Pappasito's was a good time! Came for happy hour and the margaritas were good and they had the spiciest tajin on the rim. The bartender said they make the tajin in house. The queso dip was good and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Cool place to grab a drink or some dinner after work or just come hang out for the vibes.

Got our drinks after 25 minutes. Beer was flat, food was under cooked and cold. The food was definitely premade.

Dropped in to try their happy hour. I didn't get anything off the happy hour menu. I had the Pappasito's Burrito. It was very good. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was perfect. Pappasito's always has a nice chill vibe. This was a quality drop in. I'm still full hours later.

Yummmmm!! Goodness. We ordered takeout from them and was not disappointed. The food was yummy and initially we thought the prices were a little high, the amount of food made up for it. It was more than enough!!!! We couldn't even eat it all ;(. Great service and good vibes!!

You could paint the whole visit at Pappasito's like a slow-rolling celebration, where the food arrives with the same energy as a mariachi trumpet warming up in the distance. The chicken tinga enchiladas hit the table first--smoky, gently spicy, and carrying that simmered-all-day depth that makes you pause mid-conversation. They've got that pulled-chicken tenderness that soaks up every bit of the tinga sauce without turning mushy. It's the kind of plate that makes you look around like, "Y'all taste this too, right?" Then come the chicken and steak fajitas, and that skillet doesn't just sizzle... it announces itself. The chicken is juicy, charred just enough to whisper fire without losing moisture, while the steak lands on the richer side--well-seasoned, tender, and cut thick enough to feel like something you actually chew and enjoy, not just inhale. And honestly, you can't talk about Pappasito's without mentioning the tableside guacamole. There's something about watching it come together right in front of you--avocados opened fresh, lime squeezed just enough, jalapeños folded in with intention--that makes it taste even brighter. It's creamy, bold, and balanced, like they've done this too many times to ever miss. But the thing holding the whole experience together? Those fresh, in-house tortillas. Warm, soft, slightly elastic, with that fresh-flour aroma that makes you want to wrap anything in them--meat, guac, maybe even your hopes and dreams. They elevate everything, turning good dishes into great bites. Altogether, it's a spot that leans into flavor, energy, and that little bit of theater that makes dining out fun again. A solid stop when you want Tex-Mex that shows up with personality.

Food was absolutely delicious! Service by the lovely Ree was beyond amazing and awesome! Ree ensured to tell us about the menu and drink choices which was on point!! Devoured the steak and shrimp fajitas sorry no pics! Ambiance was very lively and friendly and beautiful people enjoying everything! Will definitely be back! Bravo Zulu!

Love Pappasitos! My favorite thing here is the quail, it's truly delicious with excellent flavor. The flavors in all of the food here is very authentic-- everything is well seasoned and the portions are great. They just need to work on the service-- they have a lot of young people (great!) who just need training on customer service. Otherwise, will be back!

Living in Memphis, we do not have a restaurant like this, so we try to plan our trips through Atlanta so that we can eat at this yummy establishment. The steak fajitas with that yummy Mexican butter are to die for. We absolutely love them. The flavor of the steak is so tasty and the Mexican butter just puts it over the top. You want to just keep eating it even though you know you have already had enough. We got the large which says that it feeds 2-3 and it was plenty for the two of us with leftovers to take home. The service is always really fast and the restaurant is ALWAYS packed, so definitely make reservations ahead of time online to avoid that long wait. The restaurant is festive and pretty loud, but that is to be expected at a Mexican restaurant with a bar. The complimentary chips are super thin and salty, THE BEST! The salsa is served warm which is unique, but I really like it. The white queso is a little different than other casual Mexican restaurants as it is a little thicker and definitely has a kick from the jalapeños. We love this place! Definitely give it a try if you are ever in the area.

They wouldn't sit us for our reservation at 7 until 8:10 and gave us a dirty table with no menus , then after another hour of waiting to spoke to the manager, he finally came out and he started to argue with us and then finally gave a free meal to the birthday girl and we left at 10:15: It wasn't that busy , for them to make us wait that long and the food was ok to taste . Don't think we will be going back there . Couple of them ordered burritos and 1 ordered quesadillas, which she said was good . That's why there are 2 stars , for the quesadillas.

We love making Pappasito's Cantina our team's go-to spot for celebrating birthdays and work events, and they never disappoint! Christofer, our host, was incredibly welcoming and set the tone with some friendly small talk and a great overview of what to expect. Our server, Jacqueline, was on point--prompt, attentive, and just all-around fantastic. And as always, the chicken flautas were a perfect 10 out of 10, not to mention their unbeatable chips and salsa. Definitely recommend for a fun and delicious outing!

Who knew Papadueaxs had a sister restaurant. Clearly I am super late to the party. This place was a joy. We got there right before it got busy. It's everything you want in a Mexican restaurant! Great margaritas, good food and fun. We went for my friends birthday and they brought out dessert and sung to her. You are never too old to be celebrating. There was even a live band. This is a good time with great food.

The food was banging!! First let's talk about those chips... by themselves I could probably eat a basket by myself. But add that guacamole and my God. ‍kiss. My greedy husband also ordered the queso and it was smooth and delicious. Now let's get into the main entree. This is for 2 to 4 people. In true big back form we demolished it! The shrimp that is wrapped in bacon should be a dish by itself, I think it is, and I will be ordering again. The ribs were cooked on the grill and were good. The beef fajitas meat was so tender and practically melts in your mouth. Our server was also amazing! The service was great and I would definitely go again. I mean I have gone 3x's. Just without the hubby twice.

