This place rules. While the name is misleading and you'll be disappointed if you're coming here looking to do any sort of skating, what you'll find instead is a charming bar with nostalgic decor and an entire room of arcade games. Whether it's NBA Jam or Pinball, the games here actually work and give you something to do as you imbibe. I went around Thanksgiving weekend and appreciated the creepy human-sized Chewbacca that moves it's face, greeting guests under the lovely disco ball above. Frozen drinks, wine, hard seltzer and cocktails occupy most of their menu space, at great prices. Mostly I'm charmed by the kitsch of it all, and the booth seating that is perfect for 6 friends but no more. Their full calendar of events include drag shows, dance parties, and karaoke nights. Apparently if you actually do come in skates they'll give you a discount on drinks, so go on and live out your skate dreams here. read more

Tasty drinks and a super fun vibe in here! Very kind bar staff. Would love to return sometime for a drag show or check out the arcade. read more

All Night Skate - N/A sparkling yuzu juice, De La Casa, Green Light Go - Bars Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I came with skates, I made a mistake... Haha well you can and you get 10% off your bill if you're wearing them according to the bartender. I wanted to go skating and googled local rinks near me and this BAR/ arcade came up. Upon arrival I was funkdafied. Cute very disco like decor and the feels felt like a good time. Just not a skating rink! Haha Ordered a happy hour frozen $5 pina colada with a $4 floater for good measure. It was tasty. They also host shows etc according to the bartender. LGBTQ friendly as per the decor. Arcade is dope and there are classic games ofc at a higher price point than we remember but hey it's worth it! Overall an ok experience. 2 thumbs up for a flavorful drink and a really nice bartender. Would return if I were in the area and wanted cheap drinks and a fun themed time read more

All Night Skate -- Brooklyn, NY Let's clear something up first -- there's no skating. I know the name throws people off, but this ain't a roller rink. It's a Brooklyn bar with personality, great food, and vibes that shift depending on the night -- in the best way possible. The food? Wild underrated. Way better than it needs to be for a bar like this. Legit bar bites that hit when you're halfway through your second drink, and the kitchen keeps it consistent. Drinks are on the cheaper side, which in NYC is practically a miracle, and the bartenders know what they're doing without the "too cool to care" energy. Now here's the important part: This is a gender-inclusive bar -- super welcoming, affirming, and intentional about the energy inside. So if you're coming in with outdated, bro-y nonsense? Don't. The space isn't for that. It's for folks who want to hang, connect, and actually respect the room. Upstairs area? Fire. Dope little lounge setup with seating, and yes -- there's arcade games, places to post up, and a perfect view to scout the scene without being in the middle of it. Different nights have different events -- DJs, theme nights, maybe a little chaos -- but always a good time if you come correct. Bar Rating: (4 out of 5) "Inclusive, lowkey, and delicious. Come hungry, come cool, and you'll leave happy." -- Shaq After Dark Bathroom Review Bathroom Rating: (3 out of 5) Space - Cozy but not uncomfortable. Solo mission friendly. Availability - You won't be waiting forever, even when it's busy. Accessories - No frills. It does the job, but you're not finding hand lotion. Design - Funky in that dive bar way -- not ugly, but definitely not curated. Safety - Feels secure and inclusive. Full marks for comfort. "Three stars -- nothing fancy, but it holds it down. You're in and out, and that's all you need." -- Shaq After Dark read more

Went here because it was recommended to me and my friend and they had downeast cider which is some of my favorite cider ever!! They have some fun arcade games and we played some super smash bros. We had the best time here and my friend won twice on the claw machine. Would come here again. read more

I'm a sucker for anything passion fruit and the star fruit cocktail went down far too easy haha! Fun vibe, good prices. Having mr taco there is definitely necessary for any kind of snack or food, so not sure to include them here in this review or not, but it's a solid offering. read more

This bar is easily the hidden gem place in all of Brooklyn. There's a sense of fun and safety in its decor, delicious drinks, and warm community. Once you check out this bar for the first time, you will keep coming back! Doesn't hurt that I met the love of my life here as well! Happy bonus and testament to the great vibe and people! read more

This place is the most fun. Incredible 90s ambience. Was hopping on a Wednesday night. We loved the 3 little piggies nachos with the added verde salsa... plenty for two people. Got seating right away. I really enjoyed my $8 blood orange pale ale. Such a cool and casual vibe. Lots of outdoor seating for those that didn't get a spot indoors. If I lived in the area... I would be here all the time! The bartenders were super friendly and made such a welcoming environment. read more

