Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon around 2p after brunch with a party of 5 and I'll admit upfront if finding the location wasn't such a hassle I would have given 5 stars. There should be more signage in my opinion for those of us who have no idea what we are looking for. We ended up parking in the garage and it was $10.35 for 3 hours which isn't too bad. We did not have reservations and were able to book a round within 30 minutes. A couple of the machines were inoperable and that made for a longer registration time. I'd also suggest doing away with having to enter so many details for each guest to play, but that's neither here nor there. While we waited we ordered a round of green tea shots and they were pretty good. With tip I spent about $35 for 4 and they were a very nice size. Definitely a plus in our book. Our first round we played upstairs and this was probably the funniest mini golf course I've ever played on. It was about $76 for all 5 of us to play. I enjoyed the tracker in the ball that keeps your score and alerts you to who is playing by name. We played relatively quickly on the course although there can be a bit of a pile up if there are large parties also playing on the same course. There was also one hole that went haywire but we were able to skip it and come back to it once repaired. I like that you don't have to play in order except when it comes to your final hole. We enjoyed so much we played a second round downstairs and it wasn't nearly as fun for some reason although we wont two free desserts which everybody who tried enjoyed. Our second bartender took forever making one lemon drop martini and two rum punches. The drinks were definitely very good but not sure I'd wait as long as I did again. The Short: A very cute idea but both the games and food left us a bit underwhelmed. The Long: Reservations ($12/person) for putt putt are only available online and very hard to come by on weekends and evenings, so book early. Service: This is where they shine! From the hostesses and waiter to the staff who explained golfing...everyone was super personable and welcoming. Ambience: Fun, busy, and cool. Perhaps a bit loud if that bothers you but this is to be expected in a bar/gaming environment. Golfing: Each hole is super cute and fun but you blow through the tiny course in no time. This is a cute date night but you should plan to be done in 15-20 mins max and then enjoy the bar/restaurant. Dining: The menu has a nice variety and some unique offerings but none of the food tasted as good as it looked. The cocktails, on the other hand, were solid, especially the Smoked Negroni! Hubby and I went on a spontaneous outing here with no reservation for my birthday. At first the kiosks to sign in were not user friendly/glitchy and it was really chaotic at the downstairs courses (only 20% of the ppl were masked also). We decided it wasn't a good idea to come after all and asked their front desk to be refunded. She said they don't do refunds even if we didn't actually play which was pretty outrageous. We asked for a manager and Jared really turned the negative experience to a positive one. He set us up on the upstairs course where it was much quieter and went in the systems backend to get the tech stuff sorted. We played a fun 2 rounds/18 holes. Cool idea, poor execution. From what they market online this seemed like more of an adult experience, that was definitely not the case. It was extremely packed on the course and the design and placement of each putting hole felt super cramped. Upstairs we had to wait in lines for each turn and there was no ventilation. My nine year old is a big fan of puttshack. (Its 21 and older at 7 pm). From an entertainment perspective, there is literally something for everyone. (I'm a golfer and I ALWAYS lose.) It's a great place to connect if you don't take yourself too seriously. The drinks are strong and there is enough space and challenge to keep the conversation going. CAN WE PLS BRING THIS TO LA?! This review is solely for the tech infused mini golf experience since we didn't get a table/food/drinks. There are 9 courses and it was honestly so fun! I thought some tech difficulties would come up but everything went by so smoothly. The only thing is that the area is very small so you'll def be standing close to other people and waiting in line for your turn especially if there are large groups. It took about 45 minutes to complete so it went by pretty quickly. You'll have to pay to do more courses - make sure to book in advance because it sells out quickly. My husband and I were in Atlanta for my college reunion. My best friend, who lives here, suggested this place for a fun double date. We had reservations and sat outside on the terrace. It was a lovely day in mid-May. We had the Georgia tailpipes as an appetizer, and these were AMAZING, seriously. The waitress said they were very good and popular, but I was surprised because I didn't really know what to expect the ingredients (pulled pork, bacon collard greens, and pimento cheese). These get a 10 out of 10 for me, so good! My entree was the margherita extra flatbread, and I added pancetta. My only complaint is that I only got one small piece of pancetta per slice for $3. The flavor of the pizza was spot on. My husband got the hatch Chile cheeseburger and we shared the maryland crab dip and he commented several times on how it was some of the best food he'd ever tasted! We golfed after we ate (make sure to make your golfing reservation way after your dinner, because if they call your name, and you are still eating, you will get bumped down the line). It had nine different holes with interesting ways to golf such as answering a true/false question and putting your ball through the side that had