Exceeded expectations! From start to finish, this process was easy and seamless. Gagan was a pleasure to deal with. We replaced a 65" wall tv with a Sony that they recommended, and we are very pleased with the result. But what we didn't anticipate was the difference it made having an expert's guidance with an overhaul of our Sono system , which had consisted of 5 aging haphazardly placed speakers about the house. Andy, who did an excellent job with the TV installation, helped us totally reorganize our audio system, complete with the addition of 2 sound bars for tv's, and a few more Sono speakers strategically placed. We replaced our 21 yr old tv with a larger one. Our big problem was kids that helped install our old TV have since relocated to CA for their jobs. We are not tech savvy!! We have a Sonos sound system and new FIOS system that needed to also be paired with the new TV. Our old TV was wall mounted above the fireplace. We were hoping to be able to use the same area. After researching and finally figuring out who actually could help us with our project then reviewing the company's recommendations we decided to call TV Install Pros. We were and still are thrilled with our customer experience! Gavin explained what we could expect and then set up all of our appointments as we moved from job review, estimate and finally install. This worked well but the best was our technology/ install pro Martin Nordstrom!! We so lucked out! He was knowledgeable friendly and professional. He explained everything he was going to do including setting up both Sonos and FIOS to our 2 tvs. He was happy with our over fireplace wall mount and recommended keeping it. The day of installation he ended up spending an hour plus on the phone with FIOS to get the new boxes and remotes working. We definitely would have never been able to do any of this! Then he went over everything and had us do it to make sure we could figure everything out when he left! Talk about patience!! He totally went out of his way to ensure our other rooms TV fit properly and safely in the area and then again reviewed and had us use that TV remote. A great company to work with. Readers should know that they have a two hour minimum charge for all installations even if it takes an hour. Their current hourly charge is $150.00 with a a two hour minimum or $300.00. They work in teams of two one member is a licensed electrician which adds value and peace of mind. The guys are great! They tap into existing outlets whenever possible rather than using those DIY kits so it's a clean finished job. I originally had my TV mounted and wired by an electrician, leaving wires sticking out of a hole in the wall like spaghetti. They also used a very bulky mount. So, I decided to contact TV Install Pros to re-mount the TV using a low-profile mount, as well as rewire some HDMI cables behind the wall to terminate at a keystone wall plate, eliminating the wires from sticking out. The two guys who came to perform the work were very friendly and hard working. They performed the work and left. Shortly after, I noticed that there was intermittent static interference on the TV. I called them, they came back, and blamed it on a faulty HDMI cable. They replaced the HDMI cable they sold me with a more premium HDMI cable (why didn't they use the more premium cable to begin with when they were charging me $60 PER CABLE, I don't know). I continued to experience issues, and they then blamed my Apple TV for the static. After I showed them that the same problem occurred with other devices, they blamed the problem on a faulty HDMI port on the TV itself. But when bypassing their wiring, there was no static, so the TV's HDMI port was actually totally fine. They ultimately removed the keystone connections, so that I was back to having HDMI cables sticking out of the wall. This fixed the static problem. But half of the reason I hired them was to not have wires sticking out. I called TV Install Pro's owner, Ryan Patterson, to explain the situation. I asked if he could try a different type of keystone or any other solution. He said everything was working fine as-is, and his guys would not be returning to my house. He told me if I returned the physical keystone pieces, he would refund me the $50 charge for them, which he did. I let Ryan know that I wanted a partial refund of the cost of service if he was not able to accomplish what his company was hired for. He refused. I then let him know that I planned to write reviews of my experience online and with the Better Business Bureau. He then threatened legal action. The guys who work for Ryan know their stuff. They came back twice to try to correct issues with their work, but in my opinion they never fully solved the problem that they were hired for. I suggest avoiding this company due to them not standing behind their work. read more

