We wanted to give it one more try. Unfortunately for me it was still a miss. My wife did enjoy her burrito a bit more without the canned cheese poured over the top but everything else was still lacking in flavor. Short of enjoyable on many levels.

The chips and queso are sooo good here, I enjoyed the tacos and rice a lot too. The service was very attentive, and we had a big group so I applaud them for that. The seating area is nice and has several tables and booths. I will say that it is a cramped area, especially at the tables and not very accessible.

Beautiful murals, friendly quick service and great food!! Everything tasted very fresh and their margs were spot on

Very good Mexican food. Refreshing to have a consistent ethnic food offering in Mayville. Service was spot on. I ordered the Grande Quesadilla and she had the enchilada taco combo plate. Food was served fast and hot. Tasty, but it wasn't made from scratch. The restaurant has been updated and now has a bar along with four large screen TVs. Recommend stop in eatery when in Mayville.

    Queso Fundido - yummy!

Very, very good food here. Chips and salsa were good, queso fundido was plentiful and hot! I had the Burrito Mexico and hubby had Enchiladas Roja - both were extremely delicious and if course, the plates had a ton of food on each but we managed to eat it all!

Medium sized Lime Margarita with sugar on the rim, salsa and chips at no extra charge and delivered to table upon seating.

The service was excellent, hosts and waiters were friendly and attentive. There was no wait time at lunch but a steady stream of happy customers was a good sign for us first timers. The drinks and food came out within minutes of ordering, it was hot, fresh and everything was homemade down to the sauces. We ordered margaritas which were delicious (homemade, not from a mix), birria tacos melted in your mouth and the flavor was epic, the chicken chimichangas were also great. We visited around Halloween and the place was decorated to the T. On top of the Halloween decorations the walls are beautifully hand-painted with Mexican style murals. Everything from top to bottom was extremely clean. The bar also looks like a nice place to have a few drinks with friends even if you're not hungry! We will definitely be back and recommend this place to all family and friends.

    Vallarta Special... Enchilada Jalisco...

The Enchilada Jalisco and the Vallarta Special were amazing. The restaurant was very busy but we got right in. I noticed they have take out also. Please be patient as they are new and very busy. We will be returning in the near future.

Carne asada tacos had an unreal amount of flavor. Complementary chips and dips were fresh and tasty. The friendliest staff and server also.

Can we get this in a Michelin guide for those traveling to Chautauqua or Lily Dale? What did we have? A perfectly juicy selection of lobster tail full of its own sweetness resting on top of a bed of pappardelle pasta bathing in saffron cream and sweet summer corn for pops of texture. A lumpy deep fried crab cake that crackled on the outside and then fell apart into juicy flakes upon breaking the fried shell. A sour dough bread with herbed butter that melted between the half sliced folds holding it together until fully pulling apart. Iced tea and lemonade Arnold Palmer with flavors that kept us guessing and curious about the added sweet spice profile. Definitely coming back, perhaps every single meal I can when I'm in the area.

This year was equally bad, so we won't be going again. Here's why. FOOD. It's okay, but it's not that good. Between the 2 visits and 4 people, we've ordered a decent variety from the menu. Nothing stuck out as especially good. Most food was left uneaten. SERVICE. The staff is kind, but highly ineffective. It took them multiple trips to the table just to get drinks out, water cups filled, etc. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for the appetizers and another 25 minutes for most of the entrees. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for the last entree to be served - and then it was prepared wrong. And this was on a slow night. LOCATION. Can't be beat if you're staying on the grounds. It's right by the Plaza. If you are looking for good food and service, there are better options (like the Intermezzo) on the Chautauqua grounds.

The Empty Bottle is STBC's distillery and, to be honest, I think was more fun to go to compared to their bar/restaurant, The Empty Pint! Some family and I were visiting Jamestown for a weekend and after we had a few drinks and some food at The Empty Pint, we stumbled over to The Empty Bottle to sample some of their harder spirits and maybe some cocktails. Plus, we needed to escape the incredibly loud live music playing at The Empty Pint... Right from the start, it's a more intimate setting and was much more relaxed. We grabbed a table inside with no trouble at all and ordered a flight of their "Draught Cocktails". The ladies working behind the bar were incredibly fun, friendly, and enthusiastic and really brightened up our night! We enjoyed all of these drinks but we really loved one called "Transfusion", which was their vodka, Welch's Grape Juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and ginger ale. We all wanted to buy a few bottles of this, if they made it, it was absolutely delicious! The price for the flight was very reasonable too and they gave you a nice pour for each. If you want food though, you'll need to take a short walk over to The Empty Pint, though I'd recommend just grabbing some appetizers, do a bigger meal elsewhere. My advice to anyone visiting Southern Tier Brewing Company would be to first come to The Empty Bottle and enjoy cocktails and the harder spirits then round out the evening, once it gets a little later, with a Pumking (while it's on draft) at The Empty Pint, up the road a few steps. I'm really looking forward to coming back to The Empty Bottle the next time I'm in the area!

Their menu is not updated on any of their pages so I can't remember what I ordered. It was a cocktail that mixed crisp, dry white wine, some kind of spirit and club soda. It was refreshing, interesting and light yet had just enough flavor to make it unique. The service was good. There were 2 bartenders that night who were helpful, attentive and friendly. There are a few tables with umbrellas outdoors in the front. A bar and some tables on the first floor inside and a metal spiral staircase which has a few small tables on the 2nd floor. Def not a great place for groups. Try and come at an odd time to get a seat.
