Where to even begin ... We had some water damage from a prior contractor's shoddy renovation, and found Dan through a strong recommendation from close friends. After soliciting a few bids for our bathroom repair & reno, we couldn't be happier that we chose Dan and the team at BC Custom Builders. Our project included permits, and all the typical trades. Dan was incredible throughout the entire project - and ultimately delivered on time and on budget. He managed the trades closely, and knocked the construction work out of the park himself. He was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the project - we were always in the loop, and Dan was ready to jump over any surprises hidden behind the walls the moment they arose. We look forward to hiring Dan and his crew for whatever our next project will be!! read more

Dan and his whole team were great. There were a lot of permit complications with our basement renovation, but Dan handled it all and was fast, efficient, and proactive. Once the permits were squared the way, Dan's team worked lightning fast. Great work at a fair price, I'll be using them again on the next project. read more

Dan installed LVP in my home. He was great to work with from start to finish. He arrived soon after discussing the job. He was very courteous, trustworthy and helpful. His estimate was very good and the looks great too. He has a wide array of skills too, in fact I am about to call him for another job. Highly recommended! read more

Dan gutted and remodeled our master bathroom and did a phenomenal job! Very detail oriented, responsive, and hard working. He was at our house at 830 and would stay until after 5 most days. He takes pride in his work and has great recommendations but is not pushy at all. Would highly recommend Dan if you want the best Tile guy and a nice guy to be around the house for a couple weeks :) read more

Overwhelmingly positive experience with Dan / BC Tile Creations when he rebuilt my shower. I selected Dan based on his positive Yelp reviews and right from the first night when I texted him, he was always highly responsive to questions and always willing to provide advice and another perspective. Some of the reasons I wouldn't hesitate to use Dan again include his: - meticulous attention to detail (and this shows the in final product) - communicative on plans, status, timelines, etc. - flexibility to make adjustments to installation (when we had unexpected delay on stock) - trustworthy - seamless integration with his sub-contractors (painting and shower glass) - strong after sales service and his willingness to come back and make some minor adjustments that I wanted - explained what he was doing and why - he has a passion for quality and the work he does Thank you Dan - I'm really happy with the finished product :) read more

BC Tile Creations retiled our kitchen backsplash and entryway. Dan and his lead installer, Wanderley, were absolutely fantastic. They were efficient, highly professional, reasonably priced, and the final product was of exceptional quality. From start to finish, BC Tile Creations was great to work with. During the demolition and installation, Wanderley padded the adjacent floors and walls, and sealed off the work areas, minimizing dust and preventing damage to our home. Throughout the installation process, Wanderley had incredible attention to detail and ensured the end result was exactly what we were looking for. We trusted him entirely. Dan is also incredibly communicative, checking in frequently over the course of the project. We couldn't be happier with the result, and we'll definitely go back BC Tile Creations the next time we need to have tile/bathroom work done! read more

He was very responsive but also very expensive and his work wasn't as quality as I was hoping. There were a few things he did great - the tile work was fantastic and he got the remodel done in less than a month. But he didn't tell us about a leak that was in our basement that was a result of the water being shut off, we had to call our own plumber when we discovered it later. (He never mentioned the leak but when we asked, he did provide two plumbers names.) His team stained our carpet. They used drop clothes for most of the work but for the final days those were gone. And although our carpet isn't new, I try to keep it clean, we live here. He did take his shoes off after I asked. He hung a stone shelf in our shower without checking the height with us first and when I told him it was too high and I didn't like it, he said he couldn't adjust it. I don't know why where to put it wasn't confirmed with us first. He said nothing about the height restrictions or whatever he mentions below when I expressed my disappointment at the placement. Finally the photo showing the silicon is to bridge the gap between the vanity and the wall. He put a strip of silicon there but then needed to insert a baseboard on the side. He moved the vanity to do so, but he didn't remove the first strip of silicone before putting another strip on after the baseboard went in. My husband just took off the strip this week, and there were clearly two layers of silicone there. I think he just was rushing to be done with our project at the end but I thought the fact he didn't suggest a better looking solution till I complained was frustrating. His immediate response when I told him I didn't like how it looked was " you picked the vanity, don't blame me." The overall appearance looks nice but for the money we paid, the devil is in the details. Listen, you can use whatever contractor you want. Maybe I have expectations that others don't. There are many options for contractors. If you want to hire one that will get into a "he said she said" battle over Yelp, or criticize your floor furnishings, you can use Dan. read more

