The food was really good. Typical pub food. The server was great. She was really nice. The drinks were good too. Not too strong not too weak. The food came out HOT. Only thing is it's one team per hole and you have to wait until the party in front of you finishes. It can hold you up if it crowded. Only thing I didn't like. It was my first time, I didn't know what to expect. But I'd go back. It's a little pricey. I was able to catch a deal so I think I paid about $60 for my family of 4.

I've been meaning to check this spot out for the longest time since I've heard such good things! You make your time slot reservation online and check-in at the kiosk when you get there. You pick your putter and they give you your ball to play. There's a bar in the main area so you're welcome to purchase your beverage before starting your game. There's multiple courses and they're super fun and different than your usual mini golf course. There's a lot of tech involved so that the ball keeps track of your strokes and your score. It's affordable and such a fun activity to do with friends and family.

3.9.. Love the coat check option when you first walk in. The bar area is busy and great options. Most of the bar tenders were pleasant. Lots of seating areas around the golfing. I do feel that reservations for the golf should be a thing. (This is not a place or time to perfect your leisure skill) It was pretty crowded despite the constant moving in each golf area. People navigating selves, children, and drinking adults can make for a haphazard. There needs to be more structure in this area especially depending on how large your party is. The food my friends reported was good. The grill shrimp I actually tasted. Great grill flavor and presentation. The drinks were delicious and not too expensive. I feel like I would return for drinks and food.

This is a good hangout. A little putt putt while doing some gulp gulp, perhaps followed by some chomp chomp while yap yap with your posse or date, or both. Face it, we all need a loud atmosphere with food, fun, and music every now and then. A place to forget about your work week and let loose. If I let loose my pant button pops open...sorry. Don't sleep on their food, they really incorporated some nice plates from around the globe within their sharables. They have great salads and flatbreads too. If there is one pet peeve that my friends get tired of hearing about, it is the people stacking up behind you, waiting for you to finish your hole. This may be unavoidable with mini golf. Fortunately the type of crowd in Puttshack are more patient, happy..or maybe slightly boozed up, and thats cool. This is surely something you should try at least once.

Went here for a birthday party dinner with friends and the food was fantastic! We had the gyro, chicken and waffle and margarita flatbreads. We had Cobb salad and pad thai salad. All were shared and we loved it! Great flavor! Portion sizes were great too! Our server was fantastic! So great and we were taken care of well! Can't wait to go back and hit happy hour!

I just tried Puttshack in Oakbrook for the first time - and it was very fun! The downstairs area when you first walk in is a coat check, and then you take an elevator or the stairs to the actual place. This is an indoor mini golf space, with a bar and restaurant upstairs as well. You can put your groups name on a waitlist on their touch screen computers upstairs, or make a reservation in advance online. There are 9 holes per game that you get to play, the cool part about Puttshack is that the place keeps track of your score for you on screens at every hole through the balls they give you (no old school recording on pencil and paper), which is really convenient if you wanted to keep track of scores with your group. There are also 4 different places inside you can play 9 hole games at, the whole place is really cool to look at the theming of the games and the neon lights are really nice. All of the employees I encountered were pretty friendly and helpful if you had questions on how anything works. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you want to do some mini golf, it's even more fun if you have a group.

I had a great experience at Puttshack! Second time here and this time it was on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty packed which I expected for a few days after Christmas. They have coat check when you walk in. On the second floor is where you do self check-in and then retrieve your balls and clubs. The overall set up is okay. It's a bit confusing especially if it's your first time here. The areas get pretty packed so I do think they should have less reservations arrive at the same time. Nonetheless, the games are fun and exciting and you can sip a drink while playing. I always opt to eat before or after playing, and I've enjoyed the meals I've ordered here. My mom has a few food allergies and the executive chef came to our table to tell her what meals she could safely eat. We were very impressed and grateful for the attention to customer service! Drinks are a little expensive for the place, in my opinion, but somewhere I will definitely come back to!

I had such a great time at Puttshack in Oakbrook it's one of those places that's way more fun than you expect. I went there for a party and had a great time. The concept of tech-infused mini golf mixed with food and drinks. Definitely a great spot for a group outing or a celebration!

Wow, it was lively in there! We had a reservation for our large group, but unfortunately, there was a mix-up in their system, which delayed our seating quite a lot on that busy December weekend. As a result, our meals came out a little later than expected. Our waiter was friendly but took some time to get our orders, we received our food around 20 mins after ordering, except for 1 dish, which took quite a while to arrive. We were already running late for our putt-putt golf by the time it came! On the bright side, food was decent & not fast food quality, so it wasn't too bad! We managed to finish about 30-35 mins of putting golf for our 9 holes, which was fun! It's a good round of tech-infused indoor mini golf!

Although we had some initial trouble getting seated the service was pretty fast and the food was good! Our group of 7 got just appetizers and shared family style!