Great Service! I typically mount my TVs myself but decided to contact the professionals when I bought a 50" Samsung Frame TV for above my fireplace. I wanted to make sure the TV truly looked like a picture frame when not in use and TV Install Pros did not disappoint. They installed a versabox in the wall behind the TV to house the Samsung One Connect Box and rerouted the existing outlet to the box so there are absolutely no wires exposed. We are redoing our downstairs and purchased a TV Wall mount for our large screen Vizio TV. I am not a 'do it yourselfer', so I did a search for 'TV Mounting' and 'TV Install Pros' was one of the search choices. What I liked about their Mission Statement was the story of how they started, doing TV installs for family and friends, and getting more jobs by word of mouth. Looks like they haven't slowed down since they started! The reviews that I read were all positive, the pictures posted from satisfied customers looked like exactly what I wanted for my tv, so I contacted Ryan. Ryan said they would be happy to do the job in Manchester, NH ( much to my relief ) and asked me to send him pictures with as much detail as possible. After discussing with his team, Ryan emailed me a very detailed quote which included line item price detail for materials and hourly rates. Another plus for me was that they work on Saturdays too, which I liked as I find it a little difficult to take time off during the week. Well, Saturday arrived and Matthew and Dennis were there right on time! My wife said that they were 'cheerful, funny and full of enthusiam!'. I was so mad, I called the first company I could find after a google search, and quickly realized I should have just called these guys in the first place. They scheduled me immediately, work on weekends so I didn't have to take more time off work, gave me a great quote, and were super honest. Emailed me a quote right after we spoke, and gave me a call Sunday morning to give me a heads up they were on the way. As a grad student, I live in shitty, overpriced Back Bay housing just like everyone else. After deciding where the TV should go, Ryan quickly realized how terrible the walls in my apartment were. They had to move the mount over and find a new way to mount the TV, then quickly deemed one of the toughest walls they've had to mount a TV on. Great. THEN everything gets mounted and ready to rock and none of my cables work. They helped me make sure I was able to have HD everything with a new switcher-box with out charging me astronomical prices. The BEST part of the whole experience: They stayed much longer than anticipated to make sure everything was right, I had the right equipment, etc., so I tipped accordingly (well). After they left, they didn't even make it out of the front door, and Ryan came back and said "I think you gave me too much money." I called these guys after having done very little research. Basically just a google search so I had no idea what to expect. We communicated by email and Ryan was extremely responsive and straightforward about pricing, etc. On install day, Ryan and Dennis showed up 45 minutes early, did a great job, were careful, attentive to our stuff, etc. They even helped me carry some heavy stuff and gave me a TV mount at cost (yes, I verified, it actually was at cost) when the one I had didn't work. Just had my TV and soundbar installed today by Ryan and Dennis. I had a Sumsung 60in smart tv and sound bar for a several months now and finally decided to put up on a our wall. Didn't know where to start so I turned to Yelp and found TV Install Pros. After reading some positive reviews and I decided to send them an email inquiry from their website. Ryan promptly responded and gave me a quote. I responded to call me for more details and he did so the following day. He was nice on the phone and explained the process. Texted him a few photos and we were good to go. He was upfront about additional charges on complexities with stairwells behind the wall and with wainscoting as he noticed in the photos I texted to him. I also wanted a very thin profile mount since my TV was thin and he was able to get me a very thin mount. The install took about 2.5 hours and luckily i had all the hardware that came with the TV and soundbar otherwise that would have made it a bit more difficult. They were true professionals and came in with all their gear. After they were done, they cleaned up nicely and left. I must say, I couldn't be any happier with the work. The placement, the thin profile, the clean hole for the wires, and the clean up. Easy peasy. I was going to ding one star just because they were late which Ryan texted me they were running behind 30 minutes but I take it back as they accommodated my reschedule. Great job guys! read more

These guys are great. They are very professional, courteous, and will make certain the job is completed to your and their standards. And while they do this as a side job on nights and weekends, I cannot imagine how someone else could have done a better job or been more pleasant to work with. We had a pretty tricky install with a 1920s home, horsehair plaster walls, over fireplace mount, power and signal through difficult walls, and a pretty crazy mount (more on that below). They very patiently worked through all the problems and did an amazing job minimizing the need for access holes. The job ended up requiring a 2nd night, and they generously made time in their schedule to return the next night and stayed until everything was perfect. I'd already done my research and had picked out all the electronics and mounts and just needed help with the actual install, and they were more than happy to work with me. At the same time if I needed more help integrating a system, I'm sure they would have been more than capable. Other people I had contacted either refused to do anything less than a full service design and integration (with many services I did not want or need) or knew how to install a mount but didn't have the electric and system knowhow to implement a solid system. Ryan and Dennis had it all. As for the mount itself, we went with a Down and Out mount from Dynamic Mounting (https://www.dynamicmounting.com/) along with the speaker mount kit. The mount is this crazy thing that allows a TV to be pulled down from the wall and lowered like 3'. It felt like a pretty big risk since there is really no other equivalent out there, but it has turned out to be an amazing mount. In our narrow room, a TV above the fireplace would have just been too high for comfortable viewing, but now that we can lower it to a normal height when watching, we couldn't be happier. Even though Dennis and Ryan had never seen a mount like this before, they worked with me to get it mounted perfectly and it has worked flawlessly. read more

I just moved into a new condo and one of the best decisions I have made so far was hiring these guys to install my 4 flat screens in the house. I recently purchased 2 from a "box box" retail outlet and was completely floored by the labor charges. Between the labor and the outrageous charges for accessories, such as HD cords or mounts, the final price was more than twice the amount for the TV's, an unbelieveable ripoff. I did some research and felt like I was taking a chance hiring these guys, but as I mentioned earlier, I am so glad I took that chance. For a third of the labor charges, these guys mounted my four flat screens tv beautifully. They had all of the equipment and accessories, all I had to do was provide some basic direction (e.g. how high do I want the tv, where would I sit to view, etc.) and sit back and let them work. In my opinion, they even went above and beyond what they were hired to do. It was a brand new condo, and the convdo developer told us they wired a room for HD TV viewing, however the TV would not show the cable channels. Ryan discovered that the cord the developer had placed in the wall was faulty (the developer actually tried to tie 3 six-foot cables together, instead of buying one 18-foot cable. what an idiot!) They replaced that wire and cleaned up and everything works great now. They even foundd a low-cost solution to an electrical issue I had, which was in opposition to the advice I received from an employee from one of the big boxes that came to the condo for a "free" consulation. Of course, the consultation did not end up being free and his solution would have cost in excess of $500, when Ryan showed me to solve the problem for under $100. I highly recommend TV Install Pros if you want a good job done for a very reasonable price, with excellent customer service I might add! read more