the answer you chose. You park in a deck attached to the building and can use the Park Mobile app. Rates are typical Park Mobile rates. When I got to the door, there was a small group of people standing just outside the door. It almost looked like a line, but I wasn't sure. So I approached the door and saw a woman standing at it who asked me if I had my confirmation on my phone. I told her no and that I was meeting friends who were already inside, so she let me go right in. I met my friends on the patio and they were already having beers. About 10 minutes later, we got a table for 10 right next to the bar. I'd eaten a few hours earlier, so I wasn't very hungry but decided on a drink. I ordered the Hennessy Island. As we sat and waited on our drinks and food, more friends joined us. My drink finally came and it wasn't that great. It just tasted like a lot of alcohol thrown on top of each other (which it is lol, but I thought it'd have some type of flavor). I tasted some octopus my friend ordered. It was my first time having octopus and while the flavor was nice, I didn't like the texture. After being there for a couple hours, I decided to order food since we weren't leaving any time soon. I got the fried chicken cobb salad. The wait times for food and drinks were a little longer than expected. They weren't superrr busy with people at tables, but there were a lot of people crowding the bar. The putting area didn't seem overwhelmingly crowded either. My cobb salad finally came out and it was absolutely beautiful. It tasted delicious too! Overall, I enjoyed my salad and disliked my drink. While the service needs improvement, our server was very nice and helpful. We made reservations online for two games at Puttshack on Saturday evening for a party of three people. We arrived at 5pm for our 5:20pm reservation, and we were able to play right away. We were played both of the upstairs courses, the Sapphire and Ruby. Each course is nine holes that are themed. Your ball has a tracker that keeps track of your score on the screen. There are opportunities on every hole for a bonus and for a hazard. If you are stuck behind large parties, you can be waiting for a while to move on to the next hole. I would recommend getting a drink before starting your game, so you have it as you wait on each hole. There are tables to set your glass down on while you play. Perfect for a date night, hanging out with a few friends, birthday events, etc. The employees are like a "frozen TV dinner;" some hot spots, some cold spots. I bet you're wondering what that could mean. Pretty much means.. some employees are warm and friendly, while others are cold and bland. They have a full bar with ample seating. You can even take your drink with you to play golf. They offer hightop end tables near the games to hold your drinks. You can even order food at the bar. FYI.. be sure to be specific with your bartender, if not ordering a "signature cocktail." Speaking of ordering food.. I'm glad at the fact they have vegetarian/vegan options. This is a cool newer entertainment complex on the west side of downtown Atlanta. Puttshack is indoor mini golf on steroids. It can be best described as a Dave & Busters mini golf. You can eat and drink and play games, fun! Brought my two you boys at 11 am on a Sunday and it was a hit. The crowds were low (but still there) and we were able to get a reservation and walk right onto a course. They have 4 nine hole courses. Two adults and two children will run you about $45 for nine holes. That's the only drawback, you don't get 18 and it's fairly expensive. The vibe inside is very cool-check in is at self-service kiosks (there were 4-5 of them) and walk-ins were welcome. We signed up for a game and were given a time to report to the Emerald course. There's a total of 21 or so unique holes between 4 courses. Game play was fun but everyone in my party felt that $12 for 9 holes was a bit outrageous. The game is played fairly quickly and we didn't really feel like we got our money's worth-especially since a real game of mini golf with 18 holes costs about half. Game play is dictated by the groups in front of you which means there's a decent amount of just standing around (especially if there's a large group). Bar service wasn't as good as expected, especially given the price of drinks. The staff seem flustered and one bartender tried to get us to go to the back of the line since his computer was down. When we stated we'd already been waiting for 10 minutes and it wasn't fair to go behind others who had just shown up, he kind of had an attitude and rolled his eyes before serving us. There also minimal standing area around the bar and we found ourselves standing awkwardly near the kitchen waiting for our game time. We ordered a beer, rum and coke, and tequila sunrise and it came to $40 with a tip which in my opinion was way overpriced, especially for the size of the drinks. COVID- almost no one wears a mask inside and around the putting area, it can get crowded and the space is small. VIBE- great date place. Very sophisticated and upscale feeling. Beautiful bar area. DRINKS- it's really hard to get the bartenders to help you. I felt like I had to be extra extra nice just to order drinks. PUTTING- the putting is really fun. Everyone is assigned a ball. The system knows automatically when you place it down, that it is you so you don't have to wait for your turn. I went in a pretty big group with kids and it was not a problem. You just won't get to interact with everyone because they are 1-2 putts away from you even though it is a small area. Naturally, you break up into a couple or few groups and only interact with those in your group since you sorta have to be a little focused on your game. PUTTING AREA- They have multiple