For the bowls, they have plenty of choices for the base-- pitaya, acai, mango, cacao, coconut, cocolina, berry. You can choose 2 bases and it comes with unlimited toppings, from fruits, granola, pudding, seeds. That in itself is a great deal, and their blends are delicious. I had a great first time experience. We were helped quickly, blends were explained, and service was okay. After that I kept coming back since it was open late. Unfortunately, as I kept coming back, service just got slower and unsatisfactory. I placed an online order thinking it would ready on time, however, upon arrival for my pick up time, I saw my ticket order still on the machine at the checkout counter. It was understandable since they were kind of busy. But I saw her take the ticket, and set it aside and continue to help the line inside. Okay, still waiting. By then, she passed the ticket to someone to help her but they just kept passing the order. By the time I received my bowls, it was 30 mins past pick up time, and to find out one of the bowls were missing a base. The staff are nice, but the service is very slow and they need a better online order system. They definitely need more workers especially at night when they get busy. Went as a Sunday treat with my husband and friend, the place was clean and aesthetic. The bowls were really good! I got acai, my husband got matcha and my friend asked for 2 flavors but only got Pitaya. That brings me to the only thing I didn't like which was the service. It was our first time there so we were a little overwhelmed and the workers seemed very annoyed, they didn't listen when my friend asked for two bases and hardly said a word to us even at the check out. Açaí bowl - we got a large size 24oz $15 Yes they give you a large amount of açaí itself but the fruit/toppings are not generous portions. One of the reviewers said the granola was stale and I do agree with them. I'm not a big fan of their granola. It literally taste like oatmeal that's uncooked. It's not crunchy. It's flat. I also see why everyone orders in because service is slow. There were 3 employees there. I definitely recommend calling in. We drove 15-20 mins to try a new spot. It was ok, tbh I wouldn't come here again unless it's something in the area I was craving to scratch the itch. Nice presentation for a ig moment but everything was a little underwhelming based on our experience. Love, love, love this place! I first came into Pur Bowls for a private Yelp event. I'm so glad I went, because I don't think I would of known about this place otherwise. It's literally a mile from my house and I passed by it often and never saw it! It's a shared space with another one of their restaurants, FYI. The açaí bowl side of the restaurant is right there at the front door, so you can't miss it. Every time I come in the staff greet me right away. They are always so pleasant, and the place is nice and clean. Everything is so well organized and labeled. I love the choices of açaí flavors. You can choose two flavors as your base, then load it up with whatever your heart and tastebuds desire. I always describe this place like a Subway for açaí bowls- just go down the line and let'em load you up! I tend to build mine a little more like a dessert, but again, you can make them as healthy or decadent as you like. I wanna say there's at least 30 different topping options you could load up on. For $10 (size small) I get a HUGE bowl overflowing with GF granola, chia pudding, berries, banana, honey, shaved coconut, bee pollen, chocolate shavings, flax seed, and agave nectar; just to name a few. The Build your Own Large 24oz Bowls are straight fire! Portions, ingredients, servers, and late night hours (open until 1am) are so on point! Their açaí is made with only water, açaí, guar gum, vegetable fiber, locust bean gum, and citric acid that they get specifically made for their store. Yay for no added cane sugar, banana, or weird preservatives. In a large size you can get up to 3 base flavors. You only need a small amount of almond butter topping to get the rich flavor it provides. The fruit is super fresh and they'll cut it right in front of you. Any bowl you make will be delicious as their ingredients are very high quality and they are generous with toppings. Some workers have a hard time hearing you so try to speak over the glass rather than into it and stand in line on the side rather than in front of the entrance doors. Dine in at their big sit down tables or take out with you - very clean and extremely filling! A late night fruit filled delicacy instead of coma-inducing ice cream. Ps. The cacao base tastes like smooth, rich, chocolate ice cream so you won't need too much of it. Their açaí, though basic, is forever my go-to. And the order wasn't right which I didn't catch til I got home. I tried eating it but it's just doesn't sit well with me. I called a few times and it was hard to get through. Got the green goodness bowl. So the positives: the service was great, ambiance was clean, welcoming and modern. The bowl was dressed nice and pretty. However, there was more granola more than the ice cream (or whatever the base was). The matcha yogurt was only filled a quarter of the bowl, the rest was granola with strawberries topped with coconut shreds. Gave 3 stars because for the price of $10 for practically granolas was not really worth that much. You can't see how much yogurt there is but you can definitely see the amount of granolas. read more

They have completed bowls on their menu for you to choose from or you can customize your own. I really enjoy the options they have for the base of your bowl. 2nd visit here. I made an online order and noticed the website says no substitutions or modifications but yet they have a spot for special instructions. Since they don't accept phone orders, I was hoping they would honor my request for no coconut flakes. No substitutions I'm okay with but it can't be that unreasonable to ask them not to sprinkle those dry flakes on my bowl is it? Alas, my request on 2 of the items was REJECTED.