Came here for a team out and had a blast. The pineapple mezcal drink with the Jalepeno popsicle. SO GOOD AND SMOOTH. Great vibes, decent food and of course the courses are fun and unique.

Have always wanted to try a game of miniature golf. After researching and reading great Yelp reviews, it was decided that we would try the Puttshack in Oakbrook. Now about the vibe, you better be ready!! High energy, upbeat and spirited. Party lighting to set the mood. Cheerful conversations and spontaneous laughter. DJ Kungfu spinning live sounds, good bites and strong pours. Love that the assigned balls are computer generated and follow you at each putt displaying your points on screen next to your name. My husband and I had such a good time, well until my bonus points caused me to win! We ordered an old fashioned and a spicy margarita. My husband thought his drink was just fine. While I was impressed with how visually stunning my drink was. One side of the glass was dipped in hibiscus sugar, while the other side had a candied pineapple slice and a mini jalapeño popsicle. So, yes I was impressed. It also tasted pretty good. Burgers and fries were not too far behind. We ordered the O.G. Burgers; a blend of brisket, chuck AND short rib. Dressed with American cheese, special house sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. They even toasted the brioche bun! O. Yeah. to the O. G. I had to try the Cali-garlic fries and they did not disappoint. No room for dessert. Next time. Looking for a FUN time, the Puttshack is the place. You can also dine in without golfing. The menu is loaded with goodies from burgers to Wood-fired Thai Octopus. There are lots of vegetarian options as well. Hubby wants a rematch so we will be back. Lol.

Lots of fun on a weekday or weekend where it's $14 per person per 9 stations and it will take about 20 min to do the whole thing. On weekdays Mondays to Thursdays you can add a 2nd game for 50% off. You get your own ball that tracks you on the computer and it scores you. You choose your own putter. They have a coat check that optional. It's warm and cozy and you can buy drinks at the 2 different bars. Very nice atmosphere for couples or work events. 21 and up only. They also have food.

Ask the Community - Puttshack - Oakbrook

Would this place be good for a nine and seven year old child?

Yes I have those ages and they love it. Expect about 30 min for mini golf and then make a reservation to eat. They love the food too. They also love immersive gamebox which is located in the same mall if you want to book before or after

Looking at photos, it appears there are lots of colorful lights; are any strobe/flashing? Asking as members of the potential party are photosensitive. Thanks.

Not that I can remember. There's definitely a lot of lights at each putt area, but not strobe.

Is this place family friendly for children around 2 years old?

If you go on "off days" and when they first open, taking your little one could be fun but the course is a little challenging for that age range I would say.

Are you able to do walk ins?

They are but depending on how busy, you might have to wait 30mins to two hours (according to the workers). Best reserve a time online

Your website says that it is $12 for one game. How many holes is considered "one game"? Is it really only 9 holes per game?

Yes. Only 9 holes. Takes about 30-45 min to complete with the crowds.

So make sure you're paying close attention to your GPS when you're heading there. The good news is it's located in a mall area, so there's plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient. The low lighting creates a more intimate vibe, making it a great place for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a relaxed evening meal. The food is consistently good, and the drinks are always on point. This time I ordered the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes, and it was my first time trying that dish there. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the mashed potatoes were a perfect pairing. My friend ordered the pork chop, butterflied and cut open, and she said it was simply amazing. Now let me get to the real reason I keep coming back. The carrot cake. I have had carrot cake from big-name bakeries and small local mom-and-pop spots, and I'm telling you right now, J. We arrived on a Friday night just before 9:00 PM and had no trouble finding street parking--always a win. We were greeted by our waitress, Jennifer, who was absolutely amazing. She let us know about their late-night perk: half-price small plates and select drinks on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 PM until close, which is such a great incentive for heading out later in the evening. Jennifer was attentive without being intrusive--our water glasses were always full, she checked in after every course, and her recommendations for both food and drinks were spot-on. We started with a Mad Rose for V and a Chameleon for me. Both cocktails were delicious, and after finishing his Mad Rose, V definitely felt the celebratory spirit kicking in. For appetizers, we shared the Vietnamese Summer Rolls and Sweet Chili Calamari. The summer rolls were light, fresh, and nicely accented with mint. The calamari was sweet with a surprisingly spicy finish--delicious, though the heat was just a bit much for V. I'd happily order both again. For my main course, I had the Wagyu Beef Stroganoff, and wow--hands down the best stroganoff I've ever had. The beef was incredibly tender, and the sauce was perfectly balanced with the noodles. It even paired beautifully with my Chameleon, with subtle lemon notes that complemented each other surprisingly well. V ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop, cooked medium well and absolutely perfect. He loved every bite. It came with a risotto that he enjoyed, even if it wasn't the standout of the dish. Dessert sealed the deal. We finished with Sandy's White Wine Cake--which reminded me of a carrot cake in the best way--and the Banana Cream Pie, which was easily the best banana cream pie I've ever had. Truly a WOW moment.
