    Super cute holiday collection

Lift, tone, burn - your pain, your gain. As a Pure Barre addict, thrilled with Pure Barre Wheaton. Owner Natalie and her instructors are fantastic - take a class with Danielle, Jamie and your arms, legs, glutes, abs will thank you for days. Instructors have great attention to form, know their students and teach new sequences frequently (huge plus). Platform classes are a great option if you prefer a higher cardio/intensity to mix up your routine. Personally prefer Pure Barre over other barre companies because of the choreography, physical challenge and variety and this studio is excellent on all aspects. Have taken PB in Seattle (obsessed) and Boston (meh) consistently since 2013 - impressed with the Wheaton studio and community. Studio is clean, spacious, well-lit and feels really new - equipment is in great shape. Class size isn't ever Ultra cute barre merch ftw - great leggings and tops from Alo, Beyond Yoga and other labels. Highly recommend PB Wheaton!

I have improved in core strength and balance particularly, though Barre is an all-body workout that is low impact.

I know how rigid they are with everything so as soon as I was out of the hospital, I called and filled out a medical pause on my account and I could not come back until I had doctor clearance. Not only did I lose the three credits that I had already paid for for the month of my surgery, but my card kept getting charged even after filling out and returning the medical pause. I had to keep calling, emailing, leaving messages at the location. All while recovering from surgery. I was told the manager was not there, the manager was on vacation, someone would call me that afternoon. Well, I did take days for someone finally to call me and refund the charges. Well, then low and behold, a few months go by and they charged my card again. Again I had to make phone calls, emails, I even emailed Club Pilates corporate, I ended up canceling my membership and arguing back-and-forth that I was still not released from my doctor, they "allowed" me to be released from my contract, but still kept one month of dues as a cancellation fee. I would never step foot in a Club Pilates again for their horrible customer service their lack of understanding when people are sick or in my case, laid up from an emergency surgery. The instructors were wonderful, but that's really where it ended. I have heard people have better experiences at other locations. So maybe it's just this particular location in Glen Ellyn, that has completely horrific customer service and lack of understanding. I just was flabbergasted at my treatment. Especially because one day I got all the way to class and the class canceled for whatever reason, did I get an extra class credit to my account for my inconvenience? No, they don't practice what they preach, but I was understanding. Also, there's never anybody answering the phones, if you have an emergency or you're running late or you have a question- forget it the front desk staff maybe answers one in 10 phone calls if you're lucky. I would try a different location if you wanted to check out a Club Pilates. My rating of two stars is only because of the instructors. It would've gotten the minimum otherwise

My stress level has started to lessen as well. If you are a beginner, don't hesitate to take a pilates class at Embody Movement Pilates Studio. I wish I had started sooner.

The Wheaton location is somewhat hidden among us surrounding stores, but it's easy enough to find. Upon arrival, door access is controlled through a mobile apps so since I wasn't registered yet, one of the staff members kindly let me in. We went through a brief questionnaire discussing why I was interested in joining and what fitness goals. I was hoping to achieve this year. I was then given a tour of the facility and led to my scheduled class, which was hot yoga. Each class takes place in its own sauna, designed to accommodate about 2 to 3 people at a time. The workout itself is guided through a screen inside the sauna, which I personally did not enjoy. Classes like yoga, Pilates, it can be challenging to follow independently, and I value having an instructor present to demonstrate proper form and correct posture when needed. That hands-on guidance makes a big difference for me.. HOTWORX offers two membership packages. The highest one right now it's $80 unlimited classes at home and in person, that includes a small weight machine area in the back, you have to purchase their supplies such as their towel, mat, and one other item. It also includes an app to use on your phone to count your calories, food intake and all that great stuff. Overall, the staff was welcoming, friendly, professional, but the concept just wasn't the right fit for me. Also, if you ever plan to take a free trial, make sure to wear almost nothing and take a ton of water with you and a towel because you will sweat and be hot!!!

I started going to the Wheaton location when it open in July 2024. I enjoy doing pilates because due to having a number of chronic illnesses I found this to be one of the few workouts I can safely do with modifications. When I was going to the Naperville North location the owner was often in the studio. They were aware of my illnesses and were very kind. If anyone reading this has chronic illnesses you know that you don't always know 12 hours ahead of time if you are going to be able to make a class. Being ill doesn't work that way. I wish my life did. At the other location they gave me grace if I was ill. I have to go in the hospital usually 4x a year for a treatment for my conditions. I am in the hospital for 6 days. The next week I need to recover and can't workout. Being ill I am unable to work. Being a part of club pilates is a struggle financially but I do it because staying in shape helps my conditions. However, that being said everyone that belongs to club pilates knows that it isn't cheap. If you start throwing fees on top because you missed a class it makes you start to rethink if it is worth it. The instructors are wonderful. I think the owners of this studio are more concerned with how many studios they can open then customer service! I did cancel a class 12 hours in advance. I was still charge the cancelation fee of 10 which I just got an email that it is going to be changed to 15 dollars. Again, is this all about how much money you can get out of the people using your facility? I asked if they could check on that because $10.00 is a lot to me. I waited a week and nothing. I asked again. Now it has been over 2 weeks and no one has tried to contact me regarding being charged even though I cancel 12 hours before class. So if you are thinking about joining club pilates, yes I have loved the instructor however careful which studio you join because they are not all the same. Wheaton's owners seem to be more interested in your money then anything else.

Sometimes 24-48 hour notice is not possible, but to be assessed a fee for trying to keep their staff healthy is really disappointing. Rigid cancelation polices, especially when working with pregnant patients who can have a myriad of issues arise, can result in loss of business. I'll be looking elsewhere to complete my PT. It should also be noted that while sure, most doctors offices have a 24 hour cancellation notice, most places value the health of their clients and their staff enough to waive cancellation fees when someone is calling with unexpected illness. Helpful to know that income is what really matters to this location! The cancellation policy reminders are incessant, but reminders are sent about appointments after you have already passed the 48-hour mark. For all prospective clients - please consider whether you may ever be susceptible to an illness prior to choosing this location for your PT, they are inflexible and have a much higher cancellation fee than any other practice I have visited across the spectrum of all medical facilities.

Kathy, who was the front desk receptionist, was non-communicative. Unbeknownst to me she was allergic to my essential oil and ran around the office peering from behind walls like a caged animal every visit. It was extremely uncomfortable - first being attacked for monies before service rendered, then to being treated like a pariah for reasons not explained. All in all, it was a strange and unsettling experience. Severe customer service training is needed with communication techniques thoroughly reviewed.
