This is a much-loved PV place with one of my former coworkers who lives nearby. I never had noticed it before but have been around in the area plenty of times.... Which is weird because they have a massively tall and bright yellow door that greets you at the entrance just off the street corner. There is plenty of parking that wraps around the building, and also behind with the connecting Trader Joe's. Once you complete the workout of opening the door, you're greeted with really cute modern decor and a beautiful glass wine closet. They have a really good happy hour menu- lots of food and bev options for all (beer, wine AND liquor). $5 beer, $7 wine and cocktails, and $7 food specials. Our group had a variety of bites and drinks- meatballs, garlic knots, caprese and a couple of pizzas (the Meat Me & My Margherita). My first drink was The Fiftyone which is a newer drink, I didn't see it on their online menu. SUPER refreshing. Another coworker and I ordered an aperol spritz after and it was ok... youre best off ordering a house cocktail. The bread was a life saver for the delish cocktails. Our only concern was how warm it was inside during summer... like there was very little air flow. The bathroom was worse. Came here with a friend after a hike and it was a great choice. We couldn't decide between a couple of items so we shared. We got the short rib sandwich and the gotchu burger. The short rib sandwich was like a French dip since it came with au jus although it wasn't on French bread. The cheese blend and caramelized onions were tasty. And the fries woah. I love how thick cut they were. I wanted more of them on my plate. The gochu (sp?) burger was awesome as well. It had a fried egg and a tasty sauce with a half pound brisket patty and fries. I've been coming to this area a lot and I've always said that I wanted to try this place out so today we did. The outside looks cool and inviting. I've never seen an entrance door looks so big and cool. As soon as we walked in the greeted us cordially and sat us down right away. The inside looks very nice and plenty of seating. Happy hour every day which is nice. I ordered the bottomless mimosas and my boy ordered a sangria. Can't go wrong with mimosas and the sangria tasted great. We had the half salad and pizza special. The wedge was the perfect size and good flavor. The dressing was a roasted red pepper ranch and was tasty. I got the meat me piazza and it was tasty as well. I like all crust and this was a thin crust. It was light and the sauce was perfect. I'd go back to try other dishes and more happy hour. Came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We started out on the patio which is small but nice. Moved inside because it started to rain. Inside was open and modern, had a good vibe. I had the pizza of the month and hubby had the Meat Me. He said his was really tasty. Mine was Magic Mushroom, added spinach, it was yummy. We both ate all of it. I had wine, he had margaritas. Atop a the salad is a plethora of ingredients including dried tomatoes, dates, artichokes, cucumber, pepperoni, mozzarella, and pistachios. Definitely made for sharing if you're planning to order this. For our flatbread with went with the Meat Me & Paradise Pie. The Meat Me was topped with pepperoni, italian sausage, and spicy meatballs while the Paradise Pie was topped with pepperoni, spinach, italian sausage, mushrooms, and red onions. The flatbread was warm and doughy, but with a crusty bed. Overall, a solid bite I would say! In the end, PV Pie & Wine has some stuff going for them. Yesterday a very good friend of mine had her birthday brunch here. I've been here a lot - I'd say 10 times. It's beautiful inside - the seating is nice it's open the bar is great. The food is tasty there are a lot of options for everyone. Vegan friendly, vegetarian friendly, or not. I will say I don't care for the fact that they do not have fountain drinks. But my reason for this review is the service. Yesterday, when we got there all of the servers seemed to be confused about the brunch. but things were set up so we all just went and sat down. It started off ok. but when we started to order that's where things went all wrong. One we had 2 servers. 1 was fine. nothing over the top but fine. Now the 2nd server. with respect I'm leaving out the name. She was rude, unfriendly, and beyond annoyed by everything and made that VERY apparent. Every time we asked for something nothing was brought. We asked many times for salt/ pepper, sauces, our check or boxes. you would have thought that we asked her to go for a run and then bring us all this. She rolled her eyes many times at requests. when the food came she would just stand at the end of the table yelling "who had the waffles" people were asking questions to make sure it was theirs - this was also a huge issue for her. she was snappy and rude when someone would ask. This is so unprofessional and just awful service. Being stressed is one thing but being rude is a whole other thing. I will say most all the times I come here the service is a little off but this time was just truly something where everyone of us at the table there was 20 - 30 of us were all baffled by the awful service. Especially for someone ls birthday. So I wish that had been better. maybe stepping the service up a bit would really be a good idea because this place is delicious and a great place. read more

They have a variety of seating options; inside, outside, inside next to an open window, at the bar, etc. it's not too loud so you can actually have a good conversation. The menu is good and at lunch they have a great half salad and half a pizza for a good price. It was plenty of food and I took away a good snack for later. Good vegetarian options on pizza and salads. My colleague ordered the beet salad and was very pleased. Service was friendly. My only ding is that the poor bartender had to cover the tables where we sat and he was busy. Kudos to him for keeping the pace and I hope they get more help. Will definitely go back. read more

They serve a variety of pies and the only downside is when they run out of a pie you love. My personal favorites are the chocolate cream and coconut cream pies. They're amazing. My fiancé asked for a pizza with half pepperoni and half cheese, and they said they could get him the pepperoni pizza and only put it on half so he half sounds good. After that whole conversation they still ended up putting pepperoni on the whole pizza haha. I got the go green pizza which was pesto and lots of veggies on top! The crust was crispy and all of the toppings were super fresh and tasty. My poor fiancé could not say the same as his pizza was way undercooked and he could barely hold a slice to eat it because it was so floppy. Mine didn't have that issue though. I came here for a quick bite with my aunt while visiting her in Phoenix. The pizza was good, and the portions were the perfect size. Our server was wonderful: personable, attentive, and quick to find answers for our questions.
