I arrived just one minute late due to traffic, and the receptionist immediately told me the class had started and I couldn't join. There was no greeting and no offer to reschedule, just a flat "you're late" and that was it. As a first-timer, this felt alienating especially when already stepping out of my comfort zone to try something new. I felt dismissed, and it made me less inclined to ever recommend this place to others. While I understand the importance of punctuality, a warm and welcoming attitude is always important. Love, Love, and more Love…read more I've never had a workout experience or workout facility that I've enjoyed more. It's challenging. It's rewarding. It's upbeat. The instructors are all amazing. I hate to choose favorite but Becky and Vanessa tend to be the ones I book classes with. I enjoy the variety of classes - from the basic reformer to the jump classes. And NO class is ever the same. That's the best part about pilates - a plethora of "toys" to add to every workout. Socks are required. They have a decent amount of attire for sale. You get a key tag for your membership. they have an app that makes scheduling easy peasy. And the studio is gorgeous. I encourage everyone to sign up for the introduction class and fall in love the way I did. I'll be coming back to many months the come.

my whole family have been members for well over a year now. every one of us have a guest pass so…read morethat I can go with them. the old workers have never cared when I am checked in and then the person I'm with leaves but the new management decided today that I'm not allowed to do that and that she has to sit inside, not even in the car, or she has to pay $20 for a day pass. the workers were very rude and not understanding at all and when I was walking out I simply said "that's a stupid rule" and the big tough dude says "say that shit to me again and I'll have you banned". yall are losing way more money by enforcing that rule than just being like "ok your fine today but please have it figured out by next time". overall the gym wasn't bad but the bolts holding down the machines are commonly loose or off and many handles have tears in them or are very squeaky and when things break it takes many days to be fixed. yall should have just stuck to that tuff fluffy hair blonde guy oand that nice old man janitor.

After scanning the website, I decided to check it out the next day, since the first class is free. After one class, I signed up for a membership ($39/month) and I've been to at least 2 classes a week since joining, if not 4-5 - which is unheard of for me. I like it THAT much. Revel's studio is within Primelife Enrichment in Carmel, but the clients are all ages. From my first class (Zumba with Erin) I felt welcomed and accepted. Each instructor has noticed I'm "the new kid" and gone out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome me to class. Revel is full of regulars but everyone has been friendly and many have asked my name and welcomed me to Revel. This is a community that I don't think I'd find at a larger studio or gym. Going to the gym in general has always made me feel uncomfortable, but here I can dance without worrying about how I look. I can just focus on having fun. This place checks off all the things on my list. It's close to where I live, affordable, welcoming and offers a variety of classes (Zumba, Pound, TurboKick, LaBlast). I actually look forward to my workouts and can't wait to continue my fitness journey with Revel!

As soon as I walked in the door I felt the calming atmosphere and immediately began to relax. There are some larger rooms for yoga, pilates and other assorted classes as well as some massage rooms. Merced was super thorough and did a great job on all my problem areas (I carry all my stress in my upper back and shoulders). She catered the massage to what I wanted specifically while still doing whole body work. She used essential oils to enhance the experience and make sure I felt the effects for the rest of the day! I am really interested in finding out more about the massage yoga. From what I've heard, it's a guided class where you hold the poses for extended periods of time and then Merced comes around and massages certain muscle groups while the pose it held. I think it sounds awesome! Between that class and other yoga classes, the monthly fee to attend any class is so worth it.