I strongly recommend Dan an his company BCTilecreation. Not only did he do an awesome job changing our outdated boring bathroom in a little Spa, he was also outstanding in his communication, advice and attitude. We enjoyed having him around ( he even looked after our cat while we were gone). He came as scheduled and completed the work timely. Everything came out as we wanted or better. ( natural stone tiles, glas wall, rainshower, built in lightening and music features, stone countertop with modern sinks and faucets, hanging toilet...) After the bathroom we had him doing our whole 2.floor ( carpet to laminate + painting) ..and now we are planning to do the master bathroon next. I think this tells the story :-) read more

We highly recommend Dan and B.C. Tile Creations!! Finding solid, trustworthy contractors in this town is hard enough, but Dan is hands down the best all around. Great communication, incredibly knowledgeable, and helpful in every way. Very dedicated to his customers. Not to mention, impeccable work! (We come from family of handy folk, so believe me when I say it!) We did a complete gut and reno of our bathroom, and he was super fast and clean from the start. Looking forward to working with him again in the future when we're ready for the next project. Worth every penny! We're so glad we went with his company, and I'm sure you will be, too. Thanks so much for everything!! We truly appreciate everything you've done for us to have our beautiful bathroom! read more

We are happy to recommend Dan of B.C. Tile Creations, who recently completed a renovation of our master bathroom. We interviewed 4 other contractors before deciding on Dan. The other contractors were more expensive and suggested changes we didn't want. The bathroom was in the original condition from when we first bought the house 25 years ago (it was 7 years old when we bought). We didn't change the room's footprint or do any modifications that required a permit. Our plan was to update and refresh with cosmetic changes. Dan listened to us and did not try to talk us into anything that we didn't want. He let our choices evolve along the way with guidance but without pressure, even though the process lengthened a bit as we modified our plan. Initially, we thought about keeping the existing tile floor, and keeping the stained woodwork. In the end, we decided on all new Calacatta tile for the walls and floor, and painted the woodwork and existing vanity white. We kept the original jetted tub and had Dan's associate reglaze it. We replaced and upgraded the shower fixtures and frameless shower doors, painted the walls with Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter, and installed a new quartz counter with new Toto faucets. Dan was honest, trustworthy and reliable as were his assistants. He addressed every issue that came up along the way with great follow up. His team cleaned up after every day's work and treated every space respectfully. Dan's communication with us was always diligent and timely. We are thrilled with the finished product and with all the choices we made, and can strongly recommend Dan for similar projects. read more

Dan and his crew did a really great job. We were on a tight time constraint and not only was he was able to get the job done, but the results look really great (2 bathroom floors, kitchen floor, and kitchen backsplash). He was very communicative throughout the whole process and his crew was very professional and were able to keep the rest of the house clean while they worked. I would definitely go to him first for any future tile needs. read more

I want to thank Dan for completely transforming my bathroom! it is absolutely beautiful. He did the entire project when I wasn't home so the positive is that I came home to a new bathroom but the negative was that I was nervous and even though Dan regularly sent photos and updated me on his progress.. being there in person definitely would have made me more comfortable during this process. In the end I have nothing but great things to say about Dan. His communication was always responsive and detailed and he was so nice to work with. I love my bathroom! read more

I am updating my review. Dan never returned my many messages about installing new faucets due to the original ones being defective. The new plumber I had to hire (after having Dan completely renovate 2 full bathrooms $$$), said the plumbing to the sink was leaking, causing the new vanity paint to come off. He was a master plumber and said the plumbing was not up to code. The baseboard on one of the bathrooms was never attached properly and is lifting off the the wall. Despite many attempts to reach Dan, he has not returned my messages. Would definitely not recommend. read more

