Here's my fur ball with her "improper" coat. I think it's very proper lol
    Bilun P.

I got my puppy from this place in 2016. She was exactly 2 months old at the time. She was the cutest most loving dog ever, and after playing with 6 other dogs my mind was made up. I was waiting for adoption people to call but they ask for so much stuff, I was sick of waiting. I'm not a huge fan of pet stores, but a dog needs a home whether he's at a pet store or a shelter. Also, I felt better spending my money here because they were not asking $2000 more than the usual price, like other pet stores. Anyway. Everyday I look at my little girl and thank my lucky stars that I spent hours there until she came in after her vaccination. If I left just 5 minutes early, I wouldn't have met her. Mike was very helpful and patient with me. I was still there even after closing time and he didn't mind. He took $200 off and gave a bunch of stuff (kibble, wee wee pads etc). He drew a diagram on a paper, telling me how my dog's setup should be like. He gave me the name and phone number of the breeder, and showed me a picture of the dad. After everything was complete, he handed me this huge packet filled with information and tips on what to expect the first few days, expenses etc. The packet also had a free first visit to the vet, discounts on grooming and passports... So much stuff. My pup had her vaccines up to date, but of course they were not all complete at 8 weeks. I had no problem with getting her vaccinated (the last da2pp shot, kennel cough, rabies) at the vet. Now, as for the 3 stars. I know my experience sounds awesome, but my pup is 9 months old now and I see that there were some things that could and should have been done. First of all, my pup was taken away from her litter way too early, and her personality definitely shows it. When I first brought her home, she could only sleep on my chest because she could hear my heart beat (like her mom's). She is always desperate for attention, has separation anxiety, and a lot of phobias (common in pups that were taken away from the litter too early). She doesn't know how to interact with dogs, she's either too forward or too scared. So in short, she shouldn't have been taken away from her litter that early (I'm guessing at 4-5 wks). Second, I was told that she was a purebred longhair dachshund. I honestly couldn't care less if she's purebred bla bla bla, because I'm obsessed with all dogs. I had a DNA test done, and yes she is 100% dachshund but she is CURLY. Don't get me wrong, she has the most adorable look and I haven't seen any other dachshund like her, and she's the most special dog ever. BUT... She apparently is longhair &wirehair mix, which is a big NO for people who care about shows, competitions etc. It's called an improper coat and it's "not desired" and it's a result of bad breeding practices. Like I said, she looks better than any doxie I've ever met, but if I was a person who cared about that kind of stuff, I would be furious and would be suing the pet store. Just saying. Third, and the least important (For me), my pup had giardia when we brought her home. As a new dog mom I freaked out so hard, but by the time she started on her 3rd course of antibiotics, I saw how common giardia was. So I'm not blaming the pet store for the giardia at all because it's literally EVERYWHERE, but be ready to deal with it if you get a dog. I just wanted to keep this review honest, so I'm just giving 3 stars, because like I said, she's had so many psychological problems. I haven't had the chance to send her to daycare, but if you get a puppy, make sure you get her socialized super early so that she knows how to behave and becomes confident. P.S. to the guy who gave his pup back because it wasn't wee-wee pad trained... are you for real?what did you expect? thank god you didn't keep the puppy because it would have ended up on the streets.

Bruno my mom golden doodle from puppy paradise, poor baby who has seizures sometimes :(

My mom got her dog bruno from here. He was so cute and playful but he started to have seizures a few months after we got home. We noticed how employees at the store seemed to be mean to the dogs. My mom said that they probably beat him and hit bruno on head because when we just got him he also would put his head down when we try to pet him. Now he stopped because he knows how my family cares and loves him. But don't get puppy from a puppy store I had many bad experiences with them especially ones in New York... I just got my toy poodle from breeder in Maryland and she is healthy, cute and was for good price!

Before going to puppy paradise we did a lot of searching online for puppies. After running into scammers we decided to go to actual pet shops. Puppy paradise was the first and actual only pet shop we got to go to that day. We did read reviews on this place before going and just like everything there was negative reviews that were concerning. My husband and I are well aware that some negative reviews are left by people who you can not please at all so we decided to go see for ourselves. On January January 22 we went into Puppy Paradise just to look at what puppies they had available and for the price ranges. The workers there were very friendly and knowledgeable about the puppies they had there which made it so much more easier. I was able to hold and play with a few puppies before find my perfect fur baby. We were told to take him to the vet for a check up to be cleared just like other pet shops do as well. Aside from a little stomach bug that he had, our Kobe is perfect! Thank You Puppy Paradise for helping us find our little Kobe. We are very pleased with our purchase and our experience here at puppy paradise. To anyone looking to buy a puppy please don't always go based off the negative reviews. Go see in person for yourself and then make a judgement. If we followed those negative reviews we wouldn't of had found our little fur baby.

