Her small classes are challenging, tailored to my specific needs, and makes me feel strong. Eva is an encouraging, patient, and is clearly passionate about Pilates and teaching. Her mat classes go through a circuit of classical Pilates positions that focus on building your core strength, increasing flexibility, and breaking bad habits like poor posture, improper breathing, and overusing your neck and shoulders which results in painful knots (my problem). The building is a bit hard to find and you have to go up to the 3rd floor. Don't let the exterior or the stairs deter you, Eva has a created a great space. Her mats are high quality, new and comfortable. She also has 3 reformer mats which are for more advanced students. Class sizes are very small so you get individualized attention. If you are at all interested in taking Pilates classes from someone caring and knows her stuff, I highly recommend Eva at Pilates Road!

I've been going to their classes since August 2025 and what a difference I've seen and felt in my posture, core strength, and flexibility! I truly believe that shifting my workouts from only heavy strength training to adding Pilates and yoga has changed my life and how I feel overall. It's located above Ramseys Kitchen and it's a small studio with mat Pilates rooms, chair Pilates, and reformer Pilates. The class sizes are small (max 8 people), which is fantastic compared to other places I've tried where the class sizes are much larger and there isn't a focus on technique and proper movement. It is a bit pricey for each class, but it's worth it because you'd be supporting a smaller, woman/POC owned business rather than a large chain. Highly recommend trying out a class!

I've been very satisfied with my PT experience here, until this morning. Woke up with a fever and…read moresevere illness and had to cancel my appointment. Sometimes 24-48 hour notice is not possible, but to be assessed a fee for trying to keep their staff healthy is really disappointing. Rigid cancelation polices, especially when working with pregnant patients who can have a myriad of issues arise, can result in loss of business. I'll be looking elsewhere to complete my PT. It should also be noted that while sure, most doctors offices have a 24 hour cancellation notice, most places value the health of their clients and their staff enough to waive cancellation fees when someone is calling with unexpected illness. Helpful to know that income is what really matters to this location! The cancellation policy reminders are incessant, but reminders are sent about appointments after you have already passed the 48-hour mark. For all prospective clients - please consider whether you may ever be susceptible to an illness prior to choosing this location for your PT, they are inflexible and have a much higher cancellation fee than any other practice I have visited across the spectrum of all medical facilities.

This review has everything to do with the inept front desk staff who were unwelcoming and disinterested in you as a person - only interested in money (in my case requiring large payments before a service was rendered and insurance was actually submitted). Kathy, who was the front desk receptionist, was non-communicative. Unbeknownst to me she was allergic to my essential oil and ran around the office peering from behind walls like a caged animal every visit. It was extremely uncomfortable - first being attacked for monies before service rendered, then to being treated like a pariah for reasons not explained. All in all, it was a strange and unsettling experience. Severe customer service training is needed with communication techniques thoroughly reviewed.

Once I was hooked…read moreto the structure and ethos - low impact, amazing workouts that improved my body, mind, and breath - I started visiting B3 locations around the U.S. As a Chicago native, I was ecstatic when I heard about a new location in Clarendon Hills and once I met Mariel, the owner, I knew I found a new B3 home. Fast forward three years and I have taken 114 classes at this location. B3 is amazing and this location is part of my life primarily because of the staff. Mariel is of course terrific, but she doesn't hire just anyone. And, all instructors must first attend a training in Oregon (where the company was founded). While each instructor has certain strengths, they are all great and committed to your individual success while simultaneously making the whole group working out feel like everyone matters. I am one of very few men at this location, but in this day and age I am actually more comfortable being in such a female-oriented space. This location is not for "bros," toxicity, or ego. It is supportive and beautiful, but still makes you feel stronger and ALWAYS better off than when you started.

The instructors are top-notch and I've loved every class I've taken, as each instructor's style is unique. While there are elements which are standard for every yoga class no matter where you go, the class experience here is just different... and elevated compared to a park district class. It's all about the details, and Beth has thought of every single one. There are environmentally friendly considerations throughout. My favorite classes are Soulful Yoga and Yin Yoga with Christy Studant. Can't wait to try aerial!
