I attended two classes while in town visiting family and had great experiences both times. Seeing that I was new to the class, the teachers made a point to meet me before class started and let me know what to expect, even giving me a quick primer on what poses they used different names for than I have learned. I brought my mom to the second "All Levels" class that I attended. I practice yoga regularly, and she practices once or twice a year when I drag her to a class, but we both enjoyed the all levels class and got what we wanted out of it. The instructor was able to help my mom modify poses and movement for her bad knee, and also gave me good alignment adjustments. They also have a great selection of mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters for students to borrow during class free of charge.

When I phoned for an appointment I received a very professional greeting and was able to set up a time to fit my schedule. My first impression of the spa when I arrived was very pleasing and relaxing. The over all atmosphere is very stress free. The therapist, Teri, asked me what areas of my body she wanted me to focus on. I could tell she is very well trained and has a great understanding of the human body. She also has a very nice and soothing personality, which really helped me to relax. Bottom line. Teri gave me the best massage I have ever had. I plan on returning the next time I am in Cedar Rapids. I recommend Teri services to all my co-workers.

They have helped me get into proper position and never make me feel like I'm too slow for the other more advanced people in the group. Everyone goes at their own pace but we stay together in movements for the most part. It is $12 for a drop-in session (which you would need to call ahead and make sure there is room), and $10 when you sign up for their 8 week sessions of 1 hour 15 minutes each class. I checked with some other yoga places in town and this is a good deal! The studio is intimate and cozy; I can definitely see myself coming here regularly for years.

He is extremely knowledgeable and shares that knowledge throughout each session. He utilizes many modalities and gave me the best advice: "massages are meant to be enjoyed, not endured." He wants open communication during each session to ensure things feel good and that he's working on what I want to prioritize for the day. The atmosphere of the studio is very zen and conducive to all things wellness. I especially appreciate the gender neutral bathrooms for customers too!
