I did Pilates for the first time ever, and let me tell ya... I dug it. The vibe was everything that…read moreI look for in an exercise class. I didn't feel like I was being called out when I was being corrected. I didn't feel like the movements were too difficult for my skill level (which is more of a beginner, closer to intermediate I'd say), and there were a variety of options for all skill levels so that you didn't feel left out. This class wasn't incredibly serious, but it was more laidback and fun. That is also something I really enjoy because I feel less stressed/anxious. If anything, the smiles and laughter kept me interested and made me feel like I've been going there for ages. If you want to go out and try something new without the feeling of judgement then I highly recommend! Plus you get to work out while having fun! Sounds like a win/win to me. Check out their class schedule and what they offer! Their point system is different from other memberships, and it's pretty cool. So definitely look into how that works!

I started coming to Rivercity Pilates after being diagnosed with arthritis in my back. If you read…read moreup on arthritis you will find that exercise is crucial! I was worried that I was already beyond the point of help and wouldn't be able to handle the workouts. Was I ever wrong! Carey and her instructors are EXCELLENT. They are trained and certified to make modifications when necessary to help you keep the proper form & alignment to protect you from injury. I like the variety of clients at this studio ... male/female, young/old, fit/not so fit ... and the classes easily accommodate experienced and novice side by side. I love the variety of classes and each instructor has his/her own style so you may want to try several classes to find the right fit. The classes are reasonably priced and you can schedule online or with their mobile app ... very convenient! I like to participate in the many studio "challenges" they offer because it helps me stay engaged and there are great prizes! After 4 years, pilates has made such a positive impact on my health that I don't think of it as exercise any more ... it is a lifestyle. I'm hooked! Thanks Rivercity Pilates!

Serenity has done more than I ever expected. I'm in better shape than I was eight years ago with no knee pain or hip pain. I love the classes but I'm also able to enjoy gardening, fly fishing and working with my dogs. Life is good!

I love going to Serenity. I have been a regular client for 4 years. Marcie's expertise in injury…read moreand exercise has been the best solution for me. Before Serenity I had a reoccurring pattern of exercising and getting hurt then being off exercise to recover only to start the cycle again. Marcie understands the human body but more importantly she understands MY human body. She can individualize my workouts based on how I feel each session and she has accurately described my needs to all the staff. I am reassured everyone in the studio is aware of my body's needs. I also do classes at the studio. Mat pilates with Mary has proved to be very effective for core strength. Gentle yoga with John is a very calm wind down from a busy day and a great "date night" activity for couples. I recommend this studio to all of my friends that want to avoid unnecessary injuries, develop strength. In addition to workouts that strengthen and protect each client there is a sense of community and belonging every time I enter the studio.

I have had terrible back pain for 4 years after I had back surgery. I got to a point where I…read morefigured nothing would help me. My mom urged me to take one more shot and go to Cedar Vally PT. The physicians work endlessly to help me, I finally have relief that I didn't imagine I would ever have again. They are dedicated and put all their attention into helping you. They offer referrals if they think you need more than just them, they are great listeners, they are so intelligent and think no challenge is too big to grasp. The best part though is that whenever I tell them "I can't do this, it hurts" they don't say "ok don't do it" they said "let's find a way that you can." They have not once told me to limit myself and sit out of things, they show me the right way to reduce pain. Wouldn't trust anyone else, these people are the best!
