The Birria was OK, but it definitely needed more flavor which could have been helped by more cheese, onions and cilantro. The rice was fine and I ordered some refined beans for additional protein, which were OK. Definitely not my favorite but the texture was good. The flavor wasn't my favorite but I can't actually describe what I didn't like about it. So that's not very helpful, sorry all. The margarita was the biggest disappointment and I should have brought it to the staff's attention because they did ask how everything was tasting and I just didn't realize it first how much I hated it. So that is totally on me. It was passionfruit, but I think they must use some type of nectar like a Goya brand which really doesn't have a ton of passionfruit flavor. Maybe I'm used to more artificial passionfruit juice but usually a passionfruit margarita has more of a yellow orange color and has a lot more flavor but this margarita margarita was on the bitter side, and whatever tequila was used really hurt my stomach. I didn't drink most of it because I just couldn't finish it. I would probably come back to give it another try because the service and ambience were good and I didn't outright hate the food, but I think I'd order something completely different.