I hired Dan from B.C. Tile Creations to work on a large kitchen and bathroom project. Dan is quite obviously skilled and talented, but just as important--he is unwaveringly trustworthy and reliable. He filled me in every step of the way and was always responsive to my (many!) questions. On top of that, he's a genuinely nice person who truly cares about his work and his clients. He consistently went above and beyond and made excellent suggestions that I would not have thought of otherwise. Both the kitchen and bathroom look so much better than I could've possibly imagined! Without his guidance and expertise, that would not have been the case. In short, I am so grateful I found him and I cannot recommend him enough. read more

From quote to finish, Dan was incredibly responsive, reliable, professional and skilled. We're so happy with our remodel and I was totally confident along the way since I knew Dan stood by his work. hands down the BEST experience I've ever had in remodeling/renovations! I researched 10+ flooring companies to do hardwood on our entire second floor and Dan at BC tile was by far the most reasonably priced, most responsive, knowledgable, and professional of all! he was able to advise and guide me thru my material choice & gave me confidence in my final decisions. his team worked an extra 5 hours to get our job done a day early & went the extra mile to even help us move furniture back in! we will be using them for our upcoming kitchen & laundry room renovation, which I was dreading and now I'm actually excited about. I am so impressed by the craftsmanship & positive experience - I'm telling everyone I know to go to Dan! read more

Dan did amazingly beautiful work on our three bathrooms. He took his time and was patient with us, having never done this type of renovation before. He walked us through everything start to finish. His tile work is immaculate and he puts so much effort into ensuring that everything lines up perfectly. He made some very great, expert recommendations along the way without trying to blow our budget. He was awesome at communicating with us, super responsive, and kept the timeline moving along. On a personal note, during this project, I was 9 months pregnant/had a newborn and it was very important to me to have someone in the house that we trusted and that I felt comfortable with. From the second we met Dan, we could tell he was a great guy and we never had qualms about him being in our house. We can't recommend B.C. We couldn't be happier with the incredible work done by Dan and his team at BC Tile Creations! They transformed our four bedrooms and hallway into beautiful, functional spaces. Along with adding deep closets and a linen closet, they installed custom shelving that maximizes storage in style. The new electrical work is flawless, featuring LED lighting on dimmers that allows us to create the perfect ambiance in each room. Dan even added an electronic fireplace, which has quickly become a cozy focal point. To top it all off, they installed networking cables for our Wireless to keep us well-connected. The painting and trim work are immaculate, reflecting Dan's meticulous attention to detail. He is not happy until you are happy. He takes great pride in the work, and you can see his passion in the details. He is also one of the most honest people I have met and to me that was the biggest factor in selecting him to do our renovations. He was in touch with us providing updates and letting us know where they were on the project, which was outlined in the original quote. His team was on site early in the morning and worked hard throughout the day, showing up as planned each day as planned. The entire project was completed on time and within budget, with excellent communication throughout. We highly recommend Dan for anyone seeking top-quality renovation work! We will use them for every project in the future without hesitation. read more

BC Tile Creations did a wonderful job of our total bathroom renovation. It was our first big project like this and Dan guided us from beginning to end. He stayed true to the timeline he told us at the beginning, was punctual every day, and as we requested he even let us know when he was on his way so we could put our cats safely away before he arrived. For me the final result is the most important thing and Dan and his crew really delivered. We could not be more thrilled with the final result. His attention to detail really shows through in his beautiful tile work and his experience and expertise gave us great ideas along the way and things we did not think of before such as a beautiful lighted shower niche. He told us in the beginning he would be the person doing most of the work and not just passing the work to less skilled workers and I was glad to see that was indeed the case. He put it all together to give a final total bathroom renovation that gives anyone who steps inside it to receive the "wow" factor. Thanks Dan for doing such a great job! read more