sections of putting and each are 9 holes. The seating/ eating area is huge with tall ceilings but the putting area has much lower ceilings and is small. The manager Joe saved the day. We played our game and needed a table for 10. It was early evening so not very crowded. The hostess said she'd clean off a large table and seat our group. After 20 min the table was still dirty so we were still waiting. I found Joe and he jumped right in and made sure the rest of the evening was seamless. I want to be lenient with the way I review them because I'm sure they're still trying to get a good rhythm to their workflow. However, the service was absolutely horrible. The manager January was not helpful to our party at all and I hope they really utilize this for feedback and opportunity to change. We had been waiting for this location to open for WEEKS! When we saw it coming myself and about 5-6 of my friends signed up for their emails and waited anxiously for something fresh in the midtown area. We decided to go on April 22nd to celebrate one of our friends birthday. We played putt putt (mini golf) and order drinks mid way through the course. Which each course is about 30-45 mins depending on the volume in that section and how quickly you make the hole in ones! Anyways, it took 30 mins to get our drinks! THEN we ordered and the food was not only mini but it wasn't very tasteful. Sorry to do this to Putt Shack, and my group had a lot of fun there. The problem is with the parking, and this is the only way I know to register it where it may make a difference. The parking situation there is unlike any other I've ever seen. At most parking facilities (The Battery, for instance), you enter the facility and get a ticket, then on the way out, you pay for the amount of time you parked there. However, the unscrupulous parking company at The Interlock asks the customer to present their credit card and GUESS upon entry how long they will be there. Then it lets you leave without a warning that you may have overextended the time you guesses. If you overextend your guess, they send you a bill for an EXHORBITANT amount, more than twice what you may have originally paid. I entered at 18:03 and guessed that I would be there two hours. When I left at 20:53, I was 50 minutes over my guess. They are billing me for $45, and it will be $85 if I don't pay in 30 days, BY CHECK. They are going to tack on $4.99 for me to pay online (which costs them nothing - less than handling a check). This is a SCAM!! read more

The menu is really light super healthy, vegan and gluten free options. It's giving California/ Hollywood and the low carbs vibe. Sign up for the 18holes 9 goes by too fast and everyone is waiting for you to go so you don't really enjoy golfing. The upstairs staff was very Mid (mid level, not great but almost below cool). The downstairs staff however are superb. It's loud good for families and a 21 and over option. The vibe over is 3.5 something to do but minimal overall a 3.5. May come again not sure. read more

Definitely recommend reserving a time slot for putt putt, it can get pretty packed, especially on the weekend. I have come here twice now. Once with just my husband and the second time it was a group of 6. You get one free game if you sign up for the mailing list. It is on the pricey side for just 9 holes. But I like how it is very technology driven. It calculates and keeps track of each players score. Bonus that you can take your drink with you and there are mini tables throughout each hole for you to put your drinks on. I do wish that it wasn't so packed because I feel like I need to go faster. But everyone was really nice and no one rushed us. I have not tried the food there yet. Just drinks and putt putt. Lots of unique drinks to try! A bit on the pricey side but hey you gotta enjoy yourself once in awhile too! The bar is a bit slow, so plan accordingly when you are trying to get a drink before your game. Well. This visit was interesting. I made a reservation for 4 at 1050 to play mini golf. That was fine, but the problem arose when I decided that I wanted to eat there as well. I got there at 920 and there was a 20 minute wait for a table, which was ok. Things took an unexpected turn when we were seated at 942 and I was brought a "late night menu" with literally only 6 items on it. I asked the server what time did the late menu start and she stated 10 pm. I explained that it was before 10 and she said the kitchen stopped making the full menu. That was extremely frustrating because I could have eaten somewhere else before my putt time had they told me this valuable information. So then I asked the manager what the policy was and he said they "Usually" inform customers 15 minutes prior to 10 pm about the late night menu. I explained that we weren't informed and we were there before the 15 minutes. He then switched it to, 30 minutes. They cut off the menu 30 minutes prior to 10 pm. At that point I was like whatever. So upon me leaving at 12:20 am, I looked on the serving counter and there it was, a juicy burger, (that''s not on the late night menu) so I guess they pick and choose when to serve full menu versus late night. I may have come too early considering the location opened a couple days prior to my visit but while I love the concept of this place the only thing I was able to do was eat this visit. I guess I didn't do enough research and reserve a tee time prior to arriving. Everything was booked for the whole night so I wasn't able to play. I had an interesting experience at Puttshack Atlanta. I love the concept of an indoor mini golf experience. I was excited to give it a try, especially since one just opened in my home base of Boston. I came with a group of 8 on Friday. The short story is i found it to be