I checked reviews of various local shops and saw very favorable ones for Elite Electrical Solutions. The owner, Rich Schell, returned my initial call same day and we scheduled a day to review the work. Rich clearly understood the request and provided a very fair price for the work. The work was completed on time and the electrician was very thorough and professional. Sometimes it's difficult to find a contractor that will take on small jobs but Elite Electrical did and I highly recommend their services.

He was great at communication, showed up when he was scheduled, cleaned up, reasonably priced, and just pleasant to deal with. If you are looking for an electrician - I would give him an A plus. Definitely keeping his number handy just in case.

The job was done quickly and the work site left quite clean. In addition, both me found outside outlets that were out of code. They showed me and replaced them. The second job John (the owner) came to install dimmer switches, an outlet in the basement and a motion sensor light outside. John did a fantastic job. Not only did he install everything exactly as he said he would, but he also located several additional code issues-one potentially very dangerous-and repaired them. I found Jolt to be an excellent service. The price is very reasonable, the quality excellent and the staff professional and affable. John runs a very tight ship, with attention paid to detail and the right way of doing things. I highly recommend Jolt Electric.

That's on us I suppose, just be prepared to spend money, and don't hire on the weekends or after 4PM if you have the time to do so, in order to save some money. Can't really speak to the quality of work, since what he did was fairly simple, though his expertise did confirm that a replacement was needed.
