I visited The Puttery for some Saturday fun and I must say I had a very enjoyable experience. I was greeted by a very nice warm hostess who gave a very nice intro of the establishment and discussed the mini golf course. The mini-golf courses at The Puttery are beautifully designed with vibrant colors and creative obstacles.  In addition to mini-golf, there was a live DJ who played great music. The establishment was very nice, clean, and vibrant with great decor.  The food was awesome as I opted for the Saturday brunch and I was not disappointed with anything that I tried. Their menu features a variety of delicious options including burgers, pizzas, salads, and more. Time is currently 2/14/2025 at 9:30pm 1) We were told we would be seated when we checked in and come to find out it's open seating 2) All of the "open seats" were tables that hadn't been cleaned off yet, so we had to clean off our own table 3) We waited 30 mins for someone to take our order, 1 person came by asked us if we had been helped and they never came back. It took another 15 mins to find someone to take our order 4) We ended up paying 120 bucks for food and drink 5) it took another 20 mins and having to flag someone down to get our drinks 6) In the middle of all of these people are leaving in droves because of the same issues 7) we still don't have our food but at this point it doesn't matter. Amazing experience! Yolanda and Emily were amazing, going above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The pizza is delicious, and the 3 different courses are amazing. It's around $50 for two adults after 5 pm for unlimited play- totally worth it. The courses are a bit small but challenging. My partner who plays golf frequently enjoyed it a lot! While I had my reservations about "adult" putt-putt, I have to say the Puttery was worth it. The interior is trendy, upscale, and unique, with plenty of places to sit for small and large parties. The various courses are really fun with cool themes and challenges. Putt-putt is done in "shifts" by time blocks, so it's important to get your party together for their turn. While you can't bring food into the course rooms, you can bring your drinks and even order drinks in the rooms. I wish I had known that there are unique drink menus for each room, as I would have made sure to check them out. The food is another surprise--it was amazing! The pizzas were delicious, as was the shrimp appetizer dish. The cocktails were delicious too, offering a full bar with typical staples and some interesting signature cocktails. The staff was also great at accommodating our needs, moving our large party to a VIP room for no extra charge when they needed the space we were in. They also comped us for food that was mistakenly thrown away when we went to go golf, and made sure we had what we needed for our birthday celebration. Even my older parents had a good time! My fiancé took a group of friends and I here for my birthday. The details of booking are unknown, however, when I walked in, the music and aesthetics were a hit. I enjoyed the colors, patterns, and overall vibe of the place. There were private events going on as well as usual after work hangouts. I had a private "library" where hors de voires were served (that rhymes lol). The food was a 7/10; nothing to brag about. I didn't have any alcohol, but my guest thought that the drinks were pretty weak. Collectively, the best drink was the Old Fashioned. This place is massive and suuuper busy on the weekends, therefore I strongly recommend that you make reservations ahead of time. When we arrived, they checked us in downstairs at the host stand and gave us options for which putt putt course we'd like as well as the timeslots available for each. I really wanted to go to the Library course but it had a much longer wait time, so we chose the Lodge instead. The putt putt courses are all indoors and a lot smaller than I expected. The photos online are very misleading as they make the courses appear much bigger than they really are. Be prepared to be bumping into people and having people basically breathing down your neck while you're trying to putt putt. Also, you go through the course in groups of 2-4, so you often have to wait for the group in front of you to finish the hole before you can begin. The group in front of us had 4 and we were only a group of 2, so we had to wait a LOT. At one point, there was actually a really big backup due to a different group further ahead. Tip: Definitely get all dressed up when coming here as this is an Instagram-worthy place. This is a great option for rainy days or during hot Houston summers, I think it might also be a fun birthday party idea. Came here on a weeknight and played 2 rounds (library, ski apres themes) and tried a few drinks. They have valet and self parking. You need to reserve a time slot online, and they allow groups in in increments of 5min. There is a 3rd theme 9-hole that is available on weekends only. The golf part itself was super fun. The decor is awesome, and the score keeping is on point. You enter the score on the ipad, and as you move from hole to hole, your parties' names and scores pop up on the next display. In terms of drinks, I tried the night at the louvre cocktail (sparkling, brandy, blackberry) which was great, well-balanced and slightly tart. I tried the Gruet rose as well, which I enjoyed. I was between the Chianti and Pinot and asked the bartender to describe them to me, but she wasn't really able to do so... Overall, the ambiance was hip and fun. read more

