Decided to try this place for lunch. It was good option and really enjoyed my visit. It was empty when we went but the staff was really nice and helpful. They do a great margarita pitcher special that was great for my party of four. I ordered the barbacoa tacos and they were incredible. They were super flavorful. The rice and beans were fine. Overall this is a good place for lunch

I enjoyed this spot so much that I came back the next day! Our server Katelynn was so great! She was attentive, helpful, kind, and funny. The food was so good. I started off with appetizers and of course had to get chips and guac. Best part is the chips are homemade so they are a bit thicker and so delicious. Also, the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. Also, we did order the chips and cheese if you are a fan of nachos and cheese, you definitely want to get this dish. The cheese was so good creamy flavorful and delicious. Next, I ordered the steak burrito, which was something that Katelyn recommended amazing. It was a great portion, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. The burrito was rolled perfectly. When I came back the second time I ordered the shrimp tacos, and I was very excited because it was fried shrimp and I can tell you right now. It was absolutely divine. The flavors were on point. The shrimp was cooked beautifully and the other thing I ordered that you definitely want to get your hands on is the empanada of the day When I went it was a shrimp and empanada, and it was absolutely amazing. My goodness it was cooked perfectly. One of my favorite parts was the drinks I ordered a strawberry frozen margarita as well as a pomegranate frozen margarita and they were both amazing shout out to the bartender. He is so great. He knows what he's doing. So you can easily see why this restaurant has definitely earned a spot on my list

Really cute spot just off the beltline! They also have a free parking lot in the back. Skinny love marg and mojito were great. They have a pitcher & dip deal for $40 on Wednesdays and $3.50 tacos on Tuesdays. You could tell the chips were fresh, and the portions are large enough that we both had leftovers. The burrito was really good but a lil spicy. The quesadillas weren't your traditional quesadillas (not served in a tortilla). They use corn-mesa turnovers and stuff the toppings inside, which was unique and really delicious. Overall food was great, drinks were great, service was great! The only (very small) complaint was that their Coke was served in a can and not out of a fountain lol.

One of the best margaritas I've had in life lol. It's mixed so swell and packed with a powerful punch but you cannot taste the tequila! Wonderful, right? Unless you're driving. The freshest fajita, too. You can literally watch the kitchen preparing fresh veggies and the mushrooms are beyond tasteful. I'll be back without a doubt. Friendly staff might I add.

If I could, I would eat here every weekend. The food is tasty, drinks are flowing, and the indoor-outdoor style is so fun. Setting: Inman park across Beetlecat; this location is easily accessible by walking on the beltline. Parking can be tough in this area! Service: Kind waitstaff who check in frequently and give you time if you're a little too busy chatting with your girls (like I am). Food: The guacamole and queso are next level. I also love the rice and beans that come with the mains, so flavorful and hit the spot!

I was not expecting my lime soup to be so big, but I think you can get a smaller size if you want it as an appetizer. There's parking along the street but theres also free parking in the neighborhood near delbar

Gotta love shrimp tacos! Perfectly seasoned, breaded and cooked then placed in a corn shell with slaw- this is the menus best item. This location is always busy, filled with large groups and those on dates- therefore service does their best to be swift and attentive, however I recommend you know what you want and get the order in for everything the first time. Great margaritas!

This is the new portion size.( Still way too many onions). This is the order of extra mushrooms.

I usually love Pure. I've brought friends and family to dine with me at this location several times. Tonight I ordered carry out and they got my order wrong. I ordered the portobello fajitas with extra mushrooms. (Since they usually include a whole onion but skimp on the other veggies). Tonight they rang me up for veggie fajitas and I didn't get any mushrooms. I called about the issue and they agreed to let me pick up some mushrooms. When I arrived they gave me like 1/3 of a container with mushrooms. I mentioned that I'd order the portobello fajitas with EXTRA mushrooms. The hostess got frustrated with me and shared that they didn't charge me for the extra. (Not my fault.) She was annoyed, but placed the order for the extra mushrooms. Then she came back over expecting me to pay an additional five dollars. So my order was wrong. I drove all the way back to get it fixed and then I was expected to pay extra for THEIR error. I decided to pass on waiting AND paying for the extra mushrooms. I'll also be passing on returning for a while. The portion size is also a lot smaller than it used to be. (Remember the rectangular container with with the white bottom? It's gone.) The food was fine but the customer service was lacking.

