The employees were talking to each other while the restaurant was empty. Finally an employee told me that I can get a small bowl for the kid and when I ordered it the employee next to her who was busy talking said no, but it was after we had our mind set- upsetting my daughter. They didn't care that I walked out. there is no way they take good care of hygiene and food if they are that careless. Shame on them. At least they are courteous at Chipotle. read more

The employees made the orders quickly yet efficiently, and got to me and the friends I came with pretty quickly considering the line. I've convinced myself to try Qdoba on several occasions. This location twice; disappointed both times. I'm hoping if I write it down I'll remember not to return. The tortilla soup was salty & reminded me of chunky tomato soup. My quesadilla wasn't completely melted and was overly drippy (possibly pork juice, not cheese grease). Pathetic service and inconsistent taste... Qdoba woburn has pathetic staff, which do not care for customer order and are just trying to dump the things in bowl very fast even listing to the order. I order for 2 veg bowl with same option and gal was just hurrying to finish order and not listen. To my order. My order was to go and once I reached home I could see all my sauce were missing. Maybe if I had experienced Qdoba prior to Chipotle, this review might have been three stars, but admittedly, I am using the Chipotle down the road as my frame of reference of chain/fastfood type burrito joints. My fave item at Chipotle is the veggie burrito/bowl, so I was thrilled to see that Qdoba actually had a grilled veggie burrito (hooray! A Vegetarian Burrito that isn't an afterthought!). So I immediately stepped up an ordered the burrito, but really wanted the bowl, but the menu was a bit difficult to get at first glace. Totally my bad for not asking, but I'm guessing many people like me will just assume everything needs to be in a Mexican carb-wrapper of some sort. As I work my way down the line-o-fillings, I notice they put a paltry amount of the "grilled veggies", i.e. grilled zucchini, and completely bypass the peppers and onions! So I was like, woah, can I get those (as it is a grilled veggie burrito and all), and they informed me that it would cost extra....seriously, veggies would cost extra on a VEGETARIAN BURRITO?? Oh well, so I tried to move past it, gave myself a pep-talk that this may indeed be the best burrito ever, so who was I to jump to conclusions...then came the guacamole. I didn't want cheese, I didn't want sour cream, I just wanted a touch, a smidge of guacamole to top off my veggie burrito, but alas, was told again that it would be extra. Not to play one child against another, but that is INCLUDED in the veggie burrito at Chipotle. And I only asked for a bit, but yet the charged me the entire extra amount for my scant tablespoon of green love. After leaving a bit pissy, I wanted to at least give the burrito a fair shake, but it was just...eh. Those pricey peppers and onions were practically raw and left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively. A team of us went there tonight for dinner and the eatery staff handled us well. We ate steak, chicken, and pork burritos, both hard and soft shelled tacos, and plenty of chips. This place is not for those who have anywhere to get to. It took me almost 10 minutes to get a salad just now...I was the only one in line mind you. There was one person covering food prep and register, while two others wandered around the back doing nothing meaningful. Rating Qdoba is difficult because I'm not sure what to compare it with. Compared to Mcdonalds and other fast food places, Qdoba is head and shoulders above them because the ingredients are relatively fresh and somewhat healthy. However, compared with Chipotle, Qdoba burritos seem kind of bland. read more

I'm surprised this place has such low ratings. I had a great experience, for a chain Mexican Food Restaurant... I ordered online and when I got there, I wanted to change my order. They did it without complaining. I got a "menu for two" or something if that nature. I had the steak nachos and a bowl of tortilla soup. I had enough food with the nachos and had to the take the soup, to go. Oh me, Oh my Nachos were yummy! The tortilla soup was salty but, then again.... it's tortilla soup with a ton of individually cooked ingredients and, well, Mexican food. My boyfriend got a Quesadilla and it was GINORMOUS! It had plenty of cheese and meat. Avocado and sour cream. Price was reasonable and sodas have refill. The place was clean, too. That was pleasantly surprising. Overall, I like Q'doba! read more

We had Qdoba cater a party for our son and 20 or so of his friends at our home. We ordered the "naked burrito" bar, and added on tortillas, queso, and fajita veggies. The young woman who delivered the order was prompt and professional, and had the whole burrito bar assembled in 15 minutes. The food was hot and fresh and plentiful - we had leftover even after hungry teenagers made several trips back for more. The price (which includes chafing pans to keep the food warm, as well as plates, napkins, and plastic forks, spoons, and serving utensils) was very reasonable. Today September 17 at 9:45pm I entered this restaurant they were 15 minutes from closing but my presence did not phase them. they serve me with a smile gave me extra portion when I asked for it and provided me with a great service. I asked for iced tea they do not have any other than the bottled iced tea and after sitting down for a moment one of the employees came up and gave me freshly made iced tea from outback. For me this was something that an employee went above and beyond. Upon leaving this restaurant I had to give five stars to the employees of the qdoba Mexican Grill. i have to say i actually enjoy the food here, and i go to this location a lot because i work so close. i'd say the last 5 years i've been going consistently and i loved the old manager he was always friendly and the staff seemed happy. unfortunately i will not be going back because of the service, every time i walk in the last year or so its either an eye roll or just being ignored while they all continue to talk to each other or be on there phone right in front of me.... Im a vegetarian and i had a coupon for one of there new meat promotions and when i came in i asked before i ordered if i could still use it if i got no meat, the woman said she would put it on the side for me because technically you do have to get the meat. so she was nice and accommodating but when i went to pay and handed the assistant manager woman my coupon she got upset and told me i couldn't use it because the meat wasn't on my dish when i tried to explain what the woman had made my food told me she just talked over me and called her over and proceeded to yell at her in front of me and say it was not ok. i told her it was not the woman's fault and i didn't think it would be such an issue since they actually save money by me not adding the meat, but i ended up payed full price. Awkward setup. The line is backwards when you enter the restaurant and have to pass through the line. Chairs are very uncomfortable. The restaurant lacks ambiance. Food is kind of blah and a bit pricey. This is my first time here and will likely be my last. I prefer Chipotle. read more

FIRST TIME, LAST TIME. The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. They clearly cannot handle lunch rush, the line was out the door and they were taking one person at a time through the line instead of having multiple people working the station (like Chipotle does, cough cough..) Last time I checked that's not how a buffet style chain restaurant operates. The cashier was AMAZINGLY RUDE, I had an online order and she told me it wasn't ready when it really was, she just didn't bother to check the name on the bag efficiently enough. When she finally called me over (like a dog, "come here") she tells me that my card was declined because it was expired (which it wasn't, brand new card in which the exp. date was mis-entered.) I also don't understand why I wasn't notified of a card decline during the online order, not when I got there. The whole purpose of ordering online is so that I can AVOID waiting. People want to get their lunch and get back to work, not everybody has all day to stand around and deal with poor customer service. I had to go outside, get my card, shove back through the massive line, all to get up to the register and have this chick stare at me like she had never seen me before in her life and go to take someone else's order! Outraged, I had to intervene and make her take my payment so that I could finally leave. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Never will see my face in this establishment again and don't understand why anyone else would deal with that. Save yourself the pain and go down the street to Chipotle, the line could be three times as long as it is at Qdoba and you'll still get out of there quicker. read more
