$19.00 martini as served. About an inch short of the rim.

Wow. Food okay. Server okay. TINY $19.00 Martini and a flat skunky beer. Salt grinder broken and spilled salt all over the table and plates. Great time playing miniature golf though. One and done.

The food was really good. Typical pub food. The server was great. She was really nice. The drinks were good too. Not too strong not too weak. The food came out HOT. Only thing is it's one team per hole and you have to wait until the party in front of you finishes. It can hold you up if it crowded. Only thing I didn't like. It was my first time, I didn't know what to expect. But I'd go back. It's a little pricey. I was able to catch a deal so I think I paid about $60 for my family of 4.

I've been meaning to check this spot out for the longest time since I've heard such good things! You make your time slot reservation online and check-in at the kiosk when you get there. You pick your putter and they give you your ball to play. There's a bar in the main area so you're welcome to purchase your beverage before starting your game. There's multiple courses and they're super fun and different than your usual mini golf course. There's a lot of tech involved so that the ball keeps track of your strokes and your score. It's affordable and such a fun activity to do with friends and family.

So this is really a pricey experience for what you get. I believe if they had better promotions we would visit a lot more. However my son does love it here. Many courses and we love how the electronic scoring works.

3.9.. Love the coat check option when you first walk in. The bar area is busy and great options. Most of the bar tenders were pleasant. Lots of seating areas around the golfing. I do feel that reservations for the golf should be a thing. (This is not a place or time to perfect your leisure skill) It was pretty crowded despite the constant moving in each golf area. People navigating selves, children, and drinking adults can make for a haphazard. There needs to be more structure in this area especially depending on how large your party is. The food my friends reported was good. The grill shrimp I actually tasted. Great grill flavor and presentation. The drinks were delicious and not too expensive. I feel like I would return for drinks and food.

This is a good hangout. A little putt putt while doing some gulp gulp, perhaps followed by some chomp chomp while yap yap with your posse or date, or both. Face it, we all need a loud atmosphere with food, fun, and music every now and then. A place to forget about your work week and let loose. If I let loose my pant button pops open...sorry. Don't sleep on their food, they really incorporated some nice plates from around the globe within their sharables. They have great salads and flatbreads too. If there is one pet peeve that my friends get tired of hearing about, it is the people stacking up behind you, waiting for you to finish your hole. This may be unavoidable with mini golf. Fortunately the type of crowd in Puttshack are more patient, happy..or maybe slightly boozed up, and thats cool. This is surely something you should try at least once.

We had a gift card and a visitor from out of the country. This was the perfect reason to pay a visit. Our group had five and two of them were children. We walked in without advance reservations on a Saturday afternoon but we were able to secure a booking within the next 20 minutes for the 9-hole game. We had a fun experience although it can feel a bit rushed when there are others waiting behind you. I think we took approximately 30 minutes to finish the game which is not a whole lot of time. We recently had a second visit on a Sunday morning for a birthday party. This was a more ideal experience for us because there was less people and we played at our own pace. This is particularly beneficial for young children who needs a lot of guidance on how to play. The food was served buffet style. We tried the pepperoni and cheese pizza, fried chicken bites with Thai chili sauce, fried shrimp, chicken quesadilla, chips and artichoke dip, and tater tots. Everything was the standard fare and served in a timely manner. Party attendees received a voucher to return for a free game. Our daughters had a wonderful time so we will definitely return.

Went here for a birthday party dinner with friends and the food was fantastic! We had the gyro, chicken and waffle and margarita flatbreads. We had Cobb salad and pad thai salad. All were shared and we loved it! Great flavor! Portion sizes were great too! Our server was fantastic! So great and we were taken care of well! Can't wait to go back and hit happy hour!

I just tried Puttshack in Oakbrook for the first time - and it was very fun! The downstairs area when you first walk in is a coat check, and then you take an elevator or the stairs to the actual place. This is an indoor mini golf space, with a bar and restaurant upstairs as well. You can put your groups name on a waitlist on their touch screen computers upstairs, or make a reservation in advance online. There are 9 holes per game that you get to play, the cool part about Puttshack is that the place keeps track of your score for you on screens at every hole through the balls they give you (no old school recording on pencil and paper), which is really convenient if you wanted to keep track of scores with your group. There are also 4 different places inside you can play 9 hole games at, the whole place is really cool to look at the theming of the games and the neon lights are really nice. All of the employees I encountered were pretty friendly and helpful if you had questions on how anything works. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you want to do some mini golf, it's even more fun if you have a group.

It was super fun here it's so cool that the balls track your progress and score so you don't have to, had a great time

I had a great experience at Puttshack! Second time here and this time it was on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty packed which I expected for a few days after Christmas. They have coat check when you walk in. On the second floor is where you do self check-in and then retrieve your balls and clubs. The overall set up is okay. It's a bit confusing especially if it's your first time here. The areas get pretty packed so I do think they should have less reservations arrive at the same time. Nonetheless, the games are fun and exciting and you can sip a drink while playing. I always opt to eat before or after playing, and I've enjoyed the meals I've ordered here. My mom has a few food allergies and the executive chef came to our table to tell her what meals she could safely eat. We were very impressed and grateful for the attention to customer service! Drinks are a little expensive for the place, in my opinion, but somewhere I will definitely come back to!

