I attended two classes while in town visiting family and had great experiences both times. Seeing that I was new to the class, the teachers made a point to meet me before class started and let me know what to expect, even giving me a quick primer on what poses they used different names for than I have learned. I brought my mom to the second "All Levels" class that I attended. I practice yoga regularly, and she practices once or twice a year when I drag her to a class, but we both enjoyed the all levels class and got what we wanted out of it. The instructor was able to help my mom modify poses and movement for her bad knee, and also gave me good alignment adjustments. They also have a great selection of mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters for students to borrow during class free of charge.

I felt great after having it done, little sore the next day but that's to be expected. No pain no gain. The staff was very friendly! The prices were also very reasonable. If this place was closer to where I lived I'd be there once a week.

Apparently he has sprained my shoulder at the very least. I am waiting on an MRI but must neurosurgeon believes I now have a pinched nerve in my neck that will require injections. SO MUCH PAIN. He never asked if he should attempt to adjust my back nor did he ask if I had back issues. Im waiting on a back fusion on my lumbar area which is why I wasn't there to get that massaged. He could have really hurt me so much more!! There's no point getting into a legal battle since all my medical is covered thru The VA. The next person must also know!

I started a year ago with hardly any experience in yoga and began taking $10 community classes. As my passion and skills grew, I began a monthly unlimited membership! It is so affordable and worth it if you go even twice a week! I've since moved up to Vinyasa classes and more recently their yoga sculpt classes! I love having options for intensity! Yoga sculpt is an absolute butt-kicker but you will walk out feeling on top of the world! All three studios are gorgeous facilitates! The North Liberty studio even has a cold plunge! The instructors are always so kind, friendly and knowledgeable! Truly Hothouse has became a second home for me and turned me into a lifelong member & yogi!!

So far, I have had two instructors and I have absolutely loved coming here. They have helped me get into proper position and never make me feel like I'm too slow for the other more advanced people in the group. Everyone goes at their own pace but we stay together in movements for the most part. It is $12 for a drop-in session (which you would need to call ahead and make sure there is room), and $10 when you sign up for their 8 week sessions of 1 hour 15 minutes each class. I checked with some other yoga places in town and this is a good deal! The studio is intimate and cozy; I can definitely see myself coming here regularly for years.

The instructors are great. I've had Brenda but all the occasional substitutes are wonderful too so I don't think you can go wrong in choosing an instructor. They have all the equipment that you may need - mats, etc. Just come wearing comfortable clothes. Oh, and guys please feel welcome.
