..the pharmacy women are extremely efficient and pleasant !..Always willing to go the extra mile.. We really need to acknowledge what a tough job their employees have of pleasing EVERY SINGLE customer that walks in the door!..THAT IN ITSELF is amazing! The checkers...John, Chase, and sadly missed Carlos(who I believe moved away) are the most genuinely gracious and polite boys I have ever met! Taylor , who I believe..is the afternoon/night manager..is always working his tail off but ALWAYS takes the time to talk to the neighbor customers and ask them how they are doing! The girls in the deli department are once again...always willing to go the extra mile to get you what you want ..as well as keeping their area extremely clean and beautifully stocked! There is NO WAY I could do their job!...so I would like to acknowledge what a great bunch of employees that this particular QFC has and kudos to them for being the greatest bunch of customer service agents I have ever encountered at a QFC!! Prices seem higher for here for some items. One checker on a week day visit helped by a manager. But only self service open on a busy Saturday morning. Got to be kidding. Also one exit was blocked possibly to stop stealing because there was only one employee available and that person was buried in self service assistance at a very busy time. This is what's known as Northtowne QFC, or "the little QFC". This hidden gem has everything you need, easy parking, no lines and the friendliest checkers around. No attitude! It's sort of like a small-town market. Inside the store is a full-service Starbucks, a deli, bakery, floral, meat / seafood, pharmacy.... everything you need! I recently had an encounter with Eric, a young man who works there. His attitude was so fantastic & so positive, it makes you want to shop there. He has an infectious kindness about him. Skip the hassle of the "big QFC" by the mall and shop here at Northtowne. You won't be disappointed! read more

I love this little gem. I can run in and find things quickly. It has the feel of a neighborhood market with staff I recognize and can enjoy with a large enough footprint to offer most things I need. If I want to have EVERY CHOICE IN THE WORLD this is not the place. But that place is so close I'm surprised a chain market can afford to keep this wonderful place open. Hats off to QFC. read more

Whenever I walk in to this Bellevue Way QFC to buy a grocery item, I feel welcomed. There is a family atmosphere among the workers, even though they are short staffed. I always receive a smile at the self checkout and great assistance if I need help finding something. If you are looking for a place to find great quality service and products, this is the place to go. read more

My regular pharmacy closed down a few years ago and my prescriptions were transferred to this store. The pharmacy staff is pretty friendly, although I wish the hours were expanded. Since the store is close to my office, I drop into the Starbucks some mornings. Sometimes the line is so slow, I leave before I have had a chance to order. The service is okay, it is just super slow! The store itself is odd, the selection is not at all like what you would expect from a QFC. When I refer to this store as the "Fake QFC" people seem to know exactly what I am talking about. If I go in for five items, I expect to find two and the store consistently lives up to my low expectations. I try to remember that and avoid this store, but when I am stopping in at the pharmacy or the Starbucks, I want to limit my stops. I remind myself to think of this more like a corner market than a QFC, then I am not disappointed. read more

Some may say it's small, but this place is well-located and is just the right size for where it is. Sure it doesn't have the all-encompassing selection of its larger siblings, but it's there to service the meat and potatoes (literally?) of grocery shopping in the neighborhood. I split my time between here and the bellevue village location depending on what direction I'm coming home from and what I think I need. If it's just chips and milk or something and I'm on 520? I'll hop the extra exit and come here. Staff has always been friendly and willing to help you out (I got some unfinished french bread to take and bake at home once, yum!). The renovation has been positive, but I will say I miss the little coffee hut that used to be outside the entrance, grrrrr on the starbucks. ALSO: They have an on-site pharmacy. The bellevue village location does not. This is good if you happen to use supermarket pharmacies. read more

No hand wipes or sanitizer available anywhere. We asked 3 different employees... nothing to clean the carts with, nothing near the checkout station, nothing anywhere in the store. QFC... This is a really bad business decision. read more

A marginally mediocre store has become worse. Already chronically understaffed, the North Towne QFC is now attempting to route customers through the self-serve area. As a result you can now plan on ridiculously long lines to check out with a live checker, OR you can self-check and spend your time waiting for the overtasked attendant to come reset your station when it doesn't recognize your item, check your ID if you buy alcohol, have produce, it thinks you put something down in your bag (you didn't) etc. All this after having a 50/50 chance of finding the basics you want: hamburger, chicken, produce item. And most of the shelves are stocked with Kroger brand items rather than your usual brand. The people that work there are generally nice, so I quietly tolerate the long lines and lack of selection if I'm not in a hurry. Today at 4:45 there's one check stand open, and I've been waiting with many other customers for over 10 min just to buy my groceries read more

It's an older QFC with small check-stands in the Clyde Hill neighborhood. I only come to this QFC if it's on the way to where I'm going because it doesn't have as many options as the other QFC in Downtown Bellevue. The hot food area is really limited. The deli counter is small. Like I said before - I don't really go here unless it's en route and I need to get something on-the-go. I would never get all my groceries here. read more

Much smaller than the flagship QFC across from Bellevue Square. That said, the staff is very helpful and friendly. However, given that I live less than a block away from their other Bellevue location I mentioned, I'm not sure I'd be a regular at this location. If you are looking to come in however, their parking lot does offer ample amounts of free parking. read more

The changes that have been made have turned our nice neighborhood market into an attempted at a supermarket, no deli options no butcher shop options. Everything is prepackaged in plastic, very unappealing. Sterile sterile sterile. I've shopped here for over 20 years, almost daily and thanks to the remodel I've been to Met Market and Whole Foods a lot more. I do like the employees but they are stuck with this mess that the bean counters have thrust upon us. I miss the little Q. read more