We've been waiting forever the events overtake everything and we thought when we booked you get all three courses and you get only one and you cannot book and event like my hubs birthday but want allowed because we had a party of 6 so you have to have 9 to have an event we had a party of six so we didn't qualify for the fun event for my husbands birthday and I'm giving them exposure on my platforms. And they're not even on every social media platform like wtf is their Twitter platform thank god ryan was able to get us a second round after our first in the library yea it's a startup and they're expanding fast and they have great designers and construction but service and quality needs improvement for sure like for his bday all he got was a glass of champagne lame it's been 15 min not a single server has come out to wait on us a bartender told me not to order from her because she was too busy - they poured out a whole cocktail because they thought my husband was part of the event and he said no so instead of him taking it they dumped it what a waste of money taking forever to get service this new place needs help They still have not cleaned our table we're sitting at a dirty table had to ask for it to be cleaned... and the bartender told me to buzz off and wait for a new bartender and it's not the waiters fault because they don't have busers so there was no one cleaning the tables and resetting them with napkins and the pizza gluten free was dripping all over me it took forever to get napkins poor waiter was so busy because they have no bussers the ladies room would t flush and downstairs restroom not able to handle capacity- it's an auto toilet doesn't flush the lady before me and me had the same issue - -the sliders smelled amazing going by... So much fun! The golf game took two people about 15 mins to play so at $18 each, I wouldn't call that a value but then again, I suspect that's missing the point of this place. There are different themed courses. We did the library. Loved the decor. We did a selfie in front of the T-Rex and the Bear. The service was crazy good. It started with Destiny at the front. Adam in the Lounge helped get us to right course and Oso and Myron hosted us in the Library. Tony was our bartender and let me tell you, the drinks were awesome. I like that they don't fill them all the way to the top so the alcohol isn't diluted. I highly recommend Sound and the Fury if you're looking for something boozy. The Augusta Sunset was also very satisfying. Jessica brought us our food. We did the beef sliders, fries, and pork belly. The pork belly has some heat. Highly recommend. Fun and unique concept in the heights! We had a great time - we loved the decor and the course was so much fun. Being able to order drinks while putting was a nice plus. So many cute photo op spots here. We did the library course, which is their middle difficulty course. They also have a garden themed easier course and a ski lodge most difficult course. We may try their difficult one next time! There are 3 bar areas here that also serve food, so we decided to hang out afterwards by one of their couch areas to catch a football game on one of then multiple big screens and eat some pizza. I really like the mushroom truffle pizza. Nice selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. You can also come here to just hang out at the bar and eat without having a reservation for the putting course. Me, my friend, my husband, and her fiancé decided to do a double date Friday night at puttery. I've heard of the place but this was our first time there and I learned a few things. Our reservation was for 5:30. When we arrived, we were first happy they had plenty of parking! I got a text my friend was going to be a bit later so we were thinking of maybe starting and they can join whenever arrives. When we walked in we told, we could enter or start at 6 or later. There is an hour so you have to arrive 5:30-6:30. We decided to go upstairs and chill until they arrived. We got a pizza and fries which came out in a decent timing However the pizzas cheese seemed separated- didn't see well cooked. The fries were good! Our friends arrived and we all got some drinks! We then paid the bill and went to the golf area. We booked the library - when you reserve you can pick the theme. The person in the front explained how it works to us and we got our gold clubs - there were around 8 stations where we took turns making goals. Overall that took 1 hour to play the full stations. After playin we decided to go to the outside lounge and have more drinks. There is a small view of downtown but the ambience is nice. This place reminded me a lot of flight club - the dart place. Seems like a good date idea or even hangout with friends however it's probably a good idea to keep the group small. We had a group of maybe 6 or 5 people in front of us and we had to wait some times because they took too long. When you have to wait for one group to be done, another group is waiting to use your station behind you so it's a good idea to come with a smaller group. I had a good time! Saturday 7pm November 2022 I was able to find street parking but there is a lot that looks like it's both free and accommodating! Kudos on the business model here. The execution is absolutely stunning. They really put forth effort into the design and concept. This is 21+ only. I didn't know that until the officer/bouncer asked for ID @ the door. Luckily I had it on me so it was all good. There are 3 courses. 