We sat inside in the tables and the lighting was quite dark, which made it hard to read the menu and see each other when we were talking. The drinks we got were delicious. The service was great, however the kitchen was starting to close so we were told we had to put in our orders immediately. The food we got included the beef dumplings, hummus plate, and the ceviche. The beef dumplings only came with 4 tiny little pieces. We looked at other yelp images of the dumplings beforehand but they had so many more. Not sure if this was because their kitchen was beginning to close, but only 4 was ridiculous. The ceviche and hummus were alright, but we wished they came with more pita chips. I do appreciate that they freshly fry their pita chips, but by the time we needed more, their kitchen was closed and couldn't make more. One thing Boheme needs improve on is their mosquito control. There were mosquitos that were annoying us throughout our dinner and I came out with 2 bites I noticed the following day! Overall, I'd come back here again but only for their happy hour. read more

We decided to hit up Boheme on a Monday evening to dodge the usual crowds, and it was the perfect call. The vibe is gorgeous--very cozy, European, and surprisingly spacious. We loved that the music wasn't blasting; you could actually have a conversation. They have a massive patio and a cool backyard garden, plus some more intimate rooms inside decorated with wine bottles and candlelight. The service was superb. Huge shoutout to Angelica and Oscar, who were both bilingual and super helpful with the menu. Since it was Monday, we took advantage of the all-day Happy Hour ($7 cocktails and bites). The frozen mojito was solid, but the food was the real star. The beef empanadas were tasty, and the Truffle Burger with Vietnamese fries was beautifully presented and delicious. Even the French Onion Soup hit the mark--it reminded us of the ones we've had in France (and thankfully wasn't over-salted!). The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the bill. They added a mandatory 22% service charge for just the two of us. I usually cap my tipping at 20% based on the quality of the experience. 9 years is enough time for an update, right?! This place is still kickin! We came in on a Tuesday evening, and it's Havana Night, with a sweet tribute band! Would totally come back for that. They were great! A lot of folks were showing up to dance, a very diverse crowd. The food was very good. We split a truffle cheeseburger, and Bangkok Fries. The truffle cheeseburger had amazing flavor! Cooked perfectly, the flavors were great, and while it was a little messy with a towering height including giant onion rings, it was entirely worth it. You can get a side of fries with it for a couple of bucks, but we opted for a full order to split. The Bangkok Fries are a huge pile of fries with mustard, hoisin sauce, and Sriracha sauce, with bits of pork shoulder. It's good. It would be great if they had more meat and layered the fries with sauce and meat. It's mainly a topping as is. Service this time was great. We sat at the bar. They have remodeled both the front patio and interior seating since the last time I was here. The bar tenders were very attentive and friendly, and the waitstaff were quick and efficient. Final experience was really good, but everything was very unorganized. Decided to celebrate my friend's birthday on a Sunday for drag brunch. Making the reservation online was very fast and easy. Online it did say if we cancelled late there would be a $35 fee, the day before I got a text to confirm my reservation and it stated it would be $10 for a no-show per person. I had to put a card on file while making the reservation. Parking is extremely limited!!! there's street parking or a $10 parking area a block away We got to Boheme way ahead of time I asked staff that was setting up the buffet and the bartender, where did I have to check in because my party was here and online it said I had to check in 30 minutes before my reservation hour, which was 2:15pm. I was told that we could hang out in the back patio while everything from the previous show was being cleaned up. Closer to 2:15pm we were all asked to go back into the restaurant and make a line against the wall to be checked in and brought back to the outdoor patio and be seated at our table. This made no sense to me because we had already been there for over 30 minutes and were never told we had to go make a line somewhere. I feel like everything was just very unorganized and nobody could give me a clear answer of what we needed to do when we got there early and where to check in. The brunch itself, was delicious. I loved that they had various meatless options. They had a very good spread of different foods. It was really good. I enjoyed it. Everybody had fun and enjoyed themselves. My guess did not like the shots special. What a fun place to be on Saturday night ! We ordered two rounds of drinks, gotten ourselves some classic fries. There were plenty of fries for two and hot and crispy. Maybe the night was a bit slow but the drinks were served promptly and flavorful. If I have to pick one, I'd recommend the Passion Fruit Breeze. Actually, ask for a classic mojito on the rocks as well. It was refreshing. Seating outside patio, patio in the back or inside. Plenty of space ! They have a full menu of appetizers and burgers and other things to fill your belly. Servers were funny and friendly. What a nice night to spend it under the sky. Parking sucks tho. Stopped by after dinner for a drink and dessert with some friends. This wasn't my first time here, but it was a lot more empty than it used to be... Perhaps it's a sign of the times. Regardless, the vibe was super cozy and friendly. The tables indoors only have 2 seats to them, and no one was in the back outdoor area so we just pulled up a bar stool to a table. The bar stools are super tall leather office chairs, which was super interesting and comfortable. I ordered the bread & butter pudding, which looked really tasty on the menu. However, it tasted very mediocre. The pudding was almost flavorless, kinda chewy, and lukewarm. The ice cream on top was nice and the combination of pudding and ice cream were the best bites. What I do not like is that they charge an automatic gratuity, which is not indicated on the menu or bar from what I could see, which made the dessert come out to over $15. If you automatically charge a tip, then include it in the price to begin with!! The service was exceptional, however, probably because they auto charge a tip to everyone. I was in town visiting my girlfriend and she asked me if I would like to go to a drag brunch. I love a nice brunch so of course I was in! We didn't want any issues with parking so we took an Uber to make it easier. There is street parking and I heard they have valet for $20. Your ticket includes the show and an all you can eat buffet style food options. I got the scrambled eggs and potatoes, kale salad, perfectly prepared bacon, and some crispy style chicken. Everything I tried was really good! They also had french toast, sliced sausage, sausage gravy over biscuits, croissants, beans etc. However, I chose to scale back on the carbs. We ordered drinks and were asked to open a tab. My girlfriend and I weren't able to get any change for tipping the performers right away and had to wait until the first 2 performers had received dollar bills from the other guests in order to get change. This seems to be a common pattern according to other reviews that I have read. I found this to be particularly odd as many other drag shows that I have been to have a person walking around that can give you change before the show starts. Our server was pretty busy but service was ok. The drag show itself was fun and the queens put on a great performance! The downside is that the drinks are pretty pricey on top of the automatic 22% service fee. Our drink bill came to $273 for just us 2 not including our brunch ticket and the money we tipped the performers (no less than $50). Went there last night and couldn't anymore. I was planning to stay for a little while, ordered a drink at the patio bar and they wouldn't keep my tab open. Told me i HAD to close my tab each time on Fridays. When I asked why, they couldn't explain other than that it was their policy. There are bars which make me feel like they know me. Make my drink and bring it to my table before i even order. I dont expect everyone to do that but, on purposely they want to make customers feel like nobody, as we have to present our payment method each time, extremely annoying. WHICH venue do we go to, ANY BUSINESS, where we have to present our method of payment multiple times with the same person? NONE !!!!! Then while we were sitting at the patio, i went to the patio to order multiple drinks for multiple people and i was told by the bartender that they were closed and i have to go to the inside bar. AT 11:00pm on a Friday?? while the patio is full of people, they closed the patio bar while there is a crowd and bar personnel present. I had to go inside, fight off an already crowded bar with people dancing all around, order my drinks from the scratch instead of saying i will have another round, carry multiple drinks through dancing people , and walk back outside. WHY did i have to do that ???? Why did management not think of customers' convenience, customers' inconvenience, come up with ideas to make customers' visit fun and easier instead of making it a struggle. The food itself was pretty good. There was a wide selection. I was worried because there were some reviews where the trays were emptied and food wasn't refilled. That was not the case here. They had many leftovers even halfway through the show, and people could get multiple helpings. The food was nicely seasoned. The show was great. There were 4 drag queens, and each had two sets. Happy hour here is a good deal, although I later felt deceived by the low menu prices as they have a mandatory service charge without the service. The appetizers and cocktails/wine on the happy hour menu are all $6 each + tax + service fee. We got the Vietnamese fries and beef spiced empanadas to share, and the fries were a HUGE portion. The sauce and seasoning made the fries taste so good, and the two of us couldn't finish them all. The empanadas were very tasty with a fragrant beef filling. For drinks, I had the pink sangria, which I enjoyed because it was slightly sweet. My friend had the white house wine, which was somewhat dry, and we both did not like it as much as the sangria. Neither of us are avid wine drinkers, however, so keep that in mind. I felt that the automatic 20% service charge they added to the bill was unwarranted. This is because we weren't really provided with any traditional service. We sat at a table, but we had to walk up to the bar to order. We ended up just moving to the bar. We also had to refill our water glasses ourselves at the water dispenser. I think they should just incorporate this into the menu prices as calling it a "service charge" is a misnomer. There's NO separate brunch menu. Everyone MUST participate in the $28 brunch buffet experience. No need to fear. The food is good, items you'll find on the buffet: fruit and yogurt parfait, French toast, empanadas, fresh fruit, breakfast tacos and more. Beverages are NOT included in the brunch menu price. There is a SERVICE CHARGE of 6% so don't be shocked. THE EXPERIENCE The drag show started a BANG! After the first drag show the bingo cards and markers were distributed. I had a disappointing experience at the bar recently due to inattentive service. The female bartender on duty spent the entire evening standing in one spot, engaged in a lengthy personal conversation with one woman. Throughout the night, she made no effort to check on other guests