I'm able to take classes via Class Pass and I love it. The staff is so friendly and what I particularly like is they never pressure you to create a membership with the franchise itself. Unfortunately, for many of my class pass classes that has been my experience. I get it, you want to build loyal customers but no one wants to be pestered. I have no issues being pestered here. You walk in, check in with front desk, put your belongings away, grab whatever materials you'll need for class that day and get settled in. No hassles. The classes are challenging but not impossible, which is exactly what I was looking for. Because of my work, I kinda just pick a day of the week that best works for me. Because of this I have had 3 different instructors and all have been phenomenal. They are patient, helpful, and knowledgeable! It's important to note that grippy socks are required for each class, they sell some at the facility, but it's probably cheaper to buy it via Amazon! The facility is always spotless and well taken care of, you are absolutely going to love this place!

They trick you because the movements seem so simple, so you think that you're totally capable of doing these things. Then your blood evacuates your limbs out of sheer terror, and your muscles are left on their own. The location isn't so hard to find because of the "1/2" listed in their address. I had a feeling it was an upstairs unit after seeing that. I came in very last minute, and scrambled to a spot right before they started. No introductions, no nonsense. You are here to work. I think there was a sign in the entrance that said as much. I can't say I wasn't warned. If you need more examples of how hard you work, YOU DO ZUMBA AS A WARM UP! You know, that hardcore aerobic workout that serves as a stand alone in normal workout studios? That's child's play at V Fusion! This review might be coming off as negative, and I don't mean for it to be. Just know what you're getting into before you go. This will WORK you. I was warned I was going to be sore for a few days. I could feel it immediately after my workout, and after my yoga experience, I had a feeling as much. I worked out on Sunday. On Wednesday, I still couldn't put a coat on without a struggle. I thought my shoulder muscles were torn. I had cool thigh muscle bulges above my knee. I felt like Steven friggin Segal. I have since told all my friends that this place will ensure a great workout and even better butt kicking. I plan to go back for sure. Let's just hope I don't die.

The teachers are thoughtful and challenging, and place consistent attention to alignment and form, thus reducing risk of injury. When I go to V Fusion I know my muscles will be pushed to feel the burn, stretched to maintain flexibility and balanced in very creative and engaging ways. Even after working out at Fusion for 4 years I am still learning ways to improve my posture, my core continues to get stronger and my muscles are getting more and more lengthened and defined. It's a remarkable place, in a humble yet sunny studio on State Street in Geneva. And unlike many workout places, there are many windows with natural light streaming in, and fresh air: V Fusion is a friendly atmosphere with skilled instructors who care about each and every participant regardless of their fitness level.

The pool and therapy pools are big and spacious, unlike other gyms that only offer mini pools. Class schedule is specifically designed for young swimmers to people that need therapy snd the warm water therapy instructors are incredible...actually all of the instructors are incredible. Most have their college degrees in Fitness and many have their masters. The class schedule offers great variety and the teachers are experienced and top notch. Most all instructors and teachers have been working there for at least 2 years and their ongoing staff training keeps all staff on board with certifications and customer service which is the best. Check in at the front desk and get a tour, you will be impressed. It is as pricey as surrounding gyms...I have paid the same amount to be a member of Export and Lifetime Fitness. The attention to the member at Northwestern's Delnor Health and Fitness Club makes this place not even comparable to the others. And one extra benefit, you have a Physical Therapy Outpatient treatment facility adjacent to the club if your doctor has recommended Physical Therapy this is the place to go. Their therapists have years of experience and their staff is professional and detail oriented getting their patients back on track. My daughter broke her leg and within 12 weeks of therapy she was more confident and able to walk, then run as fast as before her break. Once again, take a tour at Delnor's Health and Wellness. Working out there is like being on vacation...they even have private whirlpools in the men's and Women's locker rooms. The excellence in their cleanliness and maintenance is beyond words.

On my second day there, I realized that this is not a professional staff from Hospital. I looked up online and it's a subcontractor my first gym after high school. Was the pump room in Geneva. That was a 24 hour club back in 1985. And been the norm pretty much ever since not being a 24 hour club cut down on staff, but it still makes it crowded during the times that it is open. The staff seems to be more tuned to, working at a big box store than it does a facility that could have a medical emergencies at any time. Based on the previous reviews, there doesn't seem to be communication of change. I've been a member on and off for several years, and the equipment has not been upgraded. And in some categories, there's just not enough or they don't have a modern version. But it is clean and you don't have to put up, with the strange way some people act now in gyms. So those two are benefits. I just hope that if I do have a medical emergency or somebody that I love it's close enough for the hospital. Because I have zero respect for their ability to act calmly and professionally to an emergency by my experience.

I really appreciated her telling me about the socks instead of me having to buy them at the studio. She was very helpful. As a former fitness instructor(and someone who used to hire them) she is an excellent instructor. Her explanations were clear, the class flowed well, and she provided multiple options. I also liked the number of participants in the class. Sometimes it feels so crowded but I feel this studio has the right number of participants. If I lived closer I would buy a membership here. We did a 1p hot yoga class which was invigorating. The instructor, Sarah, had amazing music choice which is very important to me and she came around to correct my posture whenever I needed it. Never knew I needed that after a session of hot yoga! Serious game changer! After yoga, we toured the whole facility. There's a steam room with a cold plunge bath... I mean, what?! The showers were equipped with Aésop shampoo and conditioner as well as a specialty house-made body wash! Everything smelled so divine, very earthy and natural like a spa! There were also private rooms for naps and massages. After we showered, we headed upstairs for smoothies. The Aegean one was my favorite. It was like having an oatmeal shake! So good! Biân is a state of the art wellness center. Every inch of the place was so mindfully thought out and really evokes a sense of zen being. The aesthetic of the entire place relaxed me and put my mind at ease! If that's not the effects of feng shui, I don't know what is! Highly recommend this place.