1 is downstairs & the remaining 2 are upstairs. Each with their own theme. My experience is overall positive with touches of disappointment (hence 4 stars instead of 5). I have no clue the name of the 1st or 2nd DJ but they were both ABSOLUTELY on point with their music selection! My feet & shoulders were tapping, jumping, grooving, and cutting rugs all night! At the same time, it did nothing for my putt putt game. I was terrible! Speaking of putt putt, this is where disappointment reared its head initially. You'll feel like you're on an assembly line. Parties of 5 I believe are the most you can have. With the coziness of each room, it can become cumbersome to navigate. Partner that with the next group that needs to putt, it can rush your experience. I don't like that. With good music and an activity, it can simulate random dancing and even conversations but those things had to be placed on hold so not to hold up the line. I'm not sure why there is a time frame, because with the assembly model that they have in place, you are in and out of there within 30 minutes. You do not have to golf to enjoy. They have a plethora of rooms and seating options! Their food choices are what I've grown to know as customary bar food. I enjoyed their order of fries and an order of meatballs. I'm not a food connoisseur but I enjoyed my order of food. Another disappointment I experienced is that the servers and bartenders are not on the same page. Asking for spoons or silverware from a bartender nets you nothing & the servers look at you different because you're sitting at the bar and are asking them... Maybe that's an isolated event that I experienced but similar occurrences happened to us on more than one occasion that night. I thought it worth mentioning. I think this is a great place for a really chill evening right before venturing to a different location. If you don't plan on perusing like you do at a sip-n-shop, I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a good time. Puttery was simply disappointing to say the least. I admit, I had really high expectations because I love miniature putt-putt golf, but boy, did they fail to deliver. If you look past the fancy wall paper, décor, and ambiance, all you get is an insta-worthy nine-hole golf round. Even though they provide you with a "window" of time to play your nine-holes, if you're like me and my family, we try to speed it along so the next group doesn't have wait so long, and then POOF! you are done! You just paid $18/PP for nine holes of golf, and if you still have time left in your "window," it only counts for one round of golf, and you will need to pay another $18/pp to play in a different themed room with another nine-holes. If the concept is miniature putt-putt, then mini golf is what should be the focal point of the event, but this place seems to apply more emphasis on drinks, live-music, eating and a good time!...I can do that elsewhere without having to pay $18 to play only nine holes of golf... also, each round is only 2-par, which feels like you're getting shorted!! Not satisfied with the staff members either. Many of them were standing around, and not enough servers around to take drink orders...why should the patron have to wait until the second hole to be asked for our drink orders?...Then I had to walk up to the hostesses and ask if I could get a napkin, only to be told that they don't have napkins there!!... an establishment that sells beverages and food, how in the world do you not have napkins??...Then to my surprise, the server comes out with a cloth napkin...facepalm! Staff were less than attentive and not really friendly. Extremely disappointed in the overall service of this location. I came upstairs to wait for a friend and there was a sign that stated we could seat ourselves. I sat for over 15 minutes and not one waiter came up and even said hello or asked if I needed anything. The designated server did continue to service other tables beside me which was a bit strange. I don't want to necessarily say his waiter was racist but that's definitely what it I felt like. He was tall, Caucasian, and had a long ponytail. I finally went to the bar after waiting for my friends where the bartender was friendly. I was looking for a fun date idea and had heard about Puttery on TikTok, so I decided to give it a try. Booked it online at first and was able to cancel when I couldn't make the first time. My date and I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted by the friendly receptionist who explained the concept to us. We decided to first try out the lodge given it was December. So we went straight in and the lodge "concierge" Crystal explained the rules and how the scoring worked. It was very thorough and she was super friendly and helpful! We grabbed our clubs and balls and went about it. I love the digital scorecard that follows you from hole to hole, making it easy to keep score without fumbling around with a pencil and paper. Make a mistake? Simply edit on the next hole. I also love their attention to detail: they had a place to keep your drinks and a hook for purses. Absolutely genius. We did 2 courses The lodge: the lodge is supposed to replicate a ski resort, and it really did. But I had issues with