Gym desperately needs cleaning- cleaning is done by internal staff. Mats are dirty and never see anyone wiping down weights or mats / although they have spray and towels for guests to use. Restrooms are dirty and need a deep clean and improvements -( behind the stall doors- need to be cleaned)! This location is 20+ years old and lots of newer clubs going in and send this one is being neglected. Speakers in the main group fitness room only work on one side and cut out in the middle of routines. Classes were great but they keep changing formats and if there are less than 12-15 in a class they cut the class. For the price being paid they should hold class even if 5 people sign up. So many trainers around for a fee but classes seem to be getting limited compared to the newer gyms. Still going due to location but it needs some love!

There were no clear signs or communication at the time stating otherwise. What really turned this into a negative experience was what happened after. Instead of a simple follow-up or even a professional conversation, I received a call the next morning from Mike Starck, who identified himself as the owner. The call quickly became aggressive and accusatory. Rather than trying to understand the situation or clarify their policy, he immediately assumed I was intentionally breaking rules and spoke to me in a way that felt completely unprofessional and disrespectful. As someone who works in customer service and understands business, this is not how you retain or build relationships with potential customers. A simple explanation of policy would have gone a long way. Instead, the tone and approach made it clear that customer experience is not a priority at this location. For comparison, I regularly go to the Anytime Fitness in Woodridge, and the level of customer service there is night and day--friendly, welcoming, and professional. I would strongly recommend reading reviews before visiting this Naperville location. There are plenty of other Anytime Fitness gyms that treat people with respect--this unfortunately isn't one of them.

I truly believe that shifting my workouts from only heavy strength training to adding Pilates and yoga has changed my life and how I feel overall. It's located above Ramseys Kitchen and it's a small studio with mat Pilates rooms, chair Pilates, and reformer Pilates. The class sizes are small (max 8 people), which is fantastic compared to other places I've tried where the class sizes are much larger and there isn't a focus on technique and proper movement. It is a bit pricey for each class, but it's worth it because you'd be supporting a smaller, woman/POC owned business rather than a large chain. Highly recommend trying out a class!
