The one star I am giving Puragain is not about the product or service but about the way they operate to get people to buy this system. I wanted to wait a month before writing a review to make sure we liked the system itself. My wife loves the drinking water filter and says she noticed a difference with her hair and skin day one. I had the sales rep come out and do his thing and try and make the sale. I really liked how he was not pushy and after everything I told him I would talk it over with my wife and reach back out. A couple days later I sent him a price I was comfortable spending. He said he would have to reach out to management and let me know. He came back with a counter, and I said it was too much and that was that. I would text him once a week to see if they were ready to make a deal and for a few weeks it was always too low. The salesperson was very honest, not pushy in the slightest, and kept an open line of communication. This was problem 1) This whole time I am getting bombarded by texts and phone calls from other sales reps, who were even in different states, trying to make a sale. I was very confused because I was in contact with my sales rep here. It seemed like they were trying to outdo each other, and the conversations made me uncomfortable. I really felt bad for these guys. My rep who I had been dealing with finally got whoever to accept my price if they could come install it in the next few days. It had probably been about a month at this point, so I said yes and scheduled the install. Problem 2) The very late evening the night before the install my rep called me and said management somehow made a mistake and was not able to honor my price we had agreed on. The two prices were not very far apart but that was not the point. I was pissed and so was the rep, so I canceled the install. After talking with the wife, who really wanted the system, talked me into still doing it. I called the rep back and said fine let's do it but not without an earful to relay to management about this whole process. The installer came out next morning and he was great. I have had the system for almost 2 months now and we are very happy with it. To make a long story short, we really like the system but how they conduct their sales management and tactics are like nothing I have delt with. Also, when you say it's one price then raise it last second, that is a red flag. If it were just me, I would have not gotten the system for that fact alone. read more

We had our system put in in March of 2023. The person who had come to tell us about it was wonderful and answered every question we had. We had had a sub system but my husband was tired of hauling bags of salt, and it didn't take the chlorine out of the water which I found out with something important to me because I have to MTHFR genetic defects which keep my body from detoxing and I'm not supposed to swim in chlorine or take baths in chlorine, and this does remove it. I had a couple times over the years where I was getting hard water stains by the kitchen sink and in the toilet. They came out and even though it was 6 months early because they have you replaced the filters once a year they went ahead and replaced all my filters 6 months early and did not charge me for them. I really love that my ice cubes don't have chlorine in them and they're nice and clear! I want everybody to know you can always tell a good company because of the good people they hire. One time a big boss,:Yeshua, was in Houston from California, and instead of just sending any technician he came out and fixed the problem! We have a water dispenser by our sink and the new, lever was backwards to what I was used to, and I called and he came and just turned it around - it wasn't beneath him at all to come and do that for us. Yeshua, Dion, Austin, Tina, and recently, Oscar! Oscar saw that we had a trash can full of old filters that they had just been putting in there for years, thinking that my husband would put out to the trash on trash day, ​but my husband didn't realize they were there because it wasn't our normal trash can and we hadn't used it to pick up leaves and things for a while because we've gotten older. Well, Oscar asked my husband what day trash day was and he called my husband the day before trash day and reminded him to put the trash can out! He was awesome! I'm going to start with- I don't typically write reviews, but when I do it's because I'm impressed. I'm taking the time to do so because I want others to hear about my experience. Chris promptly responded to my inquiry and was extremely helpful answering my questions about the system. We invited him by to do an assessment (although we've had one before, and are aware of how disgusting our water is) More so just wanted to speak more about the details of the system and discuss warranties, costs, etc. Just so y'all know he was not your typical "salesman" type and never did we feel like he was just trying to sell us a product. He was very nice, and knows his stuff. There wasn't a question I asked that he hesitated on. Not pushy whatsoever, but eager to get us taken care of. We were an easy sell because , well , our water is absolute crap. Anyway we were set up for install within the week! That quick! (If you're hesitant just ask him to come by an explain the system) He's not a creepy salesman that's gonna make you feel obligated or uncomfortable, promise. Ben was the guy who came to install. He was nothing short of extremely kind, & efficient. My 3 fur babies LOVED him and he took extra time to interact with them. Huge plus!! Ever had that cable guy come and your dogs snarl & guard you?? Yeah. Ps- I've been wanting a system for years, but was always getting overwhelmed with all the different types options, companies, etc. one of the main factors about this particular system for me was that your minerals are added back. I love my new water filtration system from Puragain!!! I lived 17 years in Chicago. I was so unhappy with the water there. I was frustrated with how it left a rusty looking residue on my dishes and how heavy