Ummmm... this is my second time here and was actually looking forward to visiting this location a second time. But I'm experience was less than stellar. I almost felt as if I was a burden or getting on their nerves. They definitely did not come to work to work today. No one was at the hostess stand, and both of the server and the bartender was at the bar on their phone. Looked and fail to mention that you can seat yourself... trust me the service is usually better than this but I do believe that they are extremely short staffed today and maybe not be too excited about that. The restaurant itself is super cute. Kind of like a 60/70's vibe with some natural plant life. And being that i am a plant mom I feel that makes this place even more special. It's cold here today but usually they'll have the place opened up. Definitely a indoor/outdoor thing going on. Definitely recommend visiting when it's warm out. The entire front of the building is made of garage doors which all go up SUPER COOL! The food is delicious. I have zero complaints when the food is involved. The cooks did exactly what they were suppose to do in the kitchen. The Totopos de Salmon is a warm tortilla chip topped smoked salmon, red onion, jalapeño slice, cilantro and cheese. It's the perfect little bite. It's refreshing and tasty, it's legit the combo you didn't know you needed. YUMMMM!! I also ordered the shrimp tacos. The come either fried or grilled and with a spicy mayo and a slaw. They are at best a 6/10 but still delicious. They maybe a little dry or missing something. I haven't been able to put my finger on it. The drinks are nice and strong like how I like them Pure does have a full bar but I prefer their margaritas. Trust me 2-3 of those depending of your tolerance will have you feeling great. Parking can be a bit complicated if they are busy. There are parking lots all over but it is paid parking but I highly suggest parking along the street. It's free and convenient.

Visited on National Margarita Day with my husband and was both surprised and happy that there was seating available. We got there a little after 9pm and we seated right away with menus. While they didn't have margarita day specials they did have a Dip & Sip special for Wednesdays and Thursdays. It's $39.99 for a regular or plus margarita pitcher and either queso or guac. Our server greeted us and we ordered the plus pitcher with guac and continued to look over the menu. We were brought waters and the guac came quickly after. The chips were housemade and had the right amount of crunch and salt. Guac needed a little extra salt and pepper, but overall really good. The plus margarita was perfection. I ordered the Veggie Burrito Ahogado while he ordered 2 Birria Tacos and 1 Carne Asada taco with rice and black beans. We continued talking and eating the chips and guac. Food came and we were ready to eat. Presentation was good and so was the food. My burrito was flavorful and filling. He enjoyed his tacos and thought the rice and beans were ok. Overall it was a great time. Nice ambiance and staff. The only misstep was there is no indication, nor was there a mention, that the plus margarita is $4 more. I didn't even notice until a day later that they charged me $43.99 rather than $39.99 because if I had I would have addressed it.

Pure Taqueria is a great addition to this little Inman Park dining district. Our server was one of the friendliest I've encountered in Atlanta, the kitchen was liberal on both chips AND queso, the tacos were outstanding, and the prices-- unlike every other trendy taco joint-- were actually reasonable. Pure Taqueria may not have the personality of Fritti's, quality of Soto Soto, trendiness of BarTaco, or name recognition of Ben & Jerry's, but it's still one of the best restaurants on the block.