the holes because there was little room to stand or hit the ball. I would suggest redesigning this course to be a little less awkward. I didnt mind the difficulty, although it was quite challenging. But everyone on the day was over par so maybe something needs to change. It was also annoying when your ball would get stuck under a snowboard or boot. The library: this one was fun. Loved the decor and it was much less awkward than the lodge in terms of spacing and didnt lose the ball. Overall, I think the puttery is a beautifully designed place which gives you the best of both worlds: bar and mini golf. With a beautiful terrace overlooking downtown Houston. I will say there are probably some kinks to work out and the price is a bit steep for only 9 holes, but it was fun! I also cannot speak to food and drink but will try them next time. read more

I absolutely recommend this experience for adults (sorry kiddos, you're not allowed), but the website does not currently give you all the info you need. So let me tell you what you need to know. The cost - The price is currently $18 per person per round. They have three courses at their two story location, so this means your $18 buys you 9 holes at one of the themed courses. We were worried it would go by too quickly - it does not, and it is super fun! We are actually excited to return in the future and try new courses. The set up - it's a two story building with three bars and three themed courses. One of each are downstairs, and the remaining two of each are upstairs. It's cleverly designed so even though the vibe is similar for all three bars, they are still distinct. The biggest visual difference is between upstairs and downstairs. The navigation - this is not a "guided" tour or three course meal with three golf games. It's more a la carte. You purchase your golf, then can walk around the bar and food locations (carrying your drinks, if you want) while you wait. They have TVs set up in discreet locations, too, that don't ruin the vibe for those not interested in shows. We saw a lot of sports on the Saturday we went! You can only enter the putt putt courses if you paid for it, but they have window cut outs so you can peek in from outside. The "curated menus" per course - they're technically telling the truth, but it's a truth that is getting a good stretch. We ate before we went, so I can only speak to the drinks. All three bars have the same drink menus. The putt putt courses have a limited version of that. For the Library Course, it was two of the usual cocktails and two "curated" ones plus the usual beer/wine menu. The Library Course - we've only done one course so far, but the library is a classy and fun one! While it legitimately hurt to see the "decorative books" on the shelves glued down, I turned a blind eye and ultimately loved the ambiance and creative obstacles on each hole. It felt like I was playing putt putt in some richy's house. So fun! Even cooler - the scorecard is electronic and follows you from hole to hole. My standards have been raised. read more

I was pleased to see that they have their own huge parking lot since street parking in that area doesn't exist anymore thanks to the city requiring that only residents with a permit can use street parking. Going in, I wasn't sure what to make of this place. They have beautiful lighting and decoration and the place was packed. They have 3 different courses with their own themes. You can also just go upstairs and get something to eat or go to the bar. The little patio they have has a nice view of the skyline too. Time will tell whether this is a concept that will have lasting demand or people are just curious to check out the new place and will get bored with it once the novelty has worn off. I was there just to meet with some people and have a couple of drinks and some people in our group also tried out the putt putt golf. It's kind of pricey at $18 per person for a 9 hole round which will take about 20 minutes. It might be a fun date idea if you want to do something different while having a drink but I can't imagine that this is something people would want to do on a regular basis but as far as gimmick bars though, it's probably the safer choice than say an ax throwing bar. Then again, all the people living in those luxury apartments in the area need to have a place to go have fun so I could be wrong. One area that needs work is the bathroom situation though. They have one room unisex bathrooms and there was already a little line forming. That shouldn't happen at a casual place like that. read more

Took my husband for Father's Day. They were understaffed. It took us 2 hrs. to get our food. The server Raven tried her best to fix everything. Their Sous Chef was running food to the table. Everything came out cold. They only had 3 servers for the entire location. The Manager tried she was new and alone. This is not on the staff there, this is on upper management. We were here for its grand opening day and were excited to check the place out as it's something new in Houston. They have a parking lot across the street but during weekend space is extremely limited and you will be circling streets. Staff was friendly and inviting as we entered and asked about hour reservation which you have to make. Each theme is 18 dollars and it says it will take you 30-45 mins but I'm reality it's 20 mins max. They do have lot of people booked on same time slot which can make the area seems 45 mins long but it goes by quickly. Each theme room has its own drinks that you can order and staff are walking around making sure you're doing good and there to offer help if needed. They have a separate bar/food menu in lobby but service seems slow which I understand since they are new but hope they improve as this place can be a nice place to hang during weekends. Definitely check them out and hope they add more theme room or change their price points. read more

