    Souther Comfort Bowl - $17

What a treat to find someplace 100% plant based with such an appealing menu! My adult daughter has been vegetarian for 30+ years and so often when we dine out she is stick getting the same boring veggie burgers or salads that most restaurants offer for vegetarians. The restaurant is low key - if you are dining in, you order at the counter, are given a number and your food is delivered to your table. We enjoyed sitting by a wall mounted fireplace that created a nice ambiance for our night out eating delicious and healthy food. Plant based is definetly the healthiest way to eat in my opinion so it is fantastic that it is available and delicious ...check them out!

Sooo tasty and well worth the wait! We constantly missed getting in (closed Saturdays and latest 7 PM (some days earlier) -- so maybe we were too eager today. We had the almond joy and the elderberry iced tea to drink. Then, who can resist sweet corn tamales? Not us! They went perfectly with the cream and guac! My DH had the cubano and I had the chimichurri black bean burger -- Deliciousness! I will say this -- It was a lot of food and we were beyond stuffed for hours. I just wish there was a Pulse in other places... Until then cannot wait to go back!

I had a lovely lunch at Pulse Cafe. It's a casual, family friendly and nicely appointed spot to a quick meal, although you could linger if you wanted to. While it's vegan, several in our group weren't vegan and found plenty to eat. I was particularly fond of the smoothies, with the piña colada one being my favorite. We tried a couple of the calzones. I really liked the one with spinach and mushrooms. I chose to get it without the vegan cheese. Someone in our group got the tamale appetizer and it was very tasty. I'd stop in again if I was looking for a lunch or dinner spot in the area.

Food is delicious!!!! Stopped by today to try their Mac & cheese with buffalo (soy) chicken and OMG - heaven :)) Wish I lived closer, I'd eat here a few times a week! Amazing place, and kudos to the chef.

I have been hearing about this cafe since they opened but I never had a reason to be in this area. So when I planned to trip to Vermont, i got to come here. Wow, this must be the biggest vegan eatery I have been to ever. Like really!! Their food options to dessert to smoothies, everything is amazing. The people there are welcoming and rest rooms are super clean. Note: The pizza options look delicious I didn't get a chance to try pizza this time but I will be back again.

I didn't realize it was an order and sit yourself type of restaurant, but that was ok. The inside is very nice and spacious, although I feel like it lacks a little character and comfort... still feels too sterile. I split the blueberry pancakes and chicken n waffles with my mom and they were yum!!! The blueberry waffles were amazing and I would go back just for them. The chicken n waffles were a little underwhelming and dissapointing, the chicken was just triangle cut breaded tofu... tasted good but seemed lazy. ???? Also they didn't have coffee??? So I got some barley tea which is supposed to mimic coffee but it sucked. Do not order this if ur on the fence lol. We also got the banana pudding and carrot cake cupcakes to split and those were delicious! Would easily order them again and want to try all the other deserts available!

Great vegan out of way spot Never expected this kind of find in Hadley Comfort bowl with soy drum sticks, Mac and cheese, collards, black eye peas was great and filling. Had to skip the salad we purchased. Have had their bean burger Tried tex-mexdstyle with sweet potato fries before. Great dish. Super and filling Almond joy shake. Pretty spacious in door dining area. Only saw one masked patron. No room for dessert. Do want to try their pizzas but will be awhile since I journeyed from CA.

I am not often a huge fan of vegetarian restaurants with lots of vegan food however this place has amazingly delicious fresh food that tasted like it deserved a five out of five star rating. I highly recommend this location to anyone wanting healthy fresh delicious food. There were so many different options of things to order from gluten free pizza, to salads, to black bean burgers. The Caesar salad had the most delicious dressing, croutons and smoked tofu. I typically don't even like tofu but it was perfect and tasty. My friend had the black bean cheeseburger and she said it was delicious. The eggplant calzone was perfection with had nut cheese that was so creamy and melted perfectly. Highly recommend trying this place to enjoy a delicious healthy meal.

Brought my omnivore parents here for lunch during the week. They weren't very excited because they typically like to eat meat but I am vegan and couldn't wait to try this place out. The place is large, open and beautiful. Very clean. The staff was nice. My dad ordered Mac n cheeze and it was the best Mac n cheese any of have ever had. He loved it! My mom ordered a gluten free blanco pizza that was delicious. She loved it. I ordered Buffalo chicken pizza. It was also very good but I liked their meals better. It was pricy but worth it. Their hours are a bit strange and they aren't in the most convenient location but I'd say it's one of the best restaurants around. I hope others will come and support this lovely restaurant. It would be a wonderful place for private events too.