I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE!! I came here for the first time yesterday for a little early birthday celebration. It was my first time here. I've been missing out!! It's very easy to get here from the surrounding areas. The Chauncey stop on the J train is two blocks away. Along with the B20 & 60 buses. You can't miss it from the street. It's a huge pink building on the corner. They have an enormous covered outdoor seating section. Must be nice in the warmer months. There's plenty of room inside as well. The bar is long and has lots of seating. They have various kinds of seating. A few tables and stools and booth seating. They also have a narrow, winding staircase that leads up to a second floor with more seating. The ambiance was chill and crazy friendly. Everyone who works here was great! They light up and revolve a disco ball as the hours pass. The music when I was here leaned more towards indie pop with some New Wave here and there. They have a jukebox, but I don't think it was functional. On the left side of the bar, they have boardgames. I saw The Secret World of Alex Mac, Girl Talk, a New Kids on the Block one... had a good variety. I started off with a well Gin and Tonic. Wasn't the best, but I suppose that was my fault for getting the well Gin. My second drink was MUCH better. They have 2 frozen drinks. I got the Pain Killer with a shot of Goslings dark rum. The Pain Killer is Pina Colada with orange jjuice. That drink was !! The Great South Bay Tipsy Tea I also had there was the best alcoholic tea that I've had. Their cocktail menu is vast, and they have a great selection of cans and stuff on tap. Also a pretty decent wine selection. There's also a bucket of free condoms on the bar if you need. In the back is the game room, and Mr. Taco kitchen. They have Pac Man and a few other arcade games along with pinball and a claw machine game that was pretty easy to play since I was able to grab 2 stuffed octopuses! The kitchen opens up at 4, and it has a pretty big Mexian menu. I had the grilled shrimp bowl with a side of off the cob street corn. Oh my gosh, that food was absolutely YUMMY! My bowl was actually served in a ceramic bowl. The portions were generous, and my meal was under $20. I tried some of my friends' fries, and they were delicious as well. Perfectly cooked, huge, and fluffy. The kitchen also delivers! The place is spotless. I think there were two single bathrooms in the place. The one I went to was clean, stocked, and fully functional. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and good times. Can't get better than that! read more

Great atmosphere super welcoming NOT FOR KIDS but maybe you can sneak'm in before the bouncers show up, because the food is off the chain and worth it for seconds ! Drink lineup is pretty good price point on point and the staff is so welcoming no pressure to order or to get going the place is lively and gets more interesting the later you stay. Fun bar. Came here on Halloween weekend. Good portion of patrons were customed. Good vibes here. Music leaned towards new wave 80s rock. Simple draft beers with a focus on crafts in mixing some local options. No fancy spirits; just well priced drinks. Service was friendly and on point. Grabbed a couple quesadillas from the adjoins taco spot. I had the cactus quesadilla. I thought it was great. read more

Cute place to have retro game place and good drink and hearty tacos...I would highly suggest

Happiest place in Brooklyn This bar is definitely a go to whenever I'm in BK Also try MrTacoNYC tacos read more

Covid Review: Solid place with even more solid drinks. Self-proclaimed as a cocktail bar first then amusement center second. They actually make the drinks when ordered instead of serving from large pre-made vats typical in the the age of Corona. Even better, drinks are served in real barware instead of plastic. This place will be an amusement center and skating rink eventually but, you know, COVID. Kitchen is closed on Sundays so only cold food served or you can bring some in. Lovely large patio out front. Food looks gnarly and I recommend "The Chaperone" as a drink. read more

All Night Skate - Menu - Bars Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Great vibes great food great drinks and video games! One of the best bars in Brooklyn.