This is a location I will absolutely stand by. I have been to the pure in Alpharetta multiple times but this location is the absolute best!! The quality and consistency is always so good and the service is top tier! I came in a group of 3 on a Friday evening and we were seated immediately on the heated patio. Our waitress gave us some amazing recommendations! We started off with the chips and queso and oh my god it was so good. The queso was great and the chips were so fresh! For my main, I got the quesadilla con pollo y queso which is basically fluffy tacos and wow!!!! They' we're fire!! The black beans were great but I always forgot I don't love the rice and just need to double beans. Someone else in my party got the flautas and loved them too. Overall 10/10

I came with a large group around 12:30pm and ordered off of the lunch menu, but for some reason was the only person at the table that was charged for a dinner plate and received a dinner portion. I ordered the cauliflower tacos and paid $40. I didn't get full from the tacos, but I stopped eating them because they weren't very appetizing. The cauliflower was very crunchy, lacked seasoning, and didn't really go well with the taco. Their bottomless chips and salsa were great though. The chips are so light and have the perfect crunch. The only issue is that since we had such a large group, the chips were finished about 10 minutes after we sat down and were never refilled, so we all kinda sat picking at the crumbs. While I didn't order the salad, many people that I was with did and it looked good. I am unsure of our servers name, but she was nice. She did fine for our 10 person table; She forgot to grab different drinks and refills but overall she was good, very friendly. We were sat outside, which half of us didn't know there as outdoor seating, but I would totally recommend. The weather was great, it wasn't loud nor crowded, and there weren't many bugs or anything. Overall, the food seems good, I just wouldn't recommend that a vegetarian or vegan goes here due to the very limited options.

As for me, I went with the nachos topped with beef and beans, and they were fantastic. The chips were crispy and held up perfectly under all the toppings--ground beef, cheese, and all the good stuff. It would've made any "master chef" proud. The salsas deserve their own mention. I honestly can't say enough about them. The little reddish salsa was my favorite, but the warm salsa was also excellent--full of flavor and a nice twist compared to the usual cold options. We also added a side of queso, because let's be honest, you can't go wrong with cheese dip. Overall, the food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy right before a Braves game at The Battery Atlanta. I'd absolutely return next time I'm in the area. Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

We had someone in our party with a gluten allergy, and our sweet server was doing his absolute best, bless. Then a good while after we'd all ordered, she was told her entrée had gluten and needed to be changed. She reordered, and almost immediately, the rest of the table's food came out. So we were left choosing between eating without her or letting everything go cold. And the plantains she'd reordered around, because she'd been told they couldn't be made gluten-free? Turns out they absolutely can be. Just miss after miss there. The spicy margarita was more of a margarita that once passed a jalapeño on the street. I asked for extra jalapeño juice and they were happy to help, but without the seeds and ribs it just couldn't deliver on the heat. I'd skip the margs next visit. This just wasn't quite the relaxed easy dinner we'd hoped for, and the price point feels like it's a step ahead of where the experience currently lands. But I'm rooting for them to get there!