I went there today and I went to the hot food area to get something and I stood there for a few mins everyone that was working in the deli continued doing whatever they were doing no hello no nothing, I came back a few mins later to see if I could get anyone to help me. I said hello to a woman standing there and she literally shook her head telling me no basically.. I waited a minute or so longer ready to give up and finally a male coworker of hers came over and helped me out but there was no friendly greeting it was very sterile and cold reception. I won't ever go back there.. And I'll tell everyone I know about how aweful their customer service is Employees like that are the reason grocery stores lose customers and eventually go out of business read more

5 stars for the pharmacy staff! Up until now, I had always absolutely dreaded going to the pharmacy. I have been to countless numbers of them and the staff members are always incompetent, inefficient, and unfriendly. I was so pleasantly surprised when I started coming to Bellevue way QFC. The staff members are extremely friendly, professional, and on top of it. I can always trust my prescriptions to be filled quickly, and if I ever have a problem or a question regarding a prescription they are always available and helpful. Shoutout to Edgar who is awesome at his job, super nice, and remembers my name whenever I come in! Thanks for putting up with me! read more

QFC - Grocery Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

Ah, Bellevue...my hometown. I bash it constantly and it richly deserves it. But even if the searing heat of the Sahara, you can occasionally find an oasis and this store is that for me. This is a pretty good modern approximation of a 1950s neighborhood market. It's not the glitzy superstore of their Bellevue Village location or your local Whole Paycheck or Bellevue's "new" Safeway, which is really nothing more than the average, cookie-cutter Safeway inflated with a lot of fluff. This is a grocery store with a little heart, a lot of personal attention, a staff that is genuinely friendly, and a layout that makes it FAR easier to use than their larger and splashier stores. Shopping here is relaxing, quiet, unhurried, and easy. If their selection is a slightly-abridged version of the larger markets, it's fine with me. They recently did a remodel and somehow managed - even with the omnipresent Starbucks inserted into an awkward corner - to not rob the place of that small-town intimacy. Yeah, you won't find some things here that you do elsewhere. If I really NEED packaged buffalo, different dog foods, or an obscure Spanish Tempranillo, I can go to the Bellevue Village store or I can just go to Pete's. But for the core of our food needs, this is FAR less of a teeth-grinding, in-yo-face-yuppies, parking lot-derby store than other Bellevue markets. And the ironic thing is that, in terms of the "see and be seen" habits of the majority of Bellevidians, THIS store offers far more "star sightings" than any of the others. I frequently see Edgar Martinez here, assorted Seahawks and Mariners, and even, one magic(?) evening, Bill Gates. As with any great store, the best feature is their people. They're unfailingly helpful, diverse, intelligent, and friendly. And their tiny deli, IMHO, does a MUCH better job with the QFC prepared foods than any of the other locations I've visited. This is a tiny, quiet island of sanity and good humor in the midst of the ocean of Bellevue pomposity and glitz. I frequently fear they'll close it and try to drive me to their store next to Bellevue Square. If the QFC management tries that however, I'm ready for 'em. This is the worst store I've been to. I received exceptionally rude service from a cashier and when I confronted the manager about it, the manager simply shrugged it off as her having an attitude problem. This happened all while the cashier was yelling at the manager to "send her home, she didn't really care." I've never seen such poor service before. I went back a few weeks later to find that the cashier was never reprimanded for her actions. They lost all of my business. I'll be at Safeway and Whole Foods from now on. read more

This is a decent little store. A highlight is their $1.99 fish sandwich. Same ingredients as fillet o fish but about half the price. You have to add your own tartar sauce, which they provide. The tartar sauce itself is a little bit wimpy so add a packet of relish along with it. It's also a good idea to let the bun sweat a bit before opening. I admit the filet o fish is a Little bit better, but you can't argue at that price. Somebody was saying their discount meat section is amazing, and looking it over I have to agree. I don't eat enough meat to benefit from this, unfortunately. They have take-out sushi that I believe is not made on the property as they do at other QFCs. I tried it one time and it was so cold I had to nuke it for 20 seconds. There is no bulk bin section. Being a tiny store has its disadvantages, but it is close to my work, and I can take a shortcut through the woods to get there quickly, so I'll keep going there. read more

QFC isn't my all time favorite store, HOWEVER, this QFC is the best! All the employees that I come in contact with are SO friendly and helpful. This is a smaller store, and that's how I like it. One of my favorites is Bill. What a great guy! I absolutely love chatting with him. He's been married over 55 yrs. to his wife, and is genuinely happy and still so much in love. This may be the nicest QFC around and it has great meats, fish, produce, wines, etc. and equally nice employees. They are improving their organic selections which is a good thing. Their bakery is mediocre and the parking can be challenging. read more

I have been a regular customer since 1977, when I moved to Bellevue. Candidly I much preferred the original QFC to the Kroeger version. Even so, with the exception of some specialty items I regularly purchase at Whole Foods, QFC continues to be my prime grocery source. read more

Great location!!!. Super clean. Great customer service. Vegetables are so fresh. They mark down salad and mushroom packs if they are more than a few days old. When I buy those markdown items, they still are very fresh and great to eat even days after I buy them. That means they keep stuff super fresh. I am a fan. read more

This is my neighborhood store, and the place I go to pick up a thing or two quickly. They have a good florist and good prices on roses (happy wife, happy life!).
