The job was done quickly and the work site left quite clean. In addition, both me found outside outlets that were out of code. They showed me and replaced them. The second job John (the owner) came to install dimmer switches, an outlet in the basement and a motion sensor light outside. John did a fantastic job. Not only did he install everything exactly as he said he would, but he also located several additional code issues-one potentially very dangerous-and repaired them. I found Jolt to be an excellent service. The price is very reasonable, the quality excellent and the staff professional and affable. John runs a very tight ship, with attention paid to detail and the right way of doing things. I highly recommend Jolt Electric.

It's rare these days to find people with this level of honesty, professionalism, and integrity. Pat…read moreKerins and his father came to our home on very short notice when our air conditioning stopped working. They spent more than three hours in the heat carefully troubleshooting every possible electrical cause. They were incredibly thorough, methodical, and explained everything they were checking. In the end, they determined the problem wasn't electrical at all--it was an issue that needed to be addressed by our oil/HVAC company. Despite spending hours diagnosing the problem and saving us from chasing the wrong repair, they refused to accept any payment. That kind of honesty is almost unheard of today. Many companies would have billed for the time regardless, but Pat and his father genuinely cared more about helping us than making money. They are knowledgeable, hardworking, respectful, and truly exceptional people. I recommend them without hesitation and will be calling them first for any future electrical work. If you're looking for an electrician you can completely trust, look no further.

Steve and Pat paid so much attention to our house and helped us understand how the house worked, all the considerations for the things we might want to do, and gave us incredibly fair prices and did excellent work. We've had them back a few times as we have upgraded quite a few things and added new circuits and a new subpanel. They've caught things our house inspector missed and have talked me out of things I didn't need or could do later. Never an upsell, just good honest experts practicing their craft. Our kids love having them over as well--really great guys. A quick story: We wanted to add another ceiling light to our hallway on the top floor, and Pat and Steve drove around to a bunch of old hardware and antique stores and found a nearly perfect match for the other 1930s fixtures--you wouldn't know it wasn't originally there! Just real attention to detail and customer care. Above and beyond.
