This has become a staple for the kiddos and I when we come to Scottsdale Quarter. The outdoor tables are perfect for post splash pad bites. I'm a big fan of the veggie burger even though I'm not vegetarian. I get it about half the time. This most recent time, I got the west coast chicken sandwich with grilled chicken. The last time we were in Scottsdale we went to Zinburger for dinner one night and it was delicious! We're back in Scottsdale so we went again! We had a reservation and were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. Our server came over, brought us water, and explained that everything is fresh and made from scratch so it was easy to mix things up if we wanted to. We made our own choices and chatted while we waited for the food. The burgers are BIG - neither one of us finished them. We shared a side of onion rings and didn't finish those either. I visited zinburger during dinner time while my son had batting practice. As I was walking in, I notice a 2 person high top on the patio, it looked like the perfect people watching spot. The weather that evening was gorgeous. I was greeted right away by the hostess. I told her I'd like to sit on the patio at the 2 person high top, she had someone clean it off right away. Their high top chairs that they have on the patio are not very comfortable at all. For a larger person, they would not completely fit on that chair. My waitress Nicole was bubbly and friendly. I ordered a 6oz glass of rose and their spicy tuna lettuce cups, this was delicious!!! I ended my dinner with another 6 oz glass of rose before having to go pick up my son from practice. Once I reviewed the bill, I noticed that I was charged for two 9 oz glasses of rose instead of two 6 oz glasses of rose. I brought this to my waitress attention. She apologized but didn't offer to do anything to fix her mistake. I thought this was poor customer service. I got a bad taste in my mouth from this unfortunate ending to my experience. She didn't really seem to care about the mistake. Part of me was thinking she did this on purpose so my bill would be higher. I say that because she didn't offer anything to me for the mistake and it took her forever to return to my table after dropping off my bill. This was a red flag. The first bite of the Zinberg is a masterpiece. I can see why their signature namesake burger would be a top choice! The caramelized onions are out of this world. The bun perfectly does not get in the way of the well made burger. Parmesan fries not to be at all under any circumstances because they're outstanding. But food wise we ordered: basic burger but sub for turkey patty Asian salad farm salad and side of fries The turkey burger was good and flavorful but the bottom of the bun was soo wet and slippery was a mess to eat unfortunately..the side of fries were good as always and farm salad was very tasty!! Came here Friday afternoon around 1pm. For seated right away on the patio. Ordered a beer and frozen margarita. Got the el Diablo burger and Asian chicken salad with an order of loaded cheese fries. Down to the buffalo wings with turnips excuse me radishes sans buffalo these wings were sweeter than BBQ wings ...... the chicken sandwich with zero flavor and ready to expire buns... my sodas tasted not like Coke Zero but like watered down fizzles Faygo. The guy oh I think we need to change your soda machine packet and I go oh you didn't think to change it before for forgiving me this flat soda. Or probably because they realized they were about to spend $70 on burgers that Makes the burgers at sonic seem gourmet! I definitely see Sonic getting a Michelin star before Zinburger ever does! Much more importantly and honestly, what compelled me to write this review is to warn those who may consider dining here to be mindful that if you happen to mistakenly leave any personal items such as eye ware (fashionable non-prescription glasses) or even perhaps your purse or wallet__you just may NOT get it back; although you (suddenly realize) and immediately contact the restaurant to inform them of your loss, and THEIR staff has you describe your glasses in detail as verification; then the confirmation is stated "yes we have your glasses" But the very next morning (upon opening) when I returned to the restaurant to retrieve them___The manager "Jason" acts quite dismissive and rude claiming my "glasses were not there!" My wife and I recently were craving a good burger so we thought we'd try out the Zinburger at the Scottsdale Quarter and make a night out of it. We had only ever eaten a to-go burger from there, so it was exciting to make a reservation via Open Table and to head out there for a weekend date night. We have been to the Scottsdale Quarter many times and appreciate the many options for where to park in structures nearby. We arrived early before our reservation to check out the bar as