I was told to check out Puttshack by another Yelp eliter. She was not wrong. While there was some initial sticker shock, unlimited golf was $25/person, it seemed more reasonable once I knew there were 4 courses to play. Play 9 holes on one course, get a text to schedule your next course. Keep popping around between the two floors and make a day of it. The technology was on point. The only time it glitched was when I went too quick and didn't give the system a chance to recognize my ball. Otherwise, tee off, finish the hole and make way for the next person. I was there on a Sunday night and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes between 9's. I'll definitely be on the lookout for these whenever I travel.

So much fun! It was hot out so this place being indoors definitely was a good move! The mini golf was worth it and the place is small but well laid out as plenty of people can enjoy the courses with how they organize tee times. The service was great and I enjoyed some old fashioned cocktails while playing. Would definitely recommend this place for you or group events.

This is one of the best mini golf courses I have ever been to. I highly recommend getting the unlimited because there are four mini golf courses. The service has been great and everybody has been helpful. The balls are tied to your name so you don't have to keep track of your own points. The technology is pretty amazing as it keeps everyone's score for you on the TV screens. The courses are unique and super fun to play. It's pretty spacious as it has two floors. There are too many golf courses on each floor and each floor has a bar.

Indoor fun for all ages. There's 4 courses and 2 bars expanding over 2 floors. On Saturday nine holes was $15 per person but if you go Sunday-Friday they have unlimited golf for $25. Definitely make reservations ahead of time so you're not waiting a long time when you get there.

This is our second visit to Puttshack. The first was in Georgia. At that location, there were also 4 courses but 2 of them were just mirrors of the others. Here there are similar holes but also unique holes to each course it seems. We did the $20 All You Can Golf deal ($10 for under 12) and it was so worth it. Came on a Monday afternoon around 4pm so it fell right within Happy Hour (M-F from 3 to 6pm). Did one course, then sat in the restaurant and filled up on HH food which was Bao Buns, Onion Dip with Chips, Chicken Quesadillas and Loaded Tots. Each of these were $6 and for our party of 4 adults + 3 small kids it was a nice spread where everyone found something they liked. There are also drinks on HH including Gin & Juice cans and 16oz draft beers. We then went through the rest of the 4 courses after eating and it filled our night without being too late to get our little ones home. We finished by about 10pm even with the kids taking a long time to golf.

First time coming and this is a super fun upgrade to mini golf. Having the ball keep score with all the tech is awesome, and you get your stats at the end. My wife and I came for her birthday & we had a great time. It seemed a little cramped on the course at certain times because we had a couple larger parties playing ahead so it didn't feel like there was a lot of room to move around. Definitely would come again though.

Time to play an updated version of golf!! You can play the 9 funky holes, listen to some fun music and eat some good bites!! This place totally reminds me of the 80's with its neon colors and vibes. Take your family out for an evening of fun and laughs! Guaranteed to be a fun time.

We stopped into Puttshack in-between soccer games to get out of the heat and do something low key and fun. It was a good choice. If you like mini golf but hate keeping score and hate carrying around the little pencil, this is right up your alley. All the points and everything are tracked by your specifically assigned ball. The large screens on each hole display the total scores and show you bonuses you earned as well. There are four different 9 hole courses (2 downstairs and 2 upstairs) and depending on how crowded it is, it takes about 20-25 minutes to get through each course. All indoor and air conditioned too, which is a plus for Arizona. The other good thing is the on screen guidance also has a shot clock to keep things moving along and automatically directs you to the next hole and gives you the line up of the golfers. We played the Ember course. The game ambassadors at each course start station are really nice and helpful, especially in the chance something goes wrong (like a ball gets stuck or gets shot over to another course or the score didn't count the right amount of strokes). The kiosks were down the day we went but the manager was also incredibly welcoming and helped troubleshoot our reservation issue. It is a little pricier than traditional mini golf, so get your monies worth and go on a day where you can get their "all you can putt" pass. Go through all the course to get a good feel for them, get some and drinks there, and then go for a few more rounds. Really fun date idea. They also do happy hour for the food and drinks. You can also sometimes find them on Groupon. Park in the garage directly across from the front door entrance for free. It can be tough to get through the streets there, especially if they are having events. We will definitely be back, it's a great summer activity to add to the list of local things to do when it's too hot outside.

Weekday $20 unlimited play is the way to go! My group of 3 was able to play all 4 courses and did a 5th game before we called it a day. SO much fun!

Four of us came here last Saturday night around 7:30pm. We did not have reservations, but we were able to play 9 holes. You check yourself in and then stand in line at the course you are assigned to. We did not have coupons or any special pricing so it was $14 each for 9 holes, which took a little over 30 minutes once we were able to start. It is popular so there was a wait to start but Puttshack has employees at the beginning of each course, so it is a little spaced out. They have tables at each hole for drinks and purses and they even have purse hooks! The 9 holes we played were quite entertaining. Everything is electronic so there is nothing to figure out or keep score. It was fun to just play the game. Three of us had the top shelf margarita and it was delicious. We were not there during happy hour which I would try to hit next time (Mon-Thurs 3-6) because drinks were a little pricey. But overall it is a fun time.

