I don't get my apartment professionally cleaned often, but I had a new roommate moving in, so I decided to make the place extra spic n' span. I hired Purple Fig specifically because they use more natural products and because they seemed like a very community-oriented company. The cleaning was impeccable - they got into all the nooks and crannies I never think of (like the bolts at the base of the toilet). Plus everything smelled wonderful - I think it was almost a very light pine or eucalyptus scent. When I came home a little early the ladies were very polite and warm - they didn't make me feel like I wasn't welcome to be there if I wanted - which is what I've felt with other services. Also, the owner, Amanda, is really easy to work with. I had to reschedule a couple times and she was very accommodating. All-in-all it was just a really good experience. read more

I have known Amanda for a couple years now. I was very happy to use her services in recent times. Her crew was very professional and did an amazing job. I was very happy with the green cleaning products they use and would say their pricing is very reasonable for the great services they provided. I highly recommend The Purple Fig for all your house cleaning needs! read more

The Purple Fig staff is professional and helpful, and they do an amazing job! Our place was so clean after their first visit we could hardly believe it. They did not mind our dog hanging out while they cleaned which was great because we do not usually crate her. The eco-products are important to us because my husband has sensitivity to chemicals and scents, and we want to support local businesses that are concerned about their environmental impact and labor practices. Purple Fig hits all the marks! I would highly, highly recommend. read more

The Purple Fig has been faithfully cleaning my home, every two weeks, for four months. Each clean has been of outstanding quality and they must use some sort of magic to remove pet hair. I was hesitant about using a cleaning service, rather than one person, out of concerns over lack of communication and having multiple people clean my home, but boy was I wrong! Communication has been excellent yet easy, and the cleanings have been consistently top notch. The raves don't stop there though! It's also set up online, payment goes through automatically, they use their own equipment, make all natural cleaning solutions, and provide a living wage (with insurance) to their employees. They are a model business. However, duplicating this business would mean cloning Lauren, the office manager, and there's only one of her! She is truly a rare gem. read more

I just had my first experience with The Purple Fig and I'm thrilled! I don't know if my house has ever been this clean! I really liked that they don't use harsh chemicals and the fact that they are so thorough. Other reviews mention that the price is high, but you get what you pay for. The team is hard working, polite, and professional, and the work top-notch. read more

Aside from the swift and ridiculously thorough job the crew does every 2 weeks, the online and phone customer service from Laura and Amanda are out of this world. The employees are so kind and cool and I feel 100% about leaving them to do their work. Trustworthy, green and laid back. The price is right and worth it, if you know what hard cleaning work costs. No one is faster. Hire Purple Fig. read more

I used Purple Fig for my move-out because of their "keeping it green" mantra and a recommendation from a friend. The service was excellent. The staff was superfriendly, very accessible, and punctual. I was given a walk through the house to let me know what and how everything would be cleaned. I was so impressed with their cleaning service that I used them again for my move-in and still for the occasional big cleans. My friends and I have become huge fans of their amazingly scented cleaning products and would recommend this Austin-Gem in a heartbeat! read more

Wonderful experience! I love the smell after purple fig cleans my house! All natural! read more

I decided to give the Purple Fig a try after years of cleaning myself or hiring other companies whose quality didn't satisfy. The results: cleaning was practically perfect, service was good. The initial appointment was easily booked. The owner wanted to do a walk-through a few days before but didn't show. Phone call from me, no response for a little while. Later got a callback and we decided to forget the walkthrough--turned out it wasn't necessary anyway. On the day of, the 2 person crew arrived exactly on time, brought all the needed equipment and cleaners, worked efficiently and quietly while I worked from home, and were respectful of my skittish cat. The supervisor came by to check during the clean, much appreciated! My 2800 sq. ft. house was clean in under 3 hours and I paid less than the estimate. I got the deep clean for the first clean and it was worth it! They washed every single slat of my 15 blinds and scrubbed the baseboards in addition to cleaning everything else. I got a call the next day to check on my satisfaction, had a couple of very minor changes I wanted, and they will be taken care of next time. Bottom line: I loved that my house smelled clean and not like cleaning products!! Crew worked efficiently but thoroughly, and I felt comfortable throughout. read more

