I contacted a few local tile installers to about potentially fixing some cracked tiles and grout in our bathroom. We plan to completely renovate our bathroom within the next couple years and did not want to replace our entire tile floor just to rip it up then. I heard from another tile installer that my request was not possible and would have to replace the whole floor (including temporarily removing the toiler and vanity). Jose responded immediately that my request was possible and quoted a very reasonable price. We were able to schedule the job for the same week. Jose was on time, extremely professional, and did a great job swapping out the old tiles and regrouting the floor. It looks 100x better. Jose's level of service is ABOVE and BEYOND, and I highly recommend him. My husband and I needed to retile our bathroom on a tight timeline- a "small job", so I thought. Jose responded quickly, offered an affordable quote, and showed up the same week. As most owners of old homes know, one thing usually leads to another... when we discovered some issues with the flooring during the job, Jose went out of his way to help us out and resolve the issues. So a "small" job turned into various repairs that Jose helped us with and even taught us how to do. In the end, not only did he retile our floor beautifully, he 1) added on repair of some broken wall tiles, 2) helped us patch up some structural issues with the flooring, and 3) even taught my husband how to DIY a couple things and brought the supplies to us without asking! It was an absolute pleasure working with Jose. We had loose tiles in our kitchen and Jose was able to quickly access the problem, let us know the possible routes forward, and clearly explain his thinking behind his recommendations. We deeply appreciated his honestly and knowledge and together we were able to decide the best path forward given our timeline and budget. We decided to pull up the old tile and put down a new floor. It came out beautifully! We were deeply impressed by his attention to detail and his craftmanship. He also replaced the window ledge in our shower - removing the damaged wood and tile and replacing it with new marble tiles - and regrouted the existing tile in the shower. We were extremely happy with both. Additionally, it was a wonderful surprise when we arrived home to clean space. We've had other work done in our apartment that left us with days of cleaning.
