If this is what hell feels like then I promise to be good from now on…read more 90 minutes in 105 degree heat next to a studio full of other stinky, sweaty people. Not my idea of a fun Wednesday night. Kirby led the first class I attended. Don't let her soft voice and smiling face. Once the door to the studio closes, she will do her best to keep you in. Her encouragement helped me last 75 minutes before I had to call it quits before I lost consciousness. I came out dehydrated, "pruney" from being soaked in sweat, and with numb hands and feet that I couldn't move due to cramping from electrolyte loss. Learn from my mistakes: -drink gatorade or vitamin water throughout the day before coming -come 15 min early to lay your mat out in the studio but don't stay in the room (believe me, an extra 15 min in the heat could make the difference of you surviving the whole class) -don't take huge gulps of water during the class, your tummy will get full and you'll feel nauseous Don't forget to bring: -mat -big towel for your mat -little towel to wipe the drip off your face -plenty of water (think about leaving it in the freezer a couple hours before class)

This 90 minutes of hell is worth EVERY SECOND. It is tough at first, but now I am ADDICTED!!! The body just feels so refreshed right after the class and the day after. People get great results from taking this class! If it's tough the first time, don't give up, go back, it only gets easier! LOCK YOUR KNEES and BREATH!!! =)

I can't believe this studio exists in Geneva. I've practiced yoga on a limited basis for years but…read morenever was motivated enough to stick with it. Now here I am, coming up on my 2 year anniversary of going 2x a week, sharing how wonderful Prana is and the positive impact it has had on my life. The great thing about Prana is the nice variety of teachers and classes. All the teachers support an encouraging and non-judgemental environment to make you feel welcome in the studio. They encourage you to take what you need everyday in class. So if you don't feel up to doing that 10th chaturanga during class, you won't feel pressured to do so. I started coming to Prana looking to get in shape and get a nice workout (which i do), but now I've learned through Prana, that it's much so more than that. My new understanding of yoga has helped me be more present with my family and deal with any stresses that come up in life. Leaving class on a Saturday morning feeling completely blissed out doesn't hurt either.

I love this studio, it's beautiful. Most of the instructors and classes are great, especially…read moreEmily, Chrissa and Jessica. But a lot of their classes are Infrared - which, maybe I'm the only one who hates it? Especially in the summer? So, I guess that's fine BUT even if you sign up for a non-infrared class, the rooms are so hot because of previous classes. So I can't take them anymore, I need to find a new studio.

I browsed over the yoga products, hoops, buddhas and jewelry. They actually had a very nice selection. Then one of the employees, Greg, gave me a tour of the place. He showed me the yoga studio; the meditation room, which was a dimly lit room with floor pillows all around with the sound of peaceful meditational music playing softly; the study, which was a room with floor seats and floor tables, a couple of bookshelves to read the works of Carlos Castaneda, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, (to name a few) and books on Feng Shui; and last, but certainly not least, the Amethyst Biomat room, which looked like a a massage room. This I tried. I had to lie down on the biomat for about 25 minutes and just meditate by myself. The mat is filled with Amethyst crystals The mat felt warm while I was in this dimly lit room diffused with essential oils. Everywhere I looked there was something positive. The Himalayan salt crystal...The white sage...The dream catcher on the door... Totally awesome relaxing experience! I left feeling very calm and peaceful. Definitely will be back.

I go there to get away and distress from my everyday routine. The owners Chris and Taylor are amazing people and have a heart of gold. They offer classes which are small and personal; some of the classes they offer are meditation, Yoga mat and Aerial Yoga, martial arts for children and much more. If you need a deep nap and re-energize in a short period of time try out their Amethyst crystal mat. They also have a wonderful shop of nifty gadgets from all over the world, books and clothing. I definitely recommend this place if you are trying to escape from reality. Oh and don't forget to meet Piggly Brown and his owner Greg.
