It is on the second floor of the building, but they send thorough directions to you before attending your first class. Some people have been coming here for 2k+ classes - there are some real devotees here which means they must be doing something right! Classes are a little more expensive than other studios in my opinion, but you are buying into a high quality studio. Also, I felt like this was a more wide-range age demographic as far as students. While Pure Barre to me feels more like 20-something year olds, I liked that this was a more diverse age demographic.

Think twinkle lights, calm music, and sound bowls. I really appreciated the instructor who made sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to expect from the hour long sound bath experience. If I hadn't had my coffee that morning, it would've been very easy to fall asleep. She has comfortable padded mats already laid out but recommends bringing a pillow and blankets and showing up in cozy clothes. This experience was wonderful and I really hope to do it again. Boy, I was so wrong! By my second week, I felt tone on areas that I never knew existed. My back is toner Yaaaaas. This week, I was sweating after one class and by the second class, my body was so sore. It's that good feel sore, ya know, that you knew you had a good workout sore. The ladies/trainers are wonderful! I'm not sure how they remember everyone names, but they are good at it. They are very helpful and make sure you're doing your forms right. For sure, expect that they'll help you out, some touchy-feely moments, and will give you some worthwhile workouts. Gotta check Bar Method out!

She was knowledgeable about the memberships, as well as the equipment needed for a successful class - I felt very welcomed! Emily was a wonderful instructor, very patient and detailed when explaining the background of the class and expectations. The experience kicked off in the best of ways with a very friendly welcome and tour of the space. I was really impressed by how large their building as in how many rooms and classes they were able to host at the same time. they offer a small shopping area three dressing rooms and several different weights to coordinate with different classes. My particular visit was for the hot stretch class which included intense stretching in a heated room for 30 minutes. It seemed that this was just what my body needed after a few days of spin classes. Note that if you do not have a mat, you can rent theirs for two dollars as well as towels and water bottles. I also appreciated that their first sample class was only eight dollars for new customers. Often times the $20 for a first class at other studios makes it a bit too much when you don't know what you're getting into.

They've continued to run things smoothly given the ongoing pandemic and provided a safe, welcoming and fun environment for the members. I recently got to participate in a celebration for some challenge finishers and we were blessed with the presence of the owner (who no longer lives in state) and other instructors. It was great to see them all just as proud of the finishers as the finishers themselves. Everyone from member - instructor - owner are the sweetest gals. Nobody makes you feel any less of a member than someone who is there occasionally to someone who hits major milestones. There is lots of laughing, but lots of pushing to your limits as well. There's a class and modification options for every level. You might leave a class without sweating and you might leave a class needing a wheelchair (in a good way). hehe Have I convinced you yet? I'd love to see your smiling face (once you can take off your mask) in the studio. If you visit, tell them I sent ya!

Maria made the experience very comfortable and showed us the ropes without making the process as intimidating as it may look from the outside. This studio offers classes for those who are looking to tone their bodies to those who are going through physical therapy (full gamut). Our class included usage of the reformer machines that work both the legs and arms. We also incorporated a taste of bar work. Note that the room is both clean and crisp with several different forms of exercise available. The front of the building serves as a mini apparel shop (hard to resist the fun and sassy items on display).

Decided to stay for a barre/towel class as it was snowing & there happened to be a class staring in a few minutes. How lucky that I did! As a fitness professional with 33 years in the business, I am a bit particular about great instruction. I got to take class with Jen the owner. She was nothing short of amazing. Clear, fun instruction that left me feeling stretched, lengthened & revitalized from my little head to the tip of my toes. All the very fit gals in class were super inspiring as well. I just love this place and already I'm getting a little better at the moves or I need one less modification. Pure Barre is a low-impact, full-body workout. Besides walking, I haven't worked out consistently in over a decade. My goals are improving balance, increasing flexibility and finding my muscles again. After researching, talking with others and watching YouTube videos--it came down to PB or a more senior-oriented workout. What tipped the scale for Pure Barre is the owner, Jacki. She really wants people there that "want" to be there. Jacki and the other 2 instructors I've experienced are attentive and encouraging while insuring your best form with the moves. The studio is also kept clean (very important to me). The other ladies in class are welcoming while we are all focused on getting the most out of class. I feel comfortable in the small group environment doing my best. I'm not going to lie, it's a tough workout for a 66 y.o. couch-potato, but I want to challenge myself. The wall has "Lift, Tone, Burn" and you'll do all that in 50 minutes and feel SO accomplished. There are several types of classes. I'm participating in "Classic."

If the empathy expressed here were genuine, my cancellation would have been handled months ago, the repeated billing attempts would have stopped, and I would not still be receiving ongoing payment texts and emails for a membership I do not owe. What has not been addressed publicly is the actual issue: my cancellation request was repeatedly denied despite medical documentation, an unauthorized freeze was placed on my account, billing attempts continued afterward, and my direct communication was repeatedly ignored. This response feels focused on public image rather than accountability or resolution. A polished response means very little when the private handling of the situation tells a different story. For anyone considering a year-long membership, I strongly encourage you to fully understand the cancellation terms before signing and be aware of how difficult it may be to cancel if circumstances change.
