We went here for the lovely views of the ocean. There's plenty of outdoor seating either at tables or in adirondack chairs on a grassy area. There's even a little fire pit. We started with clam chowder which was actually one of the best clam chowders I've ever had. It was creamy New England style but not too thick and with the twist of a little spicy chorizo. To top it off there was a soft fluffy clam cake floating on top. Cocktails were light and refreshing. They were made with real juice rather than syrup. I had The Summer Spritz with fresh strawberry juice, lemon and basil. My friend had a spicy mango margarita which wasn't too sweet. However my fried fish sandwich and the accompanying fries were a big disappointment. The fish was under-salted, under seasoned and bland. The roll was dry with hardly any condiments and missing the slaw that it was supposed to come with. The fries, while made from freshly cut potatoes, were limp and greasy. My friend had the fish taco and enjoyed hers. I would go again for the views and the delicious chowdah but I won't be ordering anything fried again!

My daughter and I spent a few hours on the front lawn of this establishment, sipping beverages and people watching. She had a delicious mocktail (although $15 is pretty steep for a glass of juice...) and I had an espresso martini, and their special old fashioned. We also shared the truffle fries, which were delicious. They were crispy, flavorful, and came with a dipping sauce that was really great. We also shared the blueberry creme brûlée because, well, girl lunch.

Excellent dining experience! Our server, Natalie, was personable, attentive and knowledgeable of the entire food and drink menu. The food is amazing. The calamari was cooked perfectly and so tasty. The Dirty Rice dish was loaded with shrimp, little neck clams, brown rice and a delicious slow cooked chicken leg. The salmon was served over a bed of purple smashed cauliflower, with artichokes and pesto, also cooked to perfection. Kudos to Troy Turcotte, Executive Chef! We chose a Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio to pair and thoroughly enjoyed both. We were seated at a high top table for two in the bar area with gorgeous ocean view. We were celebrating our fortieth wedding anniversary and Sea Craft was amazing.

We were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar tonight on a perfect 10 night in Narragansett! Connor the bartender introduced himself right away and shook hands , super friendly! We had shrimp cocktail they were served on ice & excellent ! Our meals came and I can tell you the food was nothing short of simply amazing! The chef is an artist. We also had chowder which never have we had anything like it before! The local scallops risotto & asparagus was a 12 out of 10! Fish tacos were fabulous with a lil spicy kick. The atmosphere is great , good moody music, friendly staff we think it was the owner or manager did check in with everyone too & very hands on!! Views are amazing , super clean , great outside casual seating on the water. There honestly is nothing we could possibly say was not perfect especially when it was slamming busy! We cannot wait to get back asap!!! Amazing !!

Yes, there's usually a wait, but that's kind of the point. When a place is always busy, you know they're doing something right. We didn't mind at all and enjoyed the vibe while we waited. Kenzie was extremely helpful and even double checked a few menu items for my food intolerances, which I really appreciated. Customer service like that goes a long way. We both ended up ordering the seasonal Benedict special and it was absolutely delicious. Pro tip for next time (and for anyone planning ahead): put your name in online before you go. We'll definitely be doing that next visit.

We put that aside and said let's wait for our meals. Disappointing again. My wife ordered the 'homemade' corned beef hash special and nothing special or homemade, tasted like right out of a can from Sysco Foodservice. Her home fries were well over done. My meal was a special omelette with 'small batch' sausage and apples with cheddar. How does a short order cook over cook (dead on arrival) eggs to the point they're dry ? Anyway I've Never sent back ages but did so this time. A new omelette was much better but the sausage apples and cheese just didn't taste good yuk ! The building is a nice big open space and very updated ambiance. We will not be returning to the Narragansett RI location again! FYI: Owners Anthony and Tina Ciao,

Everything on the menu looked good. I ordered the Vermont burger, with candied bacon, and onion rings on the side, and it was delicious. My husband got a Philly steak Benedict, from the specials menu, and liked it. We also got a side of cornbread which was very good. My mom ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich, which was my second choice off the menu, but I'm glad I didn't order it, it wasn't quite as tasty as the burger IMO. When we left we struggled to move the tables, as my aunt has a walker, and I did feel like the staff should've helped us with that. Other than that, waitservice was fast and friendly.