My good, service, ambiance was all good. I will definitely be back. My service got over sat with a big party. Which made him slow down with bringing us condiments. They didnt have stuff crab shrimp..which made me have to order something else...

It's just a normal girls' lunch to catch up and this place has good ambiance for a small get together. We got a nice booth by the window, love the high back of the booth, which allows me to be more relaxed =) We started with the Fuego Dip, which my friend highly recommends and she was spot on. The Fuego dips includes, steak, shrimp, chicken, and chorizo; serve along side pico and tortillas. The proteins were all cooked perfectly!! The cheese has amazing flavor from all the proteins, the pico was extremely fresh, the hot tortilla is a nice touch. Wish there were more tortillas though, but the chips they gave right when you sat down works too. I ordered the Steak Fajitas, I haven't had fajitas in a while and really wanted the sizzle. When the entree arrived, it smelled so amazing and I couldn't wait to dig into it. I'm not really sure if they make their own flour tortillas, but it was fresh and soft and warmed and absolutely delicious. The bed of peppers and onions on the bottom of the steak is nicely cooked and caramelized, the steak is super tender and flavorful. There were some queso left from our appetizer and I added some into my steak fajita which elevated it to another level!! Absolutely love the food and service is on point. Will definitely be back to try something else and for more of that Fuego Dip with that warmed tortilla.

The last several times have not been good and likely our last visit. We bring our neighborhood out for special occasions often. Including here many times. I called on Wednesday and spoke to two very nice females and scheduled a party for 10-15 people for Sunday night. She asked me to call back on Sunday once I had a firm number of people. Super nice. Called at 2:30pm on Sunday and let ring for 5 minutes. No answer. No problem. Thought we'd be fine. We arrive 15 minutes early to make sure everything was fine and our requested table was taken and they acted like I did something wrong and had no reservation. THE PLACE WAS DEAD. It still took thirty minutes to find a solution and seat us. My fiancé ordered drinks while we waited with ZERO PEOPLE AT THE BAR.....15 minutes to get drinks. Sat us in this back cubby spot. Awful. No one could move. Table was massive and super wobbly. No apologies. It took us BEGGING after AN HOUR to order our food. BEGGING. The food finally arrived and not one of us received a hot meal. It was all terrible. Our personal meals were horrendous. Carne asade and tapaquinia. Both TERRIBLE and the meat was like jerky. Nothing like we've had in the past there. The server (or anyone) looked incredibly annoyed if we asked for utensils, straws, napkins. You know, essentially what you would need to eat. I worked in service for years. I would have been thrilled if on a weekend night that was DEAD I got a party. Nope. Everyone just seemed annoyed. I've never seen this manager before but he just seemed to hate his job. Not once did he apologize. Not once did he try to make anything right. We all ate our cold orders and I don't think anyone sent food back. I'm sad for this place. I guess we will have to find something else.

That's when our server - McLovin' - appeared. Not rushed, not flustered, but steady. Assured. A man who knows where the ranch jalapeno dip was and wasn't afraid to use that power. He placed our waters down gently but with purpose. Cold. Clear. Limitless. From that moment on, we trusted him... with everything. The King's Memorial combos arrived like a vow. Enchiladas layered in sauce, rich and unapologetic, as if they had been simmering while thinking about us specifically. Each bite wrapped itself around my expectations and whispered, "You're not leaving the same." My wife and I locked eyes across the table -- the look married people give each other when something very right is happening, and there's no need to narrate it. Then came the burrito. My son's "Big As Yo Face" steak burrito didn't just arrive -- it claimed territory. Massive. Confident. Wrapped tight like it knew its own worth. McLovin' presented it without fear, without commentary, because when something is that powerful, words only get in the way. Throughout the meal, McLovin' moved like a man guided by instinct alone. Our waters refilled before thirst could even form the thought. Chips refilled at the precise moment emotional closure was achieved. He never hovered. He never vanished. He existed in that rare, perfect space between presence and mystery. We didn't order the always-delicious Margaritas. They weren't required. Ours was a sober, fully conscious awakening. When the meal ended, we sat there for a moment. Quiet. Changed. Hydrated. And satisfied beyond reason. We paid the bill reluctantly, knowing some experiences can't be relived -- only honored by returning. Chuy's served food. McLovin' served destiny. We will be back.

The order included chicken and beef enchiladas with refried beans. While eating, I discovered a foreign object that appeared to be a balled-up napkin or paper material embedded inside the refried beans, completely concealed by the food. This was not visible until I had already begun eating. My children and my friend also consumed food from the same order before the issue was discovered. This experience was extremely upsetting and has caused me ongoing anxiety about eating out, especially when ordering food for my children or sharing meals with others. Finding a foreign object inside prepared food is alarming and raises serious concerns about food handling and safety. I am posting this review to make others aware and to encourage better food safety practices at this location. I hope management takes this seriously so another family or customer does not experience the same situation.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

We had someone in our party with a gluten allergy, and our sweet server was doing his absolute best, bless. Then a good while after we'd all ordered, she was told her entrée had gluten and needed to be changed. She reordered, and almost immediately, the rest of the table's food came out. So we were left choosing between eating without her or letting everything go cold. And the plantains she'd reordered around, because she'd been told they couldn't be made gluten-free? Turns out they absolutely can be. Just miss after miss there. The spicy margarita was more of a margarita that once passed a jalapeño on the street. I asked for extra jalapeño juice and they were happy to help, but without the seeds and ribs it just couldn't deliver on the heat. I'd skip the margs next visit. This just wasn't quite the relaxed easy dinner we'd hoped for, and the price point feels like it's a step ahead of where the experience currently lands. But I'm rooting for them to get there!