I have used Purple Fig for both my office and my home and would recommend them 10/10 times. My office is far from the ideal client, we are messy and commonly have events in our space that result in a frat house like hangover mess. Amanda, Lauren and the entire team are always all hands on deck ensuring the office is sparkly clean the next day. Amanda met monthly with us to make sure her team is meeting all expectations and was always a pleasure to work with. Recently I had the pleasure of having them clean my home. I am a new mom with a 1 month old and the team had to work around me and baby in the house, they did a remarkable job of not only being courteous of my space but making sure my house was superbly clean relieving a huge stress for a new mom. Not to mention the cleaner they use smells amazing and I wish I could buy it for my own use!!! Thank you Amanda & team for always taking care of us! read more

We love the Purple Figs! Our house feels good after they visit and apply their kind, considerate, and effective cleaning methods and products. Thank you PF! read more

I've had The Purple Fig out to help us clean several times since our baby was born, and I've LOVED their work! This past time, after suspending regular cleaning for a while to save money, we were really overdue for a deep clean. The entire house was covered with a thin layer of dust/dirt/grime and it looks and feels (and smells!) SO much better now. Even the baseboards look better! Having a clean home where our baby can crawl on the floors more safely has truly lifted our spirits :) read more

So good! I love coming home after Purple Fig has cleaned my house! Honest, hard working, careful, thorough, knowledgeable... the best. And also friendly and caring. They bring all of their own equipment and cleaners, which are truly top notch, natural and nontoxic. I love the oregano-mint countertop cleaner - smells fantastic! read more

We had The Purple Fig out last week to do a standard whole house clean. Very pleasant to walk into the house and have everything smelling minty fresh after a full days work. Our specific work requests were completed and as well as some pesky items that we rarely get around to. This company is priced slightly higher than some other options but it's nice to know they are environmentally concientious while also taking care of their team by offering living wages and health care options. We will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Fabulous job! Very pleased with the attention to detail. Overall, fast and efficient. Will definitely book again.

Let's keep it simple here. When I got a call back from The Purple Fig about having my house cleaned they gave me this very confusing scenario where 1 person = 1 hour of labor and 2 people = 2 hour of labor. This is where it gets confusing, if I wanted an actual 2 hours of cleaning I would have to go with 1 person, if I went with 2 people that would have equated to only hour of cleaning. All I wanted is a completely clean house for a flat fee that is reasonable. Based upon the equation I presented earlier it would have been roughly $120 to clean a somewhat small house. My advice coming from the shark tank is keep your cleaning rates competitive, no one is willing to be nit picked about having their house cleaned, especially busy working individuals as myself who deals in financial derivatives on a daily basis and I found this cleaning equation by the Purple Fig much too complex. They did give us a refund though...woohoo! Just trying to give critical feedback here to keep you guys in business and stay competitive :) read more

The Purple Fig knocked it out of the park on their very first clean! They excel on so many levels: spotless and careful cleaning, eco-friendly and effective products, OVER THE TOP AWESOME customer service, easy online scheduling and communication, and they really think of every detail ahead of time. They made it so easy and my house has never looked better. read more

I was so hopeful!! I found the service to be terrible. I had the service for move in ready. While the fridge was cleaned and the oven as well for almost $400 I had MUCH higher expectations. The bathroom was left with mold in the toilet, a leaf and other particles in a bathroom drawer. There was thick dust and paper left on the wind ledges. The cabinets remained dust. There wasn't any furniture in the 1100 sq ft home. For that kind of money I expected A LOT more. I did receive a verbal apology, but that hardly helpful. I only gave 1 star because I had to in order to post. read more

