PLEASE READ: Richard…read moreGoddard and crew are as untrustworthy as they come. I hired Richard to paint my home and was promised many things which were as empty as they come. My experience with Richard and crew was great at first, but of course that was when Richard was asking for payments when the job wasn't even 75% complete. When it came time to fix the issues that his crew caused to my home, he was nowhere to be found, he didn't even have the decency to come out and look at the issues. Richard even denied the problems that his team caused thru email and he didn't even call to discuss which is as unprofessional as it gets. The only time I saw Richard was when it was time to cut a check and that's it. His crew even bad mouthed him while doing the work. I'm also not the only customer that Richard's team has had issues with. Multiple neighbors have complained to me as well as the car wash in town who also was very unhappy with the work done by Goddard's. Do not hire him! He's full of it And the only reason why he gets one star is because in order for me to post this I have give it one. So we were looking for a company which both paint and do carpentry work to fix all the wood rot around the house and paint afterwards. Our contractor friend, Lenny Sims, recommended Rich Goddard. He gave us a reasonable price for fixing the wood around the house/deck and paint all of the exterior. We were expecting some patch work but his Guatemalan crew (he has multiple) was very professional and very hard working. They washed the house, scraped off the paint in bad areas to expose wood rot where we didn't even notice, actually replaced the wood in many places and not just use wood filling, and then beautifully painted the entire exterior including gutters, door, windows, etc. When they finished, everything was cleaned up nicely. It was beyond our expectations and worth the cost. Our contractor friend said they are not cheap but can't be cheap with good quality. Definitely recommend their work. Beautifully done.

Allied Wrecking Boston made a difficult process much easier. They handled the demolition of my garage, cleaned up the entire area, and did an excellent job from beginning to end. They were professional, responsive, thorough, and respectful of the situation I was dealing with. One thing that really stood out to me was that they even pulled the necessary permit for the demolition, which was one less thing I had to worry about during an already overwhelming time. The quality of their work and their willingness to take care of the details really made a difference. They showed up, did what they said they would do, and left the property clean and ready for the next step. I would absolutely recommend Allied Wrecking Boston to anyone who needs demolition, fire cleanup, or similar services. When something unexpected happens, having a company you can trust makes all the difference. I'm genuinely grateful for the job they did.

I highly recommend him, and we'll use Matt again for an upcoming interior renovation project.

STRONG four stars! I'm definitely a fan and would use them again in a heartbeat…read more I didn't hire them directly, but a contractor I hired hired them as a third party removal service to remove a boiler in my house. Initially, I was upset at Unlimited Removal. They didn't come on time, a second appointment was made (through the contractor I hired), they idled outside my house for an hour in an unmarked truck without knocking. Eventually, I went out and did the awkward "Hey... can I help you?" thing (pretty sure it was for boiler removal, but not completely?), and then I was kind of pissed off because they said they were waiting for the contractor I hired (Addario's Services) to show up, when I hadn't heard anything about that. THEN I found out what happened. Addario's was complete crap at coordinating multiple parties. Unlimited Removal wasn't getting the right times for the appointment. Addario's told them to wait for someone to come out to disconnect the boiler first (even though it was already disconnected), which is why they were in front of my house for so long -- waiting for someone who was never coming. They were really just doing the best they possibly could with the information and mixed messages they were given. Once everything was straightened out, they worked quickly and efficiently at the job. Because of the pandemic, they wore gloves, well-fitted KN95 masks, and booties. They were super nice, friendly and really went above and beyond with sweeping and cleaning up the construction mess in the basement. I never thought that something as mundane as "boiler removal" could leave me pleasantly surprised -- but I was really blown away by their professionalism and the quality of their work! Only reservation -- I was still a little weirded out by the unmarked tractor trailer truck idling right outside my house on a quiet side street for an hour. They probably could have done more to contact the company once it was clear they weren't showing up, or maybe let me know who they were or why they were there. They were reading in the cab and maybe time got away from them :) Not a big deal all things considered, and, like I said -- it was really screwed up communication they were dealing with!