It was a rainy day and my dad and I had arrived before I started grad school at Ga Tech. Our server was an Electrical Engineering student at Tech. It was appreciated after the typical chaos of moving to a new city that he happened over here my dad and I talking and he shared he went to Tech. Over the 2 decades since, I've brought friends who live here and from outside the city to enjoy the great serving and kitchen staff. My wife and I have been many times including on the restaurant's anniversary night last fall. We are sorry to hear the landlord has decided to raise the rent and sell the property. Heather has been our server multiple times. She was our server tonight as we celebrated my wife's birthday with her parents, aunt and sister. From calamari to the desert platter and entrees in between, the food was incredible. The fried lobster tails are a must. The mouse has been my wife's favorite for years. The one note is Jacob the General Manager needs to learn to trust his servers. At the beginning of the meal I let Heather know despite being a party of 7 to just bring the check to me and I'll settle up with the other guests via Venmo. And, at as we were finishing dessert, Heather came by letting me know the next party for our table was had arrived and could she bring our check. I said yes. While Heather was getting our check ($490 Food & $600+ after tip) the Manager came by telling us we needed to finish up and have our check brought. When I asked the Manager to not make this an unpleasant experience and that coming by after Heather had just communicated the situation and I had agreed she told me I should share this feedback with the General Manager. She, Jacob (GM), and I stood on the front patio where I explained what I'm sharing now: Trust your Servers. He said they were front facing and so the management likes to meet the guests. Having your Manager tell us we need to get our check and leave is not the way to meet your guests. Chef Jack and his wife (the owners) are hospitable and trust and appreciate their staff. Jacob having his Manager micromanage the servers management of tables is nowhere close the focus on service the owners have had for 26 years. I hope that Jacob and the Manager take this as a learning moment that if you hire talented people your trust talented people to bring their talents to their job. Sure it was busy. But, that's why Chef Jack hired the staff he hired. Jacob the GM needs to increase the communication with his talented team instead of using the excuse of being front facing to ever overstep their bounds on the relationship his servers have built with his guests. Heather introduced herself when we sat down. Jacob did not - nor should he have. Heather did a phenomenal job making us feel welcome, have food and drink we enjoyed, and even recognizing my wife's birthday with her favorite desert. And when the time came she handled coordinating bringing the bill and having us free the table so a new group could enjoy an evening at Agave. Jacob and the Manager need to trust their staff more. Micro-management is never a good look for your staff's morale or your guests' impressions. Please go see them for Jan 31st 2026 when they close. The servers are all wonderful as are the owners. And the food is like nothing else in Atlanta. The management simply needs to trust the talented staff from front to back of house with whom they get to work. If they're ever in doubt if a server is either providing the level of service they expect or turning tables at the rate needed to keep pace with reservations then talk to the server. The server needs to own their tables. Management should truly be of service to their staff - and you can only do that with trust and communication. Customers should never know management had a single question if the sever was doing what's needed. Because it's a bad look to come by twice about being the check. Especially when the 2nd time is in between the 1st ask if they could and the server bring the check. Of note, I already had my credit card out so that I could hand it to Heather as soon as she returned with the check. And in front of the manager, I handed Heather my credit card. Everything else was great. But, why rush guests?

Everything was delicious, the drinks ,appetizers , the meals, and the dessert. The manager,Tatum, came up to check on us and this sealed the deal to the best experience ever. The entire staff was just amazing. The ambiance was great, as I stated we landed in the loft overlooking the restaurant. I've been here more times than I can count and I'd never had the opportunity to sit up there. I choose a good spot to celebrate my birthday.

He made great recommendations on drinks and food. The TNT Cheese dip was superb. I was disappointed that the street corn was cold when it arrived at the table. I didn't mention it because I was so enchanted with the cheese dip and knew the tacos were coming so I knew the corn was going in a to go bag either way. As we were leaving a DJ was setting up. I've already inquired what the atmosphere is like for Cinco De Mayo and it was described as an all hands on deck situation and I like it.

All booths and outside tables were full so we sat at the bar. Our server was pleasant by bringing us menus and taking our drink orders promptly. The drinks are served strong so take your time! We ordered chips and guacamole, the salmon entree and the veggie bowl with grilled shrimp. The presentation of the food was very nice. The flavors weren't memorable. The shrimp seemed over cooked and it could have used a cilantro-garlic or hot sauce. Overall, to park for free, late hours, no reservations needed and good drinks - I'm surely going to return. Recommend to lovers of Mexican food and margaritas!

The menu is huge, and everything is so flavorful. My husband and I shared the fajitas for two (the Wednesday special) and enjoyed every bite. The tortillas are made fresh and are so fluffy and delicious. The steak and chicken were cooked perfectly...not overdone or dry. The sides of veggies, rice and beans were perfect. The garlic butter for dipping or sprinkling enhances every flavor!

I've eaten here before and the crowded restaurant and music make for a party atmosphere and we heard several birthday songs during our meal. But unfortunately, the service and food isn't as good as it used to be. I ordered the Shrimp Brochette and it didn't have any jalapeno and the shrimp were smaller and the bacon flavorless and they appear to be cutting costs by going with cheaper ingredients. Also they've added big chucks of vegetables as filler to disguise the smaller portions. The charro beans were okay, but the rice on the side was disappointing. The complimentary tortilla chips were very good and fresh with a flavorful (although watery) salsa. Service was abysmal and we couldn't get drink refills, get our check, or get the payment processed. They charge a premium but the service and food don't represent the expense, and it's too easy to find a small family owned Mexican restaurant that is priced better, can serve better, and taste better.
