He came to inspect the issue and started working right away. You could tell that he is extremely detail oriented and takes pride in his hard work! He was very respectful of our property, which is always an added bonus when working with contractors. He even went beyond what we asked and helped fix a bathroom counter mold issue. We are very pleased with his work! I was a little hesitant with the booking initially because not many Yelp reviews here, but he has many Google reviews. It included color sealing a tiled kitchen counter with extremely stained grout that could not be cleaned. Also color sealing three floors and two tiled bay windows. Everything is completely transformed. It's early days, but even the countertop has been easy to maintain despite the insults of a busy kitchen. We had one glitch. The technician applied samples of several colors to each part of the job. The one I picked for one of the floors looked very unattractive to me once it was applied to the entire floor. It wasn't Sir Grout's fault, but Chris worked with me to find a very fair solution. By the time the technician left the floor looked great. I also showed Chris a fully tiled bathroom. Aside from the floor, which we did color seal, Chris recommended skipping that room since it is in such good shape and showers can get expensive. It is refreshing to find a company that does not oversell. I think that Chris takes a very long term view of his company and values loyal customers over short term revenue. If you need tile... GO TO DIFLUMERI!…read more My husband and I shopped all of the tiles stores on the tile mile in Watertown (no exaggeration), went to the typical big box stores, and many other tiles stores peppered on Rte. 1 & 9, so needless to say we shopped around quite a bit! Upon walking into DiFlumeri tile, I was slightly concerned that there wouldn't be as many options. Some of the other tile stores are twice the size of this store. I was COMPLETELY wrong! They have an excellent selection of beautiful quality tiles and are extremely well versed in their trade (so be sure to walk in and talk to someone immediately about your ideas as there are items that are tucked away and not readily visible). We worked predominantly with Basilo and were so impressed with him. He's knowledgeable and offers options that work for the customer, period. No up selling, no pressure, and no judgement. He never made us feel like were taking up his time and was just super helpful (this on a busy Saturday). This store truly is a rare find! Last night after work (they are conveniently open until 8PM on Tues & Thurs), we purchased some amazing Italian tile for our bathroom at a price that was the best around for the quality purchased, seriously. I honestly will never set foot into another tile store in this state (already been to most of them at this point). While others are personable or offer a big selection or are price competitive... DiFlumeri is ALL of that in one place. Why bother going elsewhere?