Fun date spot! The space is exactly as advertised, a kitschy throwback replete with arcade. I loved the variety of seating options which were perfect for someone coming alone to sit at the bar, a small group of friends to take some downstairs tables, or a cozier couple to sit upstairs in a booth. Two improvement areas / things to note if you are going: 1. We came on a night when the food menu is limited and we didn't realize how quickly things would sell out. By the time we had our first drink and went to order food everything was sold out except a cucumber salad. So if you are planning to eat either order ASAP when you arrive or make sure you go on a night their menu is more extensive. 2. The music was really loud to the point that my date and I both noted we felt like we had to yell to hear each other. Easy fix but definitely suggested. read more

All Night Skate is a great place to grab a quick drink or have a casual night with friends. The bar's theme is diner, which I had never seen before. Very cute! I ordered the Prom Night drink. If you aren't into Mezcal, you probably wouldn't like this. The Mezcal is pretty distinct in this drink. The pomegranate balances it out, but it is still recognizable. We ordered a basket of fries ($8). Just your average fries - nothing spectator but nothing terrible. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, and I am certainly bound to come back! read more

This bar is perfect. Good drinks, good music and DJs, nice bar tenders, fun themed nights. Its my favorite bar

Loved the vibe of this place. It feels like a mix between a 70's diner and someone's basement bar...the stools, the menu on the wall and the board games gave me that feel. The music (90's and 00's hip hop & r&b) were a VIBE!!! And the drinks!!! So damn good. Not too sweet, not too strong. They were mixed perfectly. Can't wait to go back and try some more. read more

These guys have created a WORLD here. Truly positive and welcoming experience from the get go. A bar created from love but not at all lacking in professionalism. Be it a night out with friends, a first date or simply a spot to chill all by your lonesome - this is the place. Charming design, well priced drinks and solid bar food. They also have a stacked arcade in the back - what more do you need? read more

I love this bar, it has an amazing community vibe, killer good and an adventurous cocktail menu. Great dancing some nights, great drag shows other nights, great date vibes the rest of the time. I hesitate to write this review because All Night Skate is the best kept secret in Bed-Stuy. Funky, friendly, bartenders, with exceptional cocktails, and the best mix of patrons. The drag shows are the crowning centerpiece. Get cozy or get lit under the high ceilings, faded neon lights, and disco ball. 90's fans unite. read more

I love this addition to the neighborhood! All night skate makes my 80's baby heart sing with all the early 90's nostalgia that shaped so much of my life with a beautifully curated menu of well crafted cocktails. I also love what they have done with the space. I bartend and I've been dying for a legit cocktail spot I could go walk to from home for going on 6 years. Not to say there aren't bars nearby but I can't get a deliciously well balanced pear cocktail and a Montenegro spritz at those other bars. So far I love Olivia and Steve! Can't wait to connect with the rest of the crew. I've found my neighborhood bar! read more

This place is so cute! Love the ambiance and the staff is amazing. If you're looking for a disco vibe with great drinks and food, this is the place to be! Danny and Mitch were fantastic! Made sure we enjoyed everything, made great recommendations, and had a blast with us. Please try all they're fun and flavorful cocktails. Can't beat them. They're bold and different. A little pricy, but totally worth it! The chicken bites are to die for. Extremely crispy but so so juicy. I can't wait to go back for them! Or to even try they're other food items. The restaurant smelled heavenly the entire time I was there and it made it near impossible not to order more food. Thanks again for a great time!! Would definitely come back. read more

All Night Skate - Drinks: Prom Night, Rink Royalty Food: Chicken Karaage, Basket of Fries (spicy) - Bars Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

If you're looking for a comfy, intimate setting for a few drinks with friends or a partner--this is the spot. The 80s/90s decor is a bonus, framed animorphs book covers on the bar was a great touch. I went for the first time for a family friend's birthday this past weekend. The drinks themselves are not cheap, but that is warranted with how good they taste and the amount of alcohol they give you. I had the drink with pop rocks on the rim, I was lit after four of them and I still wanted more! Lastly the food is wonderful. The guac and chips was addicting and the pulled pork quesadilla was savory and filling. Also as an added bonus this seemed like a super inclusive, queer friendly establishment. Myself and my partner felt very comfortable. Definitely will be back! read more

it's lovely. it's queer friendly. we had Mexican food next door; that was ok. drinks were splendid. skating is not the aim, drinking, vibin', and playing arcade games is. read more

I've been here several times and it's an okay spot if you don't want to travel far & still hang out. I really wish they'd partner back with the previous food provider that made the Japanese food because that chicken katsu bowl was so delicious & so was their onigiri's. The Mexican food was okay to me & it's a bit pricey. I will say I don't really like any of their specialty drinks & the cups be too small for the cost of the drink ! (LOL) they do have games here as well. read more

Co, quirky spot with a retro theme. Drinks are cool and the chicken tinga tacos were outta sight . Definitely recommend
