This review is for Jessica Ceska, who's been the absolute best therapist I've had in the years I've been going to therapy on and off, and I want to sing her praises. The only reason I stopped going to her is because I now live in the city and the weekly drive to Naperville has become less convenient as my work schedule here in the city has gotten busier. If it weren't for my work schedule, I'd have probably stayed here with her as my therapist for forever. For now, I've found another person here in the city to help me out, but I'll always recommend Jessica and Natural Motivations for anyone looking for a suburban therapist! If you're reading this and have any judgments about therapy, I'd like to reply by saying I think everyone on Earth should try therapy at least once. Sitting down and talking with someone in a non-judgmental setting about difficult topics is incredibly helpful, and when you're matched with the perfect therapist for you, it's truly life-changing. That was my experience here at Natural Motivations. I will admit, my first time hitting the check-in button on Yelp happened the day of my last session, because I was nervous about people seeing that I went to therapy weekly. However, I realized that revealing this information and writing a review may actually help someone else who might be struggling with the idea of going, or may help someone who's looking for a good therapist. If you're not sure, just give it a try, and try out Natural Motivations. I certainly won't judge you, because there's nothing to judge! You're doing something good for yourself that will help you. She is incredibly attentive, gifted, and makes sure you are comfortable. Located in beautiful, southwest Chicago suburban neighborhood. Upon opening the treatment room door, I was met with a supportive atmosphere lit by a candle in a sconce, sounds of relaxing music, and the beautiful Spirits of Tara's sacred bowls. She asked if I was having any pain at the beginning of the session; I felt some in my neck and lower back. During the session, I experienced the white Crystal Bowls, and Brass Metal Bowls carrying the Spirits of the energy that Tara channels through these magical instruments. She placed the bowls around me as well as directly on my body as she played and brought forth their beautiful, transformative sounds. We talked for awhile and we discussed some issues/problems I have been dealing with. Lucy was amazing! I felt completely listened to and she had many ideas to address my concerns and problems. After speaking with Emma at our first visit, I decided to try a 70% plant-based meal plan.