You can get bottomless mimosas (orange, pineapple, grapefruit and peach) or bottomless... everything! Where they bring out as much as you want of smaller versions of the plates. My favorite was the bread pudding French toast! The mimosas were pretty strong. Definitely felt them after the 3rd or 4th. The place it self is very cute! It's photo ready at every corner and it's very clean. As far as the service, our waitress did a fantastic job of getting food and drinks out for our table of about 10, with most bottomless items. Give them the business of the year award for their giant free parking lot! Nothing is more important inside the loop. Anyway, this place is huge, well decorated and whips up great pizzas and drinks, but be ready to blow a hole in your wallet here, much less a hole in one!! Everything is expensive! When you make a reservation you get to choose a tee time when you arrive and you can either eat before or after playing. The restaurant and bar staff are very good and will try to ensure your food and drinks arrive in a timely manner in relation to your tee time. If you have to-go boxes from your meal the mini-golf course staff will store them for you and return them to you after you are done. Go to hang out with friends, not to critique the putt putt courses. They are well decorated but small and you could get stuck behind many groups. The point is for it to be a fun hang out, not to put houston on the "world's best putt putt golf courses" map. Otherwise you may lose your patience or be disappointed. Enjoy! I told my friend that I wanted to do something different tonight & she said she heard about this new miniature golf spot on in the Heights. Who doesn't like miniature golf?! And it's adults only!!! 21 & up to enter. They have 2 levels & I recall seeing 3 putting rooms. The Conservatory is downstairs, The Library & Lodge are upstairs. There are 3 bars as well. 1 downstairs & 2 upstairs with private party rooms as well. They're located next to B&B's. Their rooftop seating is overlooking that restaurant. Food was mostly pizzas & sliders & other items. Cute cocktail drinks as well. FYI when you walk in you do not have to stop at that first entrance to purchase your game. They have a purchase station upstairs as well especially if the line is long. Be prepared to wait a while before your game. So go eat & hangout at the bar. Their staff were so nice & fun! Everyone was dancing! You can really tell they enjoyed working together. We played the Conservatory & had a blast! It was a good challenge & not too hard. They have stands to hold your drinks & bags too. And they were so nice to allow friends that weren't playing to tag along. I definitely enjoyed their setup. When you're not playing, you can hangout at the bars or lounge on many of their sofa areas. They had a great DJ playing music throughout the night. Luckily we were the first for our tee time and since we had 6 we couldn't play all together so we split up 3 & 3. The course was cute, and short (9 holes). I found out later there was another course upstairs. The drinks IMO were okay. I got the tasty green and it was really sweet and kind of thick. We had their fire shrimp, which was savory and delish as well as their fries. My friends liked the bar upstairs more than the put put itself. Reservations are for over a 1.5 hour timed period. 3 different themed courses covering about 8 holes. Took us about 40 mins to finish a course. Here they allow you to drink while you play and have servers at the courses. The bar/restaurant area is fairly swanky. It's 2 stories, with the upstairs being more aesthetic. Fun experience! Great place for a date night or a night with the girls. Each course has custom drinks which are amazing. The service was really great, minus 1 bartender that made subpar drinks. Came here on a Friday afternoon and thank goodness the place wasn't super crowded. There were a few parties that did cause some backup at times while playing the courses. I have no idea how they maintain a steady pace during the weekends. It would be helpful if you could start the course at different numbers. Other than that we had a really great time trying the different courses. Library was the best, lodge was the hardest. Be prepared as they are small and compact. We ate lunch here as well, my shrimp appetizer was very flavorful, the other people in my party didn't have as good luck. read more

Cool place to hang out and play some mini golf. The food would have good however our crab cakes had little round black bugs flying around and in it. We asked for another plate. Disgusted because I smashed one and blood came out. Our waiter seemed to be aware of them and didn't argue. If we go back (probably not), we'll probably make sure we eat before going in. We had a late reservation so there weren't very many others there while we were. They really do a good job of making you feel like you are experiencing the theme presented.