I've been going to Puppy Paradise for grooming for almost 3 years. No complains so far. I would love to recommend James (the groomer) he is the BEST. He is always willing to listen to what I want for my pet daughter, always nice to her and she loves him. I guess because he treats her good. So if you want a really nice groomer, ask for James. Mr.Mike n Ms.Denise are really nice too. Always attentive n helpful.

We got our dog here, an adorable Shiba Inu. 2 years later and he's doing great but they gave him to me and he hadn't got all his shots which I found out after and that's is a big NO NO. Make sure the dog gets all his shots including bortadella etc as my dog got sick almost instantly. He's all good now obviously but just so long as you know this place is a bit of a puppy factory. Stacking them high and cheap and getting them out the door ASAP.

Cereal is saying hi to everybody!

I wish I could love this place. I bought my dog Cereal, a black pomeranian there on 7/22. Employees are very very friend; and the owner's wife , Lisa , is super nice she even gives me and my boyfriend a little gift. I feel like they really treat customer as a close friend. However, I have to take town 2 stars because on the following reasons: 1.) Disorganized I got different quote from different people. Plus they put sold puppies in the same crate with other for sale puppies. On the other hand, you hardly find the actual puppies listed on the website. Ask twice to make sure the puppy you want is still available. 2.) Giardia The pomeranian I got from them (Cereal) had giardia. It's a very common dog parasite and it's highly contagious. My cousin's Aussie got infected by playing with my dog for couple hours. With that saying, there is a very high chance that other dogs are also infected in puppy paradise. 3.) Vaccination are not up to date You might need to pay for the vaccine that was suppose to be taken. I am a first time dog owner and all I want is my little furry friend to stay health and strong. :(

I adopted a Boston Terrier who was bought at this puppy mill outlet. I have all of her papers and the puppy paradise folder they came with. She is 1000000% the product of bad breeding. She has mouth problems and has already had to have the luxating patella surgery. She's a great dog and we love her so much but please just ADOPT YOUR NEW DOG FROM A SHELTER there are MILLIONS of dogs in need of homes. Unless youre looking to spend your money on a puppy mill puppy and the some subsequent surgeries to go along with him or her.

I was very specific with my instructions. No clippers, full hand strip, trim only as needed. I provided reference photos of what I wanted and even offered to send a website link that had a detailed description of how to groom this breed (since it's not one many people have ever seen, let alone worked on) along with diagrams but the person I spoke to said it wouldn't be needed. Wearily, I took her word. What I got back was not what I was expecting and frankly, it doesn't look the best. My dog is not a schnauzer, but they seemed to have given him a schnauzer skirt for some reason. He's overtrimmed when the breed is meant to look rough and natural. Besides that, the handstrip job itself looks decent with very minimal balding so that's one of the positives. I'm just disappointed that my instructions and references weren't followed as closely, especially for the price I paid.

Despite specifically asking that my deceased dog not be mentioned, this boundary was disregarded. That alone was upsetting and unacceptable. In addition, over the past four years I have spent hundreds of dollars at your establishment, yet I have repeatedly experienced incomplete grooming services while still being charged the full amount each time. I also do not understand why it consistently takes four hours to groom a five-pound dog, particularly when details are routinely missed. Beyond the services themselves, there has been a persistent lack of acknowledgment and basic client consideration, which is disappointing given the length of time I've been coming to you (since 2019). I am generally a very easygoing person, but between the repeated boundary violations, the inconsistency in services provided, and the lack of accountability, I have lost all confidence in your business. Miles and my partner and I have been working with a wonderful dog behaviorist, Heidi, for over a year now. Heidi has helped Miles have a happier life. Heidi spent a while trying to help us find a good groomer for Miles. (The one groomer that Miles loved recently moved to Florida.) Heidi spoke with Ania for at least 20 minutes and I spoke with her for about 15 minutes, both of us explained the special needs of Miles. In particular, we explained that he is scared of grooming and scared of other dogs. We also had a preference for a groomer who was not a man, since Miles feels less comfortable with men. Both of us told Ania we were willing to wait until she returned from her vacation so she could groom Miles instead of her recommendation, Gabriel. Ania insisted that we use Gabriel, that he is very good with all dogs. Both Heidi and I complied with Ania's wishes based on her recommendation. She suggested we have the first appointment at 10am so no other dogs were present. We trusted Ania. Imagine our surprise when we arrived and there were four dogs in the shop at the same time as Miles!! Worse still Gabriel told us that he knew NOTHING about our special requests for Miles!! Apparently, Ania ignored everything Heidi and I discussed with her. Miles, Heidi and I left, never to return again.