seated at the bar, myself included. Instead of offering bar service or even acknowledging patrons at the bar, everyone was expected to approach her directly just to place a drink order. This level of disengagement from a bartender is surprising and unacceptable. Now I won't take away from the establishment. It's an amazing and very chill bar with great drinks and bites!!! I hope management addresses this issue and emphasizes the importance of attentive service to all guests not just select individuals. Granted I normally have amazing service when the guys are working. We came here for my girlfriend's birthday while visiting from Dallas after hearing amazing things about their drag brunch shows. We would've loved to go on Sunday (since we've heard that's the best day), but we attended the Saturday Drag Brunch Bingo instead and it was still a ton of fun and a great experience overall. The atmosphere was fantastic: an outdoor setup under a tent with fans to keep things cool, which made it really comfortable. The service was also great, staff checked in frequently and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. There is someone there who can make change for tips for the performers, breaking big bills or you can Zelle/cashapp to get cash. The biggest letdown, unfortunately, was the food. The "buffet" options felt random and unorganized, with no labels to explain what anything was. The selection wasn't very appealing, and nothing really paired well together. I ended up mostly eating French fries, and our group actually had to go somewhere else afterward because we were still hungry. Be aware that fountain drink sodas are not free refills, I only ordered Coke and water to drink and I kept asking for refills and not once told it wasn't free refills. Ended up having to pay for 4 cokes just for myself. It wasn't canned or Mexican coke, it was machine fountain drink that they pour in their glass cup over ice. That said, what truly made the experience worth it was the entertainment. The hostess Adriana La Rue and Reign were incredible, and the show itself was so much fun. My girlfriend has been in love with Adriana La Rue for a while, so seeing her perform in person honestly made her birthday extra special. Biggest issue though was us checking on the hummus after about 25 minutes for the bartender to then state we never made the order and even inquired if I made the order with him. Kinda odd of customer service but that's what we received. Hummus finally came out after 40 minutes altogether. Once we got the check the automatic 20% was added but the bartender seemed very quick to outline that. Felt like a sure fire way to hide behind the poor service and the fact we weren't drinking alcohol. Got invited here by a friend to meet her friends and enjoy some adult beverages. I drove past this place before a few times and it always caught my eye; glad I got to stop in here and check it out. It's kinda small but inviting with seating at the bar, outdoor, or in the lounge with the sofas and cushioned lounge chairs. Outdoor seating has some fireplaces/heaters to keep you warm in case Texas decides to freeze over. Now for the cocktails, they have a variety of frozen and handcrafted drinks that the bartenders/mixologists take pride in concocting and would make any customer blush with endearment upon it's first sip. Prime example is the moulin rouge cocktail, served in a champagne coolie with a roasted rosemary garnish. Very easy to drink with sweetness from the fruit and bubbliness from the champagne. You can also do what my friend did which is order the frozen rose or frozen mojito; both are easy to drink and tasty although a bit too sweet for me. The bohemian empress was another drink I ordered that had a purple tint due to the st germain, cloves and rosemary garnish. Also a pleasure to sip with the combination of gin and indian tonic water. Didn't try any food here although the menu looked appetizing. Definitely next time when I'm in this area. Also enjoyed the action of sitting outside next to the fire and chatting it up with people while also people-watching and silently judging. One star is far too many.. came last night with a group of four including me and was automatically greeted with an attitude by our server. I never got her name just know she's white don't know if that helps lol. She immediately asked for my card to start a tab and I didn't think much of it. We needed up ordering two chamomile mojitos a pizza and a burger with tax and the automatic gratuity our bill ended up being $82 which sounded about right despite the food being soggy. So if you got there around 4:30, it was $4 for drinks and apps. They got rid of their hourly prices and just increased the price overall :/ They also changed their menu around a bit. I tried the buffalo cauliflower that I would absolutely not recommend. It was not edible. The cauliflower was soggy and the flavor was sooo acidic. Would recommend sticking to the viet fries only. Came here for the Drag brunch with our friends! We made a reservation ahead of time. Though it was sunny and hot, we still made the most of it! The buffet was great with many options, just make sure to grab it before the show starts. I waited for the line to die down but then it was tricky navigating there during the show. Bar Boheme is responsible for popping my drag brunch cherry. I come for the queens but stay for the food...well the food & the queens...the queens are great! This eclectic gem is my go to spot for Drag Bingo, Drag Brunch, Latin Nights, and Boheme Bazaar. They always have amazing happy hour specials to be enjoyed inside or out on their giant pup friendly patio & offer the PERFECT setting m to safely enjoy yourself with a date or friends in this "new normal". The service varies, but the staff is generally attentive. Parking can be tricky. I typically find a spot in the neighborhood and walk, but occasionally they have valet.