I honestly can't rate their service because they never showed up. Or called. Or emailed. They didn't answer the phone or return any of my calls or emails either. They seem nice enough, but the business end of their service needs some serious work. read more

Purple Fig has been cleaning my home twice a month for the past two years and I really have no complaints. They use all natural products, clean the house top to bottom and are friendly and easy to work with. They are great at communicating with me and always willing to be flexible if I am going to be out of town on my scheduled day. If you love having your house shiny and smelling like wonderful essential oils...call them up! read more

Thank you all for the great service you provide! My house turned out great and as a pet owner I love knowing that no harsh chemicals were used. :) You've found yourself a repeat customer. read more

5 stars hands down! I am moving to NYC and will miss Purple Fig. I will miss the trust in having each person in my home, knowing they are good people and love what they do. I will miss coming in smelling aromatherapy and yummy home made cleaning supplies. I will miss the easy scheduling with Lauren! You get what u pay for, and I only recommend Purple Fig :) read more

after moving to austin and developing really bad allergies, i wanted to eliminate as many "chemicals" in the house as reasonably possible and cleaning products was high on my list. i tried a few different cleaning companies and was always left a little skeptical of how green they all claimed to be which is why i'm so happy i found purple fig - they truly are as eco friendly as they say they are. they cleaned my whole house top to bottom, everything was gleaming afterwards and i looooooved how the whole house smelled pepperminty when they left. they were also extremely efficient and came completely outfitted with all the proper supplies and gear (i've had so many cleaners ask for extra cleaning cloths, swiffers, etc !). my husband even commented how clean the place looked when he returned from a work trip the next day! the best part, at least for me, was that they were all extremely friendly, kind and very open to any requests or suggestions. there's always something a little unsettling about strangers in your home for a few hours but i was so relieved when purple fig arrived. one other thing i might add - i found their rates pretty competitive given the size of the house, cleaning that needed to be done and that they used only green products. read more

The Purple Fig is awesome! They are more expensive than my previous cleaning service but totally worth it. The team was on time and finished the Deep Eddy in under 3-1/2 hours. The house was spotless and I didn't realize how much my previous service missed - exterior cabinets, light switches, light fixtures, vent fan. I added the oven clean and my oven looks like new. Lauren has been great with scheduling, follow up and sharing the company philosophy. I highly recommend! read more

We've used Purple Fig for 6 months. They are awesome. Customer service is fantastic. Service is great. I can't say enough. Seriously, having a company that responds to your needs promptly, has great communication, and values the customer is amazing. Highly highly recommend. read more

Awesome job! I did a little happy dance after they left! It's so nice to have the entire house clean at once. We did the Deep Eddy Clean for the first job and have already booked our next cleaning. Aside from being eco-friendly with their cleaning products, my husband liked that they pay their employees a living wage. They checked in afterwards and will work with you on little details you would like to fit in. read more

Amanda the owner was very nice on the phone and the service was prompt. I would reccommend Purple Fig to anyone who wants a nontoxic, fresh smelling household. :-) read more

I've had nothing but great experiences with Purple Fig. As a Virgo, I feel that my standards for cleanliness are pretty high - Purple Fig has always met and/or exceeded them. I enjoy their professionalism and prompt responses to my messages. Their environmentally friendly products are also a plus. I highly recommend both their products and cleaning services. read more

