Andre came on the same day we called (within a few hours, actually) and fixed a nasty and complicated blocked drain issue. He was clear about the problem, explained it well and knew his stuff. In spite of the issues and awkwardness of our current plumbing, Andre did not give up and persevered with the blockage (between the bath and the sink) until it was finally resolved. The price was very fair especially considering the effort and mindset needed to resolve the problem. Wouldn't hesitate to call this company again - very grateful for a good and positive outcome to a nasty problem. Thank you, Andre for your patience and hard work. read more

Smoothest, quickest and best experience with Johns sewer. My kitchen drain backed up and was recommended by family to reach out to johns sewer. I reached out via yelp messenger and got a response within the hour and they dispatched at technician over within 2 hours. The technician arrived Joey, and was professional and courteous. He identified the blockage and setup some tarps around the sink area to minimize dirt. He snaked the drain very thoroughly and resolved the blockage. Joey was chill whole time, explained some of the possible root causes behind blockage and preventative measures. The flat fee was way cheaper than the ridiculous profit charged by roto rooter last time. Will definitely use john sewes for future plumbing work. read more

Immediate service, quality work, pleasant experience for an ugly problem. Highly recommend.

Main sewer line backed up, causing water to pool in the downstairs shower. Richard arrived within twenty minutes of the call to assess the blockage. The camera inspection showed heavy root intrusion that required a commercial hydro-jetting machine, which he had to bring out the following morning. He coordinated the return visit around my work hours to ensure minimal disruption. read more

HOW ABOUT A PHONE NUMBER? SHESH IS IT YOU OR yelp ? Very frustrating when you look through business listed , pick one that you are thinking of using but they don't have number to call. Didn't see any way to text you either. read more

Excellent experience with John's Sewer & Drain Cleaning! Called around 8 am with a clogged toilet and they had someone arrive before 10. The plumber was very friendly and quickly cleared the clog (also cleared a sink drain at no extra cost!). I asked some general questions about our sewage system and he offered very helpful insight and advice. Very reasonably priced service. Highly recommend! read more

I had clogged kitchen sink and contacted them on Monday night, they quickly responded with an estimate. They also gave me multiple availabilities for the next day. The technician Santo came and fixed the clogged kitchen sink drain. It was deeper clog so he used a long snake and made sure the pipe to the main drain was unclogged. He also gave me tips to prevent the same thing happening again. I would use them again in the future. read more

Tom and Paul Kelly are absolutely outstanding! We've had recurring issues with roots in our sewer line and have used their services twice. Tom is consistently kind, helpful, and reassuring that the problem will be handled promptly--and he always follows through. When he said he'd send one of his best guys, he meant it! Paul went above and beyond! He called ahead to let me know his previous job was running a bit over, which I really appreciated. When he arrived, he immediately got to work and clearly explained what was happening and why the issue keeps recurring. He also discovered a crack where the pipe is settling, which will need to be addressed. Paul was friendly, funny, and professional throughout. He recommended pipe lining to prevent future problems, and I've already requested that he be the one to handle the work when we move forward next spring. I'm so grateful for the outstanding service and genuine care Tom and Paul provide--they've earned my complete trust. read more

Made an appointment easily through Yelp. Tom responded to me right away and scheduled a service for the following morning, Xavier was sent to my house and he helped unclog a kitchen drain. He was professional, knowledgeable, careful, polite and made sure to clean up behind himself. I was fortunate to get someone under such short notice. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for help. read more

Bad experience, but after I contacted them and posted Negative review they refunded some of my money.

Had a clogged main line, sent a message, and they came out to snake it right away. Easy scheduling, problem solved, and no mess!

I Texted on Yelp on Wednesday around 8 PM and they sent an excellent tech, Aiden, out to our house the next morning. He expertly cleared the clog - even opening up a second clear-out and routing that separate section of pipe out as well. Aiden was courteous and explained everything he did as he did it. We were completely satisfied with the work and will be calling John's Sewer again if we ever have any additional difficulties. Moreover the flat fee price is very reasonable and defiantly very fair. I had another company came the day before and they wanted to take advantage of us saying all kind of stuff that did not make sense to me so i paid them what we agreed on and asked them to leave and then reached out to Johns. read more

Had a great experience with John's Sewer when our drain started backing up. They were able to diagnose my issue over the phone, saving the hassle and cost of a late-night emergency call out. The next day, the tech they sent (Aidan) came right on time and took care of the clog. Aidan was careful, helpful, explained everything very clearly, gave helpful information about preventative maintenance, and ultimately got our issue resolved in the least invasive way possible. I'd definitely recommend Aidan and John's Sewer in the future. read more

Quick response. A second trip was necessary. They quickly responded to that and the issue was fixed!

Really good experience overall. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was found and what steps were taken. Communication was clear, the visit was on time, and the service felt thorough rather than rushed. I appreciated the detailed follow-up and would definitely recommend them. read more

A friend recommended John's to me after a main line break at my mom's house. They exceeded my expectations amid such a stressful situation! They came right out, were fair on price, and so patient and informative in explaining every detail to me. Rich even went so far as to install the new kitchen faucet that I had recently bought, as I clearly had no idea how to do so. One of the nicest guys I've ever met. Will definitely never hire any other plumbing company! Thank you guys so much!!! read more

Our drain from the toilets seemed to be slowing down, Called John Sewer and a service technician came within 3 hours. He fully opened a couple of hot water faucets for about 10 to 15 minutes and then went to lift the sewer cover in the street and we could hear the water flowing. Since then, no further problem (may be grease had started to pile up somewhere and got washed away). The servie technician was pleasant, friendly and a good listener. We were charged just for the visit. read more

My husband and I called this service to get our dishwasher looked at. We read so many great reviews; so we thought it would be great. The service was fine, but it was a very expensive visit. Maybe shop around before choosing a service for your needs! read more

Called John's at 8:30P on a Tuesday night for a rather serious main sewer line blockage, halting all water usage in the house. Answering service picked up and 2 min (literally) later, Kyle called me back. We discussed this issue, he explained their very resonable pricing structure. 40 min later Kyle is in my basement getting to work. He explained every step in the process, educating me as he went about his work. He quickly corrected the issue and I was back in service only 2hrs after finding the issue. Kyle's customer facing skills were where this review gets 5-stars. He was articulate and informative, the whole time with a positive attitude and a smile. While informing me or joking around, he was really working to clear this blockage. He appeared very adept with his trade as well possession great customer service skills. I am not sure what I expected on an off hours emergency plumbing call, but this was a welcome respite. I cannot recommend John's Drains enough. They helped me out a bad situation without taking advantage and even made the experience pleasant! read more

It's nice to know there's company out there that listens to your needs and understands a clogged drain can be a nightmare. Very impressed with the service. Had a clogged drain from the kitchen sink that has a long runway to get to the main stack in the basement. A bit of a tricky plumbing design and previously had two others companies consult/take a look at it, but no luck completely unclogging after a few hours. Chris, at John's Sewer & Drain came by, fixed it; in and out in 30 minutes. You're my first call if something comes up again! read more

I had a terrible clog in my main pipe. The first plumber that came to our place did his best but he couldn't figure out what was wrong, the water was still backing up. We thought the problem was in the city line. However, after a lot of back and forth with the city, they claimed that the problem was in our unit. We called John's again. This time Ronnie came to the rescue! He found the problem and solved it, all free of charge. Despite our problem took much longer we had hoped for to be solved, I totally recommend the company, and especially Ronnie! read more
