I was with the same propane company for 13 years. A few years ago they were bought out by an international company. After that I couldn't talk to anyone directly and this past winter they ran me out of propane 3 times and I was on automatic delivery as well as monitoring. I called Broco at 5:30 pm ( their office goes home at 5). At 5:30 I got a call back from Tom. The next morning I got set up and Ted came over and fixed everything. I also had contact with 3 others in the company that day. Broco is a local veteran owned company. They answer their phones and are ready to help. I am so pleased to be a customer of Broco, they are fantastic. After they placed the tanks and filled them my fill up was more than a dollar less per gallon than my old company. We ran out of oil the day after the blizzard of 2015. I called at least 10 oil companies, 2 of which we had purchased home heating oil from in the past. Both of those companies, plus the 8 other ones I tried would not come out to fill our tank. Broco Oil Inc saved the day! I was weary of letting them know that I was not a current customer. Based on the attitudes I had received from the other oil companies I called upon prior to Broco I assumed that it would be a tough conversation. However, I was completely wrong when I called on Broco. Broco said, "it's ok" that we weren't a current customer, and "We can fill your tank today". They have gained a life long customer because of the excellent customer service I received yesterday. I enrolled in automatic delivery, and I can't thank them enough for what they did when all others would not. One final note is that the oil technician who primed our furnace was a top notch professional. It was not an easy prime. There was a lot of air from the tank to the furnace, but the technician did not quit and worked on getting the furnace up and firing. Everyone that I talked with yesterday from Broco Oil was outstanding and I don't think I could get better service anywhere else. Thank you for everything yesterday. I have been a loyal customer of Broco Oil for years. They deliever to my home and my rental income home. Yesterday I ordered oil on the website, like I a have done for years without issue. Unware to me, the ordered didn't go through. I called to see why my oil delievery did not come and was told they did not recieve an order. Okay, fine. I really don't know if I did something wrong while ordering or the website for the oil company was having issues. It really doesn't matter. I explained that I ordered through the website, using my log on through thier website. I asked could they deliever anyway because I was dangerously low on oil and I am a loyal customer. They said they would be charging me $150.00 dollars above the $4.29 cents per gallon for an off schedule delivery. The receptionist kept blaming me asking if I recieved an e-mail confirmation for my order. Never again will I use this company again and I will tell everyone who will listen, that they are money hungry and don't care about thier customers! All they needed to do was waive a $150.00 fee and I would have stayed loyal. Horrible Broco Oil!!! Shame on you! read more

Place should be called broken oil not Brocco, this company will leave you stranded, they have no empathy for long-time customers at all.. if you want to feel like a hostage do business with this company otherwise move along. I signed up for auto fill -where they schedule you month to month and do some kind of algorithm so they know to fill you up well guess what?- they missed filling us up four times and then in the middle of a snowstorm we couldn't get a oil. read more

We have been using Broco Oil since we moved to Reading and signed up for their auto delivery service last year. They have always been a pleasure to work with - great customer service and highly competitive/transparent pricing - but they recently went above and beyond for us, which is what prompted this review. On Saturday my husband called me to say that we weren't getting hot water in our house. I asked him to go downstairs and check the gauge on the oil tank and tell me what it said - he said "it's bone dry". Now, as I mentioned before, we use Broco's auto delivery so something wasn't right. I called them up and the woman who answered the phone said that she could send someone right over with a couple gallons to get us through the day before a full tanker could come out tomorrow - perfect! A few minutes later, I get a call back from Broco noting that they looked at our file and discovered that they had just made a delivery to us recently and that they wondered if the gauge on our tank was busted because, since it's the summer, we never should have been able to get through that much fuel and could they send someone over to take a look. I explained that I wasn't in the area and that my husband needed to leave the house soon to get to his fantasy football draft (tis the season) - fully expecting to have to reschedule to Monday. Instead, the response was "No problem!" and not even 15 minutes later, someone from Broco was at the house checking things out. As it turned out, the tank was completely full (my husband misunderstood how to read the gauge) so the tech took a look at our heating system - and again, everything looked fine. Trouble shooting further, he went upstairs and discovered that somehow our emergency oil shut off switch had accidentally been flipped ::face palm:: And what did they charge us to drop everything and rush over to our house on a Saturday afternoon for literally no reason and basically do a wellness check on our entire heating system? $0. I only used Broco Oil when we lived in North Reading and they were very dependable. When we moved to North Andover they didn't deliver to our area, so I went through some bad experiences using other companies. Recently, after another company short changed me, I visited Broco's website and was happy to see they now include North Andover. I switched back to them and it's been great. Ordering on their website is easy, deliveries are as stated and the quantities are correct. read more

Great place to buy your oil! I have been a very long term customer of Haffner's oil. They had competive pricing and always came with-in a day or two of my request. My neighbor always had Broco oil service them. I thought I'd give them a shot. Broco prices are MUCH better. Their service was great. The best part is I don't have to stay home to give anyone a check. They let me know what they are going to hit my credit with and we are done. On a side note, I go a little crazy with my Christmas lights. They have got broken before with other companies. This was my first year these guys, but they are off to a great start! I ran out of oil because my tank meter was off and I called various companies I have worked with but none were available for days and I was leaving for vacation and needed my heater back on to avoid the pipes freezing. Broco Oil was slammed but they still were able to get a technician to come over and just put enough oil to prime the boiler and get it running and I could leave to the airport with peace of mind. Later their delivery guy delivered the oil as promised. During the week from abroad I could see my Nest thermostat was offline so they got a technician out there fast and fixed my problem while my neighbor let them in. There are many companies that provide you good service when there is no urgency and no pressure. Broco is that company that has it all together and provides service in a pinch, in an emergency and when there is no urgency. They are there 100% of the way, when things are easy and when things require urgent help. And I forgot, they are competitive and efficient with cost and very responsive to inquiries. They have not only just gained a customer for life, but I am sharing their contact with all my neighbors. Thank you Broco for saving my house and my life in a crazy time this winter! read more

Had a terrible experience with Atlas Glen Mor where we lost heat on the coldest day of the year due to an empty tank (and, yes, I was an auto-fill customer and, yes, I called them multiple times over four days requesting an oil delivery). While hold times at AGM were in the 45 minute plus range, Broco picked up on the second ring. Even though (at the time) we were AGM customers, Broco delivered oil to us the very next day (and at a $1.10/gallon less than what AGM was charging us). Needless to say, we cancelled with AGM and signed up with Broco! read more

I'v been using Broco Oil for well over 18 months and have had no issues. Their prices are always up-to-date online and deliveries are always on time and as needed. I gave four stars because I have no idea what business is like with other companies in the area; but then again I have no reason to change. Was shopping around for oil prices ,after being overcharged by my regular oil guy I decided to use this company because most of all the oil companies that delivered oil to my area required a 150 gallon minimum for first time customers.i had to wait an extra day which was fine I understand being 15 degrees out and my business being 10 miles away that was the case.the process was easy I used there online order form which gave them all my info so when I called in the morning they knew who I was and what I needed .they gave me a cash discount and had no problem delivering just 100 gallons and with that discount they were the best price by far the women at the office was very helpful taking my order and it seems to me a company that is very well organized and dependable .looks like I found my new oil company. read more