several of the cocktails sounded quite intriguing. We were surprised there were only eight seats at the entire bar, though when we sat down, the bartender staff were helpful and served us each a delicious cocktail. I got a frozen concoction while my wife got a fruity one. They were impressively served in only a few minutes. We finished the drinks at our table, which was ready right on time. For a weekend night, the host stand didn't seem too busy though most of the tables were filled. Our server was great! He took the time to get to know us and not only brought us a very tasty appetizer (Soft Pretzels and Cheese) that we ordered in only a few minutes, but he came back a bit later with a second one saying that it was accidentally made, and he wanted to see if we wanted it on the house. How exciting! I ordered a Classic Diner Burger while my wife got the All-American Veggie Burger (and we each got fries). Again, we enjoyed it a lot, though it was filling and we each had some leftovers for the next day. After all, we had to save some room for a shared piece of pie that was also delicious! The pie was the only thing that seemed to take quite a while to be delivered. Everything else was very timely. Even a manager stopped by to check on us and our meal. Overall good burgers. My biggest con is that fries are not included which is kind of crazy for a burger place and the prices. You have to pay extra to have fries as a side and so we did and we're not impressed with the cheese fries majority of the cheese was not melted and there was just sour cream more as flavoring. But the smash burger was yummy and our waitress was nice! The hostess could've been friendlier but I believe the manager checked in and he was very kind!! Super causal eatery with a fun outdoor patio that is dog friendly! We usually come for the salads as they are hearty and delicious! I always go with them salad with added seared tuna- it's fresh and loaded with fun ingredients! The tuna is a good portion and a nice source of healthy protein. My partner got the wedge with chicken- which is a delicious wedge (as one expects). They have delicious shakes too- although I find them too decadent! I did enjoy their frozen though! But the place looks cool and they had cool booth with a nice cushion to sit in. Fair warning you have to make a reservation to have a booth for the evening dining . Other wise you would have to sit in the middle and sit on a chair with no cushion and from the looks of it , it's design to have customers leave sooner... fro What I see. So I order the the $33 plate for 2 . Which offers you 2 entrée Fires we got the sweet potato 2 beverage Zinburger which was great and the California burger blow. . For all of this for only for $33 dollars which was a great deal!! Because with all of this comes to over $50 dollars. We sat at the bar and the bartenders get out out if you want a drink. We tried to order wings and were told it would be 45 mins. It was later and the place was not crowded. Neither bartender wanted to check if we could get wings faster. I understand a full meal but an appetizer at a bar that is half full. Went here for our girls dinner and this place is okay... The restaurant had a lot of families with young kid, so it was very loud and over crowded. Our server was very nice and very attentive. He made sure to stay close to us when we were speaking so that he could hear us. I personally got the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich and shared zucchini fries with my sister. The chicken was very tender and had a beautiful crispy exterior and the buffalo sauce was amazing! I just wish that the zucchini fries were also crispy they were a disappointment. I was impressed by a lot about this resturant. From the start we had fantastic service. Our server was Marco and we loved him. Ashleigh the manager was equally as friendly and we really loved chatting with her when she stopped by our table to check on things!! The two of them were very personable. Food was over the top delicious!! We had the turkey burger, Diablo burger, and Santa Fe burgers and I was very pleased for someone who is very picky about my burgers. The others were non-burger lovers that ended up loving theirs. We will definitely be back for the food. We had a snickers shake, an Oreo shake, and a chocolate pie as well which also did not dissapointed! The ambiance was great too and we loved the cows on the wall. A couple challenges prevent a full five stars - first, the price point two basic cheeseburgers, one order of onion rings order fries with tax and tip - $53. That's a little spendy for what you get. Second they put the burger sauce/thousand island on the bottom bun so by the time you get home the bottom bun is flimsy and the whole thing just kind of falls apart when you try to eat it. They should put that stuff on top of the burger. read more
