We recently purchased a home that has a great deck, but it's directly in the sun. We found Morgan Awning after the we first reached out to a different company. The first company, known in the field was awful. The sales person was horrific. Morgan Awning was the complete opposite, they were amazing. I called Morgan Awning and could not be happier I did. David came out to the house and surveyed the area and listened to what we wanted to use the area for, and what we were looking for. When we explained he made suggestions that met our needs and actually did so in a way that lowered the cost. We originally thought we would need 2 retractable awnings. He suggested a permanent awning over our slider and a long retractable over our sitting area. The look is perfect. The awnings were ready sooner than expected and installed as soon as we were ready for them. I not only recommend Morgan Awning to anyone, but will be more than happy to return to them for additional purchases should the need arise. read more

while the quality of work itself has been good, the work was 16 weeks late, and that was only with me literally hounding the owner by phone with twice weekly calls near the end. when workers do show up it is without warning. for me it was 5 pm on a Saturday. unannounced. thank goodness we were home or it would have been another month I'm sure. do not recommend. read more

I had a great experience with Morgan Awning Systems. David Yennaco was the point person and coordinator and was very knowledgeable and always answered my calls. They put up a very large awning for me at a very exposed location (Jetties Beach Bar and Restaurant) on Nantucket. It has withstood 100 MPH winds. They were on time and on budget. Awnings are expensive but I felt their pricing was fair and the finished product has handled the elements and given us shelter from the storms. read more

Terrible to deal with. We call and call to get our awning taken down or put up. No one answers the phone or returns calls. When we finally get someone we are promised to be "the next house." But then it will rain or threaten to rain and we never hear from them. We start the process all over again and are told it will be 4 days, despite the fact that before we were "the next house." And, to top it off, they make you pay before they do the work. They have always been expensive, but this year went up in price! read more

Morgan Awning has been a great company to work with. They were very responsive when I first ordered our new awning about a year ago, which was delivered on time and was good quality with a perfect fit. But what has really impressed me is their commitment to customer service. Our chimney repairman, someone they were not the least responsible for, dropped a block on the brand new awning and ripped a big hole in it. Morgan repaired it for us at no charge. Lousy service. Used them once 7+ years ago and received reasonable service which is the only reason I gave them a chance with their current Yelp Rating. David Yennaco took my deposit, waited two months before he had the old awning removed for repair, and it has been another 2 months and they haven't returned with my repaired awning. I have never posted online before, but have had such a frustrating experience with this company, I am going to post so others can be forewarned. I hired this company to do a small home project. I was promised 4-6 weeks from start to finish. The reality is it took over six months to complete. Many unanswered phone calls, flat out lies on the delays and many broken promises of "we'll be here sometime this week". Eventually, I contacted the Better Business Bureau. When Morgan Awning blew them off, I contacted the district attorney's office, department for consumer protection, to finally get this done. In my opinion, there are too many companies out there that appreciate your business and treat you with professional respect, no one needs to put up with this nonsense. read more

Horrible service, unresponsive by phone or email. I paid half of what my awning will cost in October have not heard nothing since. I just learned a great lesson, should have checked Morgan Awnings Yelp reviews before calling them and writing them a check. I haven't had a phone call returned in weeks and I am assuming I will never see my awning. It holds water the material is stretched out and moldy.I've had it 3 years and Graham has agreed to fix it but he hasn't yet!! They ignorel my phone calls and its June already. We had Morgan Awning install a retractable awnimg at our summer place in Wells, Maine and it came out great. The installers were polite and business like and were finished in no time and we got to use it all summer long especially in the heat of this summer, it cooled down our house. We got a price from a local company in Maine and Morgan blew their price out of the water and the quality was top notch. All of our neighbors raved about how goo the awning looks. We had some issues with communication in the middle of the project but the owner got involved and got things back on track. We had several quotes and we found them to me very fair. In June 2014 the owner Graham came to the house and we had a long discussion about what was going on. He took some notes and said he would have the side panels repaired and fixed at no cost to me.
