This is such an interesting experience and very different from putt putt. I expected to have windmills and crazy obstacles but this was a true form putting green style place. Purchased a Groupon for prime rib dinner and 18 holes of golf. Very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff! Everyone was super helpful and speedy. Food was excellent and a special shout out to the horseradish sauce! The lava cake was a bit dry, but overall a great selection. The course was simple to follow and very convenient with all of the tables. Plenty of putter selection and tvs to keep you entertained. On our next visit we'll be sure to check out the simulator! My friends and I recently returned here for trivia night. They absolutely love coming here for the different evening games they offer and this time I joined. My friend started it off by ordering the coconut shrimp. She really enjoyed them and they tasted fantastic. They were super sweet and coconuty, almost tasting like a Thai coconut chicken curry. My other friend got the grilled cheese sandwich and nacho chips. They both loved their meals and had no complaints. I ordered the grilled chicken strips with sweet potato fries and love them. The chicken strips had a great breading on them which had a lot of good spice and flavor. The sweet potato fries were great as well and paired perfectly with the ranch. We had the upper deck for a team building experience for work. There was probably about 20+ of us when we got there around 4. It was hot in the middle of summer, I thought I would cool down after a moment to relax and chat with my team. We went down to play. while it was cooler It was so hot many of us were peeling off layers and pulling up our hair and wiping our foreheads with napkins fanning ourselves with score cards. A couple guys slicked Back their hair with sweat. I finally complained and the owner was more willing to accommodate the guests then then people working there it seemed. we walked by the thermostat and it was 78 on the bottom floor. That's how hot it is at night in August in Arizona. It's a shame they treat their employees that way, and it's even worse that a company spending money at that level Has to come in and ask for the thermostat to be turned down to a reasonable level. When asked at the end of the night we were accommodated by that time we were ready to go. Our first visit to PW. 4 of us arrived around 5pm 1/16 there were 7 people there. We checked in and went to order drinks. The bartender was very nice, she accidentally made the wrong drinks and noticed so she started over which was fine but overall it took a good 15 minutes to get 2 beers and 2 drinks. We ordered food from the happy hour menu wings were good, nachos were ok. The putting area is very small, we all made hole in ones which was fun but could be more challenging so $30 is really steep for the experience. We went back to the bar to order another round (2 people at the bar now) the bartender was busy making drinks for them and two other servers were at the back counter talking, not noticing the bartender was busy, they noticed us but didn't make an attempt to help her out. In what world does a 2 oz. pour cost that much? It was $28 plus a $4 upcharge just for calling the brand. Ridiculous. The Prime Rib came out cold (though it was a big portion), and the salad was just okay. We get that there's an upcharge for premium liquor, but $28 for a martini? Great place for me to practice my putting, so I bought a monthly membership. The "Speedzone" is often open and where I practice my lag/distance putting. Greens roll true as they prep them often to counter the foot traffic. Food and beverages are strong and the people who work there are extremely helpful.
