The drinks are reasonably priced, and I highly recommend the Negroni--it was excellent. Our bartender was friendly, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome. One of the bar's most charming features is that it's service-animal friendly. During our visit, a friendly husky wandered around greeting patrons, adding to the relaxed, neighborhood feel. They also have a resident kitten named Whisky, who was equally sociable after waking from his nap. The food menu is small, but the pigs in a blanket were surprisingly delicious. Another nice touch is that they encourage guests to bring in food from nearby restaurants, making it easy to enjoy a meal alongside your drinks. The Evergreen is a cozy neighborhood dive bar tucked into a residential corner of Bushwick, at the intersection of Moffat Street and Evergreen Avenue--a fitting inspiration for its name. The interior has a dark, rustic character that feels authentic and inviting. Open until 4:00 AM every night, it's an ideal spot for both an after-work drink and a late-night gathering. The bar is welcoming to everyone and has a great atmosphere. There are plenty of ways to stay entertained with shuffleboard, pinball machines, and arcade games, with a small outdoor space perfect for summer nights. Overall, The Evergreen is a friendly, unpretentious neighborhood gem with great drinks, warm hospitality, and plenty of personality. I'll definitely be returning.

The place is dirty, the dog barks nonstop, and she said she was sick but still made drinks without washing her hands. The only good thing? Cheap drinks

During…read moremy last visit back in the spring, I came for take-out and was given a tour of the dining room, so it was great to finally dine there. I love the ambiance. It feels so welcoming and comfortable. The chips and salsa were addicting. I love how they have a variety of different sauces, and some spicy some mild. I ordered the quesadilla, which was a bit odd for me to do as I never order a quesadilla. My thought process was that since I LOVED their burrito the last time, they must make a good quesadilla. And let me tell you, that hypothesis proved right! It was perfectly crisp on the edges, the chicken was tender, and the cheese was still quite warm. A great quesadilla is all about the mouth feel and they delivered in spades! And I haven't even mentioned the service. They're great at being attentive while not hovering. They kept our waters filled to the brim all dinner long and were always a moments away if we needed something. It's restaurants like these that really help Wilson Ave come to life. I can't wait to dine at their rear patio next!

I cant remember the flavor but it was good. I ordered 2 steak & chicken, chips & salsa. Overall, it was good. I didnt have any complaints. The vibe is dope, & they have backyard as well. Once we started to walk out than it got busy. Ill definitely come back again.

Their passion fruit and guava drink instantly eased my nerves and got me ready to perform my set. Apparently they have food too but didn't get to try this time around. I really love when bar tenders chat with you and see how you're doing. Xavier told me he wanted to try stand up comedy for years but is hesitant to pull the trigger. If you're reading this, go for it! Mans already funnier than most of the open mic'ers and I believe in you!

So I parked and walked in and I'm glad I did. Greg the bartender came right over and he suggested the house blend red wine. Wow nice! Smooth no bite of an aftertaste! I'm at the end of the bar and I see that a cute little dog is being held by her mommy. Her name is Ramen, the doggie that is,(like the noodle I'm told) I'm asked if I'd like to hold her? SURE! I love dogs and this beautiful miniature poodle is a doll. I chat with Greg and find out he's a jazz saxophone musician. Oh gosh that is cool. I tell him I'm a Chet Baker fanatic. He plays at Orinthology another of my favorite places On Tuesdays. Another guy named Jacques starts to leave and I motion for him to stay He has a fascinating story about his family who survived the Nazi occupation of Paris. His grandfather was a noted mathematician and they managed to escape to America again the topic turned to music and jazz. Another guy Billy joins in. Seems that the neighborhood is being gentrified with rents being jacked up!! Overall though the company is so friendly and welcoming! What a serendipitous moment! I have one more vino and wish everyone a good week! Btw the price for two glasses of wine and a can of beer $16.25! WOW! Thanks Greg! I'll definitely be frequenting Double
