The food taste like trash and the customer service is so trash it left the window and they have a $2 fee on every order plus the tax. The rice tastes like burn and un cooked , I order steak medium rare they gave me a burn steak and the salad taste old and not fresh. I placed an order over the phone after I got there asking for my order they told me that the order was never placed. After asking for them to place my order since they never took it over the phone they refused to do so they said that they will not Place an order because they do not know where I placed it and that it was a waste of food. I requested to speak to the person in charge and she was a complete jerk no customer service whatsoever she refused to give me her name. Another nice young lady came from the kitchen and took the order for me which I appreciate, the manager called her out on it because she took my order She said and I quote " I would have not taken the order for her she can go pick it up where she placed it" I place orders here all the time and it's very disappointing to come across such disrespectful and rude personal, zero customer service. read more

The tacos were inexpensive n simple but cooked and seasoned very well. The Ceviche was also well seasoned and spicy. My friend had tried the enchiladas which he raved about entire ride home. The location is very small; seating is very limited, but the do have additional seats at the bar (no alcohol is served). The servers seem to be taking care of other kitchen duties and sometimes lack attention to the customer. They are pretty prompt attending you as soon as you sit down. The fried fish is missing a little bit of flavor. The steak is packed with flavor in every single bite. The pupusas aren't the best I have ate, but if you are not use to eating this oh will love them. The chicharon sometimes isn't fried long enough. The tostadas; so far my favorite is the carnitas (shredded pork); when eating them make sure you eat over your plate. So this was a nice surprise.. my husband met the owner and he provided him a free lunch. He came home to tell me about it and we tried it. He says its tasty and fresh. I do not eat meat but they do have a vegeterian burrito, salads and a few sides for me. They are accomodating if you want to swap out sides too. It was busy when we arrived but it's not a fancy place so the guests dont stay long. There is minimal parking but also street parking near by. The guac and salsa was very flavorful. As a fellow Lawrencian (if thats how you even word it) I enjoy coming to this spot once in a while.. sometimes after a night of drinking. The food here is really good and usually comes out in a timely manner. I either get the pupusas revueltas or any tortas (preferable chicken.) The location is very sketchy and parking usually sucks, but I enjoy the food here as a Guatemalan myself. read more

When my girlfriend and I walk it it seemed to not be as busy but none of the waitresses were around. We promptly sat down and it took about 15 minutes for someone to greet us and hand us menus. The table was dirty and when given silverware it was to. The food came in large portions which was great but the food was very bland. We basically empty out the salt bottle by the time we left. I went there for the first time yesterday and I was not happy with the way the woman at the register treated me. She seemed to be in a bad mood, when I asked her how much the pupusas were, she replied in a bad way that the price was in the menu and turned around and left. When the pupusas were ready, she placed them on the counter and announced that they were ready, she made no attempt to make eye contact with me or address me to let me know my order was ready, I'm not sure if she is the owner or an employee but either way she should learn to treat people in a respectful way, I am a very humble and respectful person and I treat people right and expect to be treated in the same manner, as for the pupusas, they were okay, no complaint there... thanks for reading my review of this place. read more

My bf got the the plato Montañero which came with sweet fried plantain, rice with a perfectly fried egg on top (yokey perfection), chicharron and thin perfectly grilled steak!!! Sooo good, their pico de gallo was really good as well and usually pico isn't anything to rave about! I had two tacos one with chorizo and other with pastor. They add chopped onions and you can add spicy sauce or pico as well. All in all our meal was affordable: a whole plate of food and 4 tacos ended up being almost $30 including drinks!!!