Wow, it was lively in there! We had a reservation for our large group, but unfortunately, there was a mix-up in their system, which delayed our seating quite a lot on that busy December weekend. As a result, our meals came out a little later than expected. Our waiter was friendly but took some time to get our orders, we received our food around 20 mins after ordering, except for 1 dish, which took quite a while to arrive. We were already running late for our putt-putt golf by the time it came! On the bright side, food was decent & not fast food quality, so it wasn't too bad! We managed to finish about 30-35 mins of putting golf for our 9 holes, which was fun! It's a good round of tech-infused indoor mini golf!

I had such a great time at Puttshack in Oakbrook it's one of those places that's way more fun than you expect. I went there for a party and had a great time. The concept of tech-infused mini golf mixed with food and drinks. Definitely a great spot for a group outing or a celebration!

Ask the Community - Puttshack - Oakbrook

Would this place be good for a nine and seven year old child?

Yes I have those ages and they love it. Expect about 30 min for mini golf and then make a reservation to eat. They love the food too. They also love immersive gamebox which is located in the same mall if you want to book before or after

Looking at photos, it appears there are lots of colorful lights; are any strobe/flashing? Asking as members of the potential party are photosensitive. Thanks.

Not that I can remember. There's definitely a lot of lights at each putt area, but not strobe.

Is this place family friendly for children around 2 years old?

If you go on "off days" and when they first open, taking your little one could be fun but the course is a little challenging for that age range I would say.

Are you able to do walk ins?

They are but depending on how busy, you might have to wait 30mins to two hours (according to the workers). Best reserve a time online

Your website says that it is $12 for one game. How many holes is considered "one game"? Is it really only 9 holes per game?

Yes. Only 9 holes. Takes about 30-45 min to complete with the crowds.

The course was that we were on was fun but if you're a good putter, I don't think it would be that challenging.

It's fairly intuitive as far as tee height, changing your putt lineup, etc. I'm a beginner and have felt comfortable golfing horribly here. The putting green is a nice way to end the day on the way out or if you're not able to be seated immediately- take the chance to practice! ONCE UPON A TIME.......IN LOMBARD…read more This beloved indoor entertainment center is still hanging in there after 40+ years. I'll admit, I didn't have "attend a work outing at Enchanted Castle" on my 2025 bingo card, yet here we are. I found myself reminiscing about birthdays from the past, how many tokens I spent here as a preteen, and what on earth I was doing at a kids entertainment center with a group of engineers. As they've been since 1983, Enchanted Castle on Roosevelt Rd in Lombard is a one-stop shop for fun.  They have party rooms, a large arcade with ticket counter and 7-8 different attractions.  It's like a bigger version of Chuck E Cheese with a medieval theme, a Dave & Busters aimed at kiddos. You can pay for things a la carte, or get a $40 "max pack" that gets you a $15 game card and access to any 3 attractions.  Our large group hit up the arcade, mini golf, laser tag, and go karts.  One staffer helped us out during our time here, and kudos to her for being patient when we couldn't make up our minds on what to do next. I'll start with the best: the go karts ($9/pp).  Although the track itself is small and not terribly exciting, these go karts were peppy and handled well.  You get a decent number of laps, too, and it must be popular enough to warrant having its own dedicated entrance off to the right - Castle Karts. Next came laser tag ($9/pp).  The packs seemed heavy, but the guns were very accurate IMO.  It was a 'capture the flag' objective and despite a small arena, there was just enough space to move around.  They also have Route 66 mini bowling ($5/pp), bumper cars ($5/pp), a scaled down 'Scrambler' type ride ($5/pp), and a playground area with slides ($5/kid). The glow in the dark Black Knight's "Adventure" Golf ($7/pp) was the weak link of the bunch.  9 holes of poorly lit, uninspired putt putt with odd scenery choices - they couldn't decide between skeletons or squires - and lazy hole design led to several in our group bailing partway through.  One girl even twisted her ankle walking around an obstacle!  This is an area that could definitely benefit from a facelift or new attraction. Back in the 90's and early 2000's, Enchanted Castle had a 3D motion theater that played several iWerks films like Dino Island, Alpha One Cowboy, and Red Rock Run.  This wild motion simulator was always the highlight of my visit, but I can't find ANY record of it in web archives..... was this a fever dream?? Their arcade has a mix of new and old, lots of ticket redemption games with flashy shoot-em-ups sprinkled in.  They had Beat Saber VR (for a whopping 24 credits) as well as some vintage games like the one where you use an air cannon to shoot out the clown's teeth.  Many years ago, they had a dedicated area for pinball machines....now they have none.  *sigh* I expected very little from the food and was pleasantly surprised.  The italian beef ($12) was pretty good, no complaints about the fries.  The large appetizer platter ($40) had a little bit of everything: 7 mozza stix, 7 wings, 7 tenders, 12 mini tacos, and 8 pretzel sticks with dipping sauces.  They also had beer on tap @ $6.50 per pint, not too bad. * TL;DR * Enchanted Castle is supposed to be for young'ins, but if you have fun here as a grown-up I won't tell anyone. Being in business for 43 years is no small feat, especially when you consider the sweeping effect COVID had on the realm of indoor entertainment.  I'm amazed (and relieved) that Enchanted Castle's drawbridge has stayed open despite so much volatility in the world.  I don't imagine that the handful of folks we saw on a Thursday afternoon is representative of how much foot traffic EC actually gets. Here's to hoping they have many more years ahead of them, making joyful memories for scores of kids in the western Chicago suburbs.  I'd hate to see an indelible part of my childhood be gone for good. "The handsome prince raced his mighty steed around the go kart track, while the beautiful princess enjoyed several games of Skee-Ball.  And they played happily ever after!"