The lunch was good, but not as fantastic as I expected. Sorry, but I found the wait to be very long, the ambiance is pleasant but cavernous, and the food did not leave me wanting more. I often saw this huge building from Route 9 after shopping at LLBean and Trader Joe's. I knew it was vegetarian, which was a big plus, and was eager when I came at lunch time. The building is indeed cavernous. There was a very long line when we opened the door. People were ordering pizzas and other complex items. The good part is that the restaurant customizes. The bad part is that each order took a lot of time and there is only one person at the counter. You find a table in one of the rooms after you order and display a number. At that point you wait until service is ready. The server was too busy to be friendly. I don't need to have my hands held, but the experience left me cold. The food was acceptable but not exciting.

No need to ask about ingredients because the food is composed of REAL food....vegetables and fruits

I've eaten there twice - excellent both times. Great atmosphere, lovely food, local, etc. A bit pricey, but worth it.

There are at least 2 other boba places from recognizable national chains a couple blocks away, but this one is locally owned. I stopped by about a half hour before closing on a weeknight. There were a couple customers already seated in the dimly-lit space. It looked like a college hangout, with a few tables and ample space to mill around and wait while being serenaded by Taylor Swift (the soundtrack of the night). I don't tolerate caffeine too well after a certain hour, so I was happy to see that they offered a decaf tea option in the form chamomile -- an unusual option at a boba shop. I got a hot chamomile tea with bubbles and half sugar. The bubbles were rather soft, even for a hot tea drink, and sweeter than I would've preferred, but it still hit the spot on a rainy fall night. If there were a next time, I would get 30% or no sugar added to offset the bubbles and the natural sweetness of the tea. The employees seemed nice, but I didn't interact with them much. The human-run register only accepted cash, so I ordered at the kiosk to use my card.

Heading home from a weekend in the Berkshires, we were think about lunch when I remembered this…read morespot which I had read about & made a point to keep it in mind for when I found myself in the area. My husband, who's grandmother immigrated from Poland, grew on this fare & he rarely gets to eat it now. So, he was thrilled! We easily found parking very close and, as it was a bit early in the lunch hour, found the place mostly empty. It was a cute, clean little cafe with several small tables to eat in. While we were there, the Monday lunch crowd quickly followed with dining & take-out orders. We ordered at the counter ( oddly, still protected by a huge plexiglass barrier ). The young lady was very helpful & knowledgeable with our menu questions. We ordered, paid and found ourselves a seat. When presented with the credit card payment, I noticed the gratuity pre-sets were at full-service levels & tipped as such. However, when we later realized that we picked up our own food & bussed our our table, we decided that we should have tipped for counter service. The food was spot on! Since i eat mostly vegetarian, I always find this type of cuisine challenging. But, a large list of house-made pierogis gave many options. I settled on a plate of six potato & cheddar with onion & sour cream. Since the kapusta here had no meat, I tried a side of that as well. The pierogis were perfect! Tender dough, flavorful filling - fantastic. The kapusta, a house made cabbage based kraut, was delicious as well & very filling! Half came home with me for another delicious meal. My husband, on the other hand, went all out with the PP - Polish Plate. He was thrilled to be able to mix & match the four pierogi, ordering three savory & one blueberry ( something his grandmother made which he's raved about for ever ). Like me, he found the pierogi perfect. He also enjoyed the kielbasa - very flavorful. The golabek ( what he calls golumpki ) had more rice than he prefers, but he wrote that off as personal choice and said it was very tasty & juicy. All in all, this was a good lunch stop & we'd return when in the area. Next time we'll be coming home with some of those delicious pierogi!

In fact, the space doesn't look much different at all from the way it was laid out under Fosters. Rush Bowls sells two categories of food -$8 Smoothies and $10 Rush Bowls in dozens of variations and permutations. Let's start with their Smoothies. There are seventeen smoothies broken down into four basic categories of Acai, Signature, Rejuvenate, and Juice (Apple or OJ). They have different combinations of fruit (mango, blueberry, peach, banana, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, dragon fruit, coconut, liquids (milks, juices),and an assortment of extras (granola, honey, kale, spinach, granola, acai, peanut butter, whey, frozen yogurt, chocolate sauce, avocado, espresso, and even lemonade). Their twenty juice based Bowls are similar, and you eat them with a spoon instead of a straw. My wife ordered the PB Crunch Smoothie with Banana, Peanut Butter, Granola, Milk and Froyo. I had a sip and loved its distinctive peanut flavor. I went with a Dragon Bowl of Dragon fruit, Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Coconut Milk, Apple Juice, chocolate sauce, and three toppers - Granola, Honey and Almonds. I liked it a lot, it had great flavor and plenty of crunch from the granola and almonds. We chatted with the two young ladies who were preparing our order and learned the store had only been open for a few weeks. Apparently, they are busiest lunch time when the locals come in for a quick to go order. My Bowl was pretty filling, so I definitely saw how it is becoming popular as a lunch option.