the water felt on my skin when showering. I swore one day I would invest in a water softening system. I made the big move to Houston 3yrs ago. Just purchased my 1st home a year ago and once again found myself frustrated with the water here. I did my research first. I wanted something that wasn't to expensive, easy to use, that didn't take up much space, and low maintenance. I guess google was listen to my thoughts in my head because I started to get water softening advertisements on my computer and phone. Purgain look exactly like what I wanted so I made a call and set up an appointment for a representative to come by that next day. Tommy came on time, he was professional, polite and new his stuff. He was able to get me an appointment for installation a few days later. I was ecstatic. The morning of installation, I was up early cleaning out my garage so I could have the area ready for them. David arrived on time, was very professional, and he explained the process thoroughly. He didn't make much noise surprisingly and installation was very quick. He installed the system perfectly and left the area clean. It's been about a week and I'm loving the system. My shower glass and faucets are clear of water spots and the water feels light when showering. This is one of the best investments and upgrades I have made to my home. LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I had a full filtration water system put in my home by Puragain Water. I'm so impressed with this system. My water no longer has a foul odor. My skin is no longer dry and itchy after a shower or from just washing my hands. David was the Water Specialist who came out and tested my water and help me to understand how Puragain Water filtration would work in my home. Gabe was a Service Manager who assisted in helping to schedule my initial home consultation and installation. He was very personable and helpful throughout the entire process. I had an excellent experience with Oscar Moreno, a technician with Puragain Water Filtration. He came out to address a strong rotten egg odor in my water, and from start to finish, his service was outstanding. Oscar was polite, patient, and extremely thorough. He is the first technician who took the time to clearly explain everything he was doing step by step, which I truly appreciated. Not only did he carefully clean out the main filters--removing a significant amount of buildup--but he also went the extra mile to replace the kitchen filters due to the residue left behind. What really stood out to me is his attention to detail and integrity. He noticed that a previous technician had installed the filters in the wrong order, corrected the issue, and took full accountability on behalf of the company. He also guided me through running city water throughout the home to properly flush out bacteria--something no one else had done despite multiple service visits. Oscar's professionalism, knowledge, and care set him apart. I would highly recommend him for any water filtration needs. This company is awesome! The customer service is the best! I've been researching in home RO companies for a while. I found this company on Instagram and filled out the questionnaire. Shortly after, I received a call from Valerie. She was friendly and professional. She set an appointment for us to meet with the Sales Manager, Chris. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The best part neither Valerie nor Chris were pushy. The PurAgain RO system just makes sense. We decided to purchase the system, at this time you can get a whole home RO system and an alkaline system for the kitchen at a great price! The system comes with a great warranty. We actually got next day installation! Eldridge, the Service Manager for the Dallas/Ft Worth area, did our installation. He was awesome! He was friendly and professional. He did a great job with the installation. It looks great in our garage and under my sink. He even cleaned up everything after he was done! I highly recommend this company! James arrived at my home on time which was extremely important to me due to scheduling conflicts. Upon his arrival, he did an excellent job at thoroughly walking me through the installation process and reassured me he'd complete his task in a timely manner, again, this was of huge importance for me as I had other commitments that afternoon. As promised, he completed the installation ahead of time and with a huge emphasis on quality. He then ensured to answer ALL of my many questions to the best of his ability and left only once we had verified the system was up and running with no deficiencies. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I am extremely happy with the quality of water in my home now. I started out working with David (sales consultant) who made it easy to understand the system, what I was purchasing, and what to expect. Rob Sullivan was the technician who came out this past Saturday to get my system install. Rob was absolutely fantastic. He was early to arrive. He walked me through each and every step of the install process. Any question I had he answered. He even gave me suggestions on things I didn't even think to ask about. The install took a little over a few hours but to be honest it felt like 30 minutes as we were engaged in such good conversation. What really stood out was that he found and fixed an issue that had been overlooked for the past two years. He even showed me that the previous technicians hadn't properly cleaned out the tank. There was literally mud sitting in the bottom of it, and seeing it for myself made everything make sense. He was also very respectful of my home. I wish all of my business interactions were this smooth. Chris my sells rep he was beyond awesome, so ASK for him. He contacted me on Facebook and I was very skeptical but he made it his mission to sell his company's product to me. He also was timely with his responses when I asked him every question that I could think of. Rylee was so sweet, she called me to do the application across the phone which was very smooth and non complicating.