a bureaucratic mess, fun once you can play, but it's also overpriced. I made a reservation online the day before and there's a cancellation fee if you don't cancel outside of 12 hours. A little off putting but fine. The real beef is trying to add one more- I couldn't do it online. So I called the store and they said it wasn't possible. Advice the manager gave me- "you can cancel (fee included) and rebook" or "show up and maybe we can add you". I found the manager and associate rude on the phone. Which was strange because service was great once I got there. More strange was that it was literally no problem once we got there! Seriously all that headache for no reason. They also ask for a lot of information when you play and I found it offensive that they wanted my phone number, birth date and email. I'm sure that information is very secure (obvious sarcasm). It's 9 holes of mini-golf and it's pretty fun. They have several different course so there's a reason to return. It's really compact- very tight and play through is kinda of a slog. The actual courses are fun but 9 holes seems like too little fun for a pricer experience than a traditional mini golf experience. 1 thru 9 will be finished in under an hour- even on a busy day. For $14/pp I wish there was more holes. I probably won't be back and I don't think I'm interested in checking out the Boston location. read more

I have visited Puttshack a couple of times and really enjoyed myself. My first experience was for a date night with my husband. When we arrived we signed up for a time to play golf. It was a bit busy so we decided to eat before we golfed. The food was really good and so were our drinks. When it was time to golf we went to our course. Puttshack offers four different courses. Two of the courses are upstairs and two are downstairs. All are unique and different which was really cool. You do not have to putt in the order of the holes. The technology is cool and keeps up with your score and what holes you have played. It does get a bit crowded but was manageable. We really love the overall concept and had a blast. The decor is cool too. I would suggest visiting for a fun date night out, birthday celebration or just a get together with friends. read more

I have been here several times and I love it. I think it's a pretty unique, non-traditional mini golf. You can sign up for a tee time online. When you arrive, you check in at the kiosk and it tells you which course you go to (one downside is you don't get to choose your course unfortunately, but I have never played the same course back-to-back somehow and they are all equally fun anyways). Then you go to your course, they give you a ball that is digitally connected to you, and a club. When you place the ball on the putting area, it automatically shows your name on the screen and it keeps track of your score for you, which is cool. The only thing that is different than traditional mini golf is that it is not only accounting for the number of putts but also various factors. Each course has bonus things that you can do. For example one course has a tiny ramp down the middle and if you manage to hit it up the very thin ramp, it would lead to a hole-in-one, but if you go by either side of the ramp, you will still get there, just not in one. Each side either says true or false. There is a question on the screen and you either go for the hole-in-one or put to the side that correctly answers the questions. Either way, your score will vary based on what you chose. Each hole has something unique like that, which I think is pretty cool. The inside is really nice, there are tons of neon lights, even in the bathrooms lol. It is also a bar, and each hole has a counter to set your drink while you putt and even hooks to hold your purse. My only complaint would be that it goes by so quickly. There are only 9 holes per course and I think it costs about 14$. Of course the location and atmosphere is worth 14$ to play but I wish you could do 18 holes for 14$. I never end up wanting to pay to play 2 rounds, and most of the time the place is booked so it would be hard to book two tee times back-to-back. I also never order drinks here because there isn't enough time to drink them. The place is pretty crowded so I always feel slightly rushed. Not too much where it is not enjoyable, but just enough to where I wouldn't order a drink to sip on while I play because there is just no time. I think if it were an 18 hole game, I might. They do offer free games sometimes though. I got an email randomly for a free game, and the last time I went I took a feedback survey for a free game. I haven't used the free games yet, but hopefully soon! Overall a really cool concept and I have enjoyed every visit, I just wish it lasted a bit longer and that maybe they would start teams farther apart so it felt less rushed. read more

We love puttshack! So fun for a big or small group. There are different areas with different fun spins on each round. It's easy to run and grab a beer at the bar throughout your game too which is great. We also love getting a table before/after we play and enjoying drinks and food!! read more

This Has to be the most fun I've ever had a playing putt putt golf. Really cool vibe . Lots of places to hang out and have cocktails or a beer before or after playing. We sat out on the large patio and had a really good lunch. There's even a few vegetarian options. Chicken sandwich was very tasty . And the vegetarian pad Thai got an A+. Gone are the days of being able to cheat at putt putt , the ball does all the scoring for you! Would've been a bit better if they would've spaced out the putt putt holes so people were right on top of each other. But all in all this place is fun ! Will I be back? Absolutely! read more