I was referred to Purple Fig after my friend (who owns a cleaning business) couldn't get up to clean our new home when we needed her to. Haha, how dare her have a life!;) She recommended Purple Fig and I checked their website and the prices were reasonable and they had avail...double win. I spoke with Sarah on the phone and she was so nice and calm and patient as I asked her a gajillion questions. We got the clean scheduled and all was well. I had a really funky time frame to work with because we just purchased the home but we had a lot of upgrades that had to be done and we needed to fit getting it cleaned in there. They were champs and went with it. When they got there, thanks to a water leak (awesome, thanks again vacant home and lazy previous owners), they had to cut the clean short. Now, I will tell you, they cut it short on their own free will. Sarah and Faye came to me and explained how they did everything they could but they didn't want to waste my time or money and pay them to keep cleaning the same things instead of the things they had to use water for. I was so impressed by that and their attitudes and kindness that I will continue to use them for all of my house cleaning needs and I will recommend them every time! Amanda the owner is so super sweet as well and honestly, I think they are a great company and worth every penny. I mean seriously, who comes to clean houses and is still in such a fantastic mood and still be so super sweet?! These girls. Call them...you won't regret it!:) read more

Our apartment looks and smells amazing after Purple Fig comes to clean it! I was worried at first about trying something new in Austin. However, this company has the best model and service. I'm so glad I found them and I will never use anyone else. They have a very professional team and scheduling is easy. Support this local business! read more

I picked up the Eucalyptus Lemon all purpose spray at the famers market a few weeks ago, and I am in love! I've had difficulty finding a cleaning service that is reliable, conscientious, affordable and thorough. My difficulties are over! The Purple Fig cleaning service is wonderful! They do what they say they will do and sometimes a little more. They are friendly and efficient. The company pays a living wage to its employees and includes benefits. I love this! And they use environmentally responsible cleaning products. I was even able to work with them to figure out what services were my priority to fit my budget. I highly recommend The Purple Fig! read more

I highly recommend The Purple Fig. I have tried other companies and this one is by far the best! They are very flexible when it comes to working with my schedule and they don't mind coming to a home with numerous animals. I came home to a super clean home, with shining floors and a great, not-in-your-face smell. I did not realize random spots that other cleaners (and me) had missed until I saw them spotless. I will be using The Purple Fig from now on!! read more

I had some friends coming into town for ACL and I knew I wouldn't have time to get my place looking guest-ready, so I called the Purple Fig. I heard of them through a friend who met them at the farmer's market. They did a fantastic job! The lady who answered the phone, Holly I think, had a lot of great information and was able to squeeze me in. Oh, and everyone spoke english so I was able to communicate with them while they were here. I'll definitely be calling them again. read more

The Purple Fig has been cleaning my apartment for while now. A friend turned me on to them a while back and I am glad he did. I work from home and I really appreciate that I can communicate in English with them. The cleaner I had previously always seemed to have a crisis of some sort and there was a lot of rescheduling through choppy communication. Purple Fig has been turnkey-- I'll gladly pay a little bit more for service. They also provide health insurance for their employees, which is a plus. But the best part about them? Holly, the manager, responds promptly to texts. The few times I've needed to make some changes it was a seamless transaction. Highly recommended. read more

Amanda was great about returning my emails and texts. I had to get my boss's 2,000 square feet condo cleaned by a Saturday and I called The Purple Fig on a Wednesday...Amanda assured the place would look great and it did! There was some delay on my part in payment and she was very patient and understanding. I will definitely use The Purple Fig again and will recommend their services to friends and family. read more

It was so nice to come home the day of my first cleaning from Purple Fig and open the door to that fresh, clean smell - not harsh chemical clean, but their amazing mint/oregano/eucalyptus concoctions that practically double as aromatherapy (but still get the job done). The apartment was spotless. The cleaning was thorough, the service was friendly and efficient, and I feel good about supporting a local business that supports their staff and cares about the environment. I'll definitely be back! read more

Wonderful experience! This was our first time using Purple Fig, and it won't be our last. First, they really bent over backwards to work us into a very busy holiday schedule. The crew who came were incredibly friendly, professional, and did a really thorough job. We had the "Deep Eddy" clean -- which I highly recommend if you have pets. Our baseboards and under the beds are spotless, floors are gleaming, and the house smells great -- like fresh eucalyptus. Plus, they did a great job working around our ongoing bathroom renovation and were in and out in two hours. I've already recommended them to our neighbors! read more
