Ryan had to coordinate the service team, install team and then back to the service team so they could be there when the Burlington Fire department could be there for this extremely complicated commercial grade alarm system in a residential home. He advised me not to fix it. Easier and better to get a new phone through my provider. He wouldn't take any money for his work but I gave him cash. He is very good and trustworthy. I have never had the work on my phone before. I have to say do not be turned off by the appearance of the store front. The windows have been cracked due to vandalism and Max is waiting on getting things fixed. Like many fix it shops there are things all over the place getting fixed and pulled apart...but after asking questions and getting answers I can tell you that Max deserves a great review. He is a young business owner and figuring it out but his knowledge is great. Best of luck Max.

He charged me $300 to replace my phone screen, claiming it was an original part, but it didn't work properly and I ended up having to buy a new phone anyway. What upsets me the most is not the money, but the way customers are treated. His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable for someone working in customer service. I never felt respected or valued as a customer. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place. Good customer service is essential, and unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing.

True, the lighting sales people do not do any of the wiring. BUT they should know about the products they sell. And be able to help come to a solution. Otherwise they are order takers. I can go online for that! When I went back to return the product they suggested, I was told the $100 dimmer was not returnable because it was "used". Yet, the person still gets to keep the sales credit for a product that they suggest would lessen the loud buzz. The simple solution to my buzzing lights were higher quality bulbs. About $5-$10 (candelabra and sconces) per bulb depending on the base size!

Referred to Granite City and was thrilled at the opportunity to spend at a local merchant…read more Entered the store to a cold stare and then both ladies on duty pretended i didn't exist - I shrugged it off and set about finding the light fixtures i was seeking. Less than 2 minutes later, a couple walked in and both ladies at the front sprung to life with a warm welcome and offered to assist as needed. As i processed this, the door opened again and yet another set of folks walked thru the door - again to great fan fare and the usual do not hesitate to flag us down with any questions. I had some questions at this point, but resolved that as i was being treated like a 3rd class citizen, i would just leave. As i prepared to exit, i heard yet another enthusiastic welcome as another person entered the store. I decided to test my theory. I walked up to the main aisle positioned myself in front of the ladies and waited to be acknowledged. They all of a sudden were completely consumed by paperwork and both ignored me in sync. I cleared my throat and asked a question about a light fixture.. Lady 1 ignored me and continued to shuffle papers while Lady 2 answered my question dryly and suggested i look through the catalog. No warm and fuzzy offer to help. Needless to say my first visit was also my last visit - Good Luck to you as business owners in 2020 behaving like its 1950.