I remember as a kid playing miniature golf, losing my golf ball, having to keep count of my swings, and the very low tech holes with a random house or character on display at a hole. Now imagine 9 holes with all sorts of modern twists and technology that keep track of your swings for you. Add in some alcohol (or not), and you may have Puttshack! A friend of mine introduced me to Puttshack by giving me a gift card. I have now gone three times, twice with my wife and once with several friends. Puttshack is a bar, restaurant, and mini golf all in one. The first floor has the bar/restaurant and two of the 9-hole courses. The other two 9-hole courses are upstairs. You reserve a game online and then when you arrive, you find your group on the list of upcoming games to find out with course you are on. I have been lucky and now played 3 of the 4 courses though often, it sounds like people can get assigned the same course over multiple visits. You receive a ball that is specifically tied to you and when you are up, your name and progress is on a screen that everyone can see. There is a "hole in 1" option for extra points. The best part of the game is how engaging every hole is. During the day, there are a lot of kids, and during the evening, the drinks are plentiful. On weekdays and early in the day on weekends, there is rarely ever a wait to go to the next hole. If it is busy, you may need to wait for a few minutes. Enjoy looking at the details as there are a lot of them. Even the bathrooms are decorated. If you go to https://www.puttshack.com/perks, you can often see some promotions like Buy One, Get One Free. In fact, all January on weekdays, you can use the code 18FOR9 for Buy One, Get One Free games. If you sign up for the mailing list, you get a free 9-hole game for your birthday month. Feel free to use Coryaps965 as a referral code when you do so...thanks! If you are paying full price, it's typically $14 per game per person. There are also gift card deals during the year. For instance, at Black Friday, if you buy $50 in gift cards, you get $10 in gift cards free. What are you waiting for!? Show your younger self how cool mini golf can be!!

However, every time we visited in the past, we had a great experience--until this last visit. We made a reservation for 7:45 PM but didn't get seated until 8:30 PM. While this isn't terrible, it can be challenging when you have a little one with you, but it's to be expected as a parent. Once we were at our table, we ordered drinks and food for the kids. My wife ordered a cocktail, and I opted for an Old Fashioned. The kids ordered pasta and a cheese pizza. This is when things started to go downhill. The pasta was okay, but the pizza had a few hairs on it--more than one, in fact. This made us uncomfortable, so we informed the waiter, and they addressed the issue promptly. As we waited for the new pizza, our drinks arrived, and they were nicely presented. However, while sipping my Old Fashioned, I noticed something unusual in my drink--Tajin. Curious, I asked the waiter if this was a special variation of the Old Fashioned. She replied no, so I pointed out the issue in my glass, and she confirmed she saw the Tajin as well. I felt she was treating it as if it was acceptable, which it clearly wasn't, so I looked at her, signaling that I would like a new drink. (I wish I had taken pictures.) Following that, our main dishes started to arrive. My wife ordered a wagyu steak, and I had the pork loin. Unfortunately, we began to analyze everything after the earlier mishaps, and the vibe of the experience was completely lost. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the pizza that had hair on it and the drink that had the issue. With all that being said, I've decided I will no longer be dining here.

We got lucky and secured one in the middle of the dinner rush, which meant we were able to eat at prime time at a local favorite. We arrived a bit early, so we stopped by the bar for cocktails and ordered the Paloma Spritz and the El Matador. I am not usually a cocktail person since many tend to be too sweet, but the bartender made an effort to tone down the sweetness, which I appreciated. For food, we ordered the soft pretzels with provolone dip, which is apparently a must-have, along with the spicy shrimp crispy rice and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pretzels and cheese did not disappoint. The pizza was solid for a Detroit-style pie, with dough that was airy and light rather than dense. The spicy shrimp crispy rice was good (My pic shows two pieces, but the dish comes with four. I forgot to take a picture before we started eating). The rice itself was done very well, though I would have preferred a bit more spice and no mint garnish. And the monkey bread and ice cream rounded the meal off just right. I know Culinary Dropout is a small chain, but if I get another opportunity to visit another location, I would definitely check it out if the experience is as good as this one.

We wish we could remember her name to give her credit! On May 12th, one in our party received a filthy menu. When the menu was taken to the front desk, the reply was that the menu was wet from a water glass. HUMM, no one on our table had been given water yet! Then it was, "oh it is the menu sanitizer", REALLY? No apologies. Off to go wash hands...cool, modern bathroom! Some of the food highlights from our 2 dinners: The pigs in a blanket came with a tasty honey mustard dip. The prosciutto deviled eggs were delicious, but salty and I didn't think all the saltiness came from the finely diced prosciutto. The chopped chicken salad was a hearty portion and had a nice mix of contents. The chicken katsu sandwich was a really good concept/idea with a great execution. The prime rib dip was very tender, the bread was soft, and the sandwich was not any saltier than what is offered elsewhere. The spicy rigatoni had a little kick, wonderfully elevated comfort food. A perfect stick to your ribs Italian dish!. The monkey bread was raved about and devoured.