First look at the menu, you start drooling, so many great options. Since I was with my girlfriend (who has Alpha Gal and is allergic to red meat) I try not to eat red meat when we go out. They were happy to substitute the ham for avocado on my eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The hash browns for me were a little under seasoned. However next to the salt and pepper they had some hot sauce, a little addition of all three of those and the hash browns were great! They have many different coffee flavor options, service was great. While they were busy they let us know that, and apologized for the delays. We were not in a hurry and will be back again the next time we are in the area.

Upon our 5:30 p.m. arrival, my wife and I were immediately seated in the far corner of the outdoor patio. From the beginning, the host's demeanor came across as cold and dismissive. When she told us to "enjoy," her tone made it clear she didn't mean what she said. When our waitress arrived, she wanted to explain what the daily specials were, but before she began, we politely asked if we could move to another section of the patio so we could sit in the sun. After speaking with the host, she returned with what I can only describe as a smart-ass attitude, saying, "Those tables are for people who actually have reservations." We completely understood if those tables were reserved, but there was absolutely no reason for the condescending attitude. Instead, we were moved to another corner table, and after the host decided to tell us "enjoy" with the same condescending tone. Once we sat down, I asked the waitress if she could explain the daily specials, but then she quickly replied, "now that we're at a different table, the other waitress/waiter will have to do that" since it wasn't her "zone". As we sat there, we couldn't help but notice what appeared to be a noticeable difference in how other guests were treated. The tables that gave off what I would describe as a more "upper class" appearance, well-dressed white guests who appeared more affluent, seemed to receive a warmer welcome and far more attentive service. Whether that was intentional or not, we couldn't shake the feeling that we were viewed differently. I'm white myself, but perhaps my tattoos or the fact that I was dining with my Brazilian wife caused us to be perceived differently. I honestly don't know. What I do know is that we left feeling like we didn't fit the restaurant's idea of its preferred clientele. For example, our waitress never offered us the option of tap or bottled water, while nearby "upper class" tables were given that choice. Around 6:10 p.m., we ordered appetizers, which took roughly 20 minutes to arrive, while tables seated after us were already receiving their food. We then placed our entrée orders and waited... and waited... and waited. In addition, we found a hair in the salad that we ordered, and when we brought it up to the waitress, her only answer was "that's impossible, everyone in the kitchen wears hairnets... At approximately 6:40 p.m., the hostess came to our table and explained there had been a "mix-up" because we had switched tables, causing our entrée order to be delayed. That explanation made very little sense. How does simply switching tables result in an order being delayed by that much? It pointed to a serious lack of communication between the front of the house and the kitchen. By approximately 6:50 p.m., I believe a manager came to our table and asked if there was anything he could do. At that point, I bluntly asked for the check because waiting well over an hour for our food was simply unacceptable. Ironically, our entrées finally arrived around 7:00 p.m., but by then we had completely lost our appetite. I sent the food back and again requested the check. Even then, it still took another 10 minutes to receive it. To the hostess's credit, she apologized, and I told her I appreciated the apology. However, I also explained that this restaurant clearly has a major communication problem. More importantly, the dismissive attitude we experienced from the moment we walked in set the tone for the entire evening and left us feeling unwelcome. In a nutshell: We waited an hour and a half for our food we never received, we were mistreated, felt discriminated, and there were still PLENTY of open tables in the patio facing the sun. This was our first visit to Narragansett, and unfortunately it was not the welcome we expected. I didn't even bother asking if the restaurant offered a military discount because, by that point, I already felt like we didn't belong. We will NEVER return.